Man, he absolutely tore them apart... honestly, I don't think you should give their columns much credit anyway. Most of these journalists are just sensation-seekers; they write total garbage just to keep people clicking.
On the flip side, I get why he snapped. After being fed nothing but insults and having every result belittled, anyone would lose it. I don't think I've ever seen anyone in American sports get insulted and dismissed quite as much as Červar has.

That said, I’m not saying his outburst was right... he could have shut them down with some actual class. Those reporters aren't exactly geniuses 😁

That defense was easily the best we've seen all season. Hands down. But honestly? It felt like Alilović was constantly having to bail us out on those breakaway shots.

Yesterday everyone was tearing him to pieces, and today suddenly he’s some kind of hero. Honestly, there's zero difference between the last two games and today—the only thing that changed is that Allen shot 45% while Bennett knocked down 7 or 8 shots. That's it.😁

Look, it was fine. We actually had more than two guys who looked like they wanted to be there, so we finally looked like a real national team instead of some random pickup squad from the suburbs. If we want to stay relevant, we need to play like this every single game. And the Poles? They better be heading home too, looking at a 4 or 5 point loss.😉

Here we go again with the complainers... We just beat the European champions and people are actually claiming we have zero ideas in the attack. Give me a break. To me, the offense looked fantastic. Kudos to the players, Červar, Šol, the doctors (for basically patching everyone back together), the fans—honestly, everyone!
Everyone played their part in these wins. You can argue about Červar all you want, but he’s the one doing the job...
Same goes for the medical staff, and the fans who actually trek across the country just to cheer them on.
The coaching staff too.
And obviously, the players... they get the biggest shoutout because they're the ones out there grinding!

But at the end of the day, it’s all come together—sometimes it's incredibly focused and sharp, and other times it's a total circus or a complete meltdown. That’s our national team, and that’s exactly why we love them! They feed us with nothing but pure heart and raw emotion!
One player even suggested that journalists should stop calling them "The Hellraisers" and just call them "Cowboys," because they’re exactly who they are... independent and unique!

The French conditioning is just insane at every single tournament... they manage their rotation from the opening round all the way to the finals like it’s some masterclass in planning. And honestly? Physically, those guys are absolute tanks. They somehow find an extra gear right when things get desperate. While every other team starts hitting a wall, they just keep ramping up.
