Not really.
I’m honestly curious how the French dealt with the legacy of Vichy France.
You can't just slap an "anti-fascist" label on crimes committed after World War II to make them go away.
Bringing up those atrocities is usually just a way to downplay what actually happened.
At the end of the day, you can't—and you shouldn't—justify a crime, no matter who does it.

One more thing:
Every single crime has a perpetrator, and those people need to be held responsible.
