What do you guys think about GelSprinter technology? in Computer Peripherals ·
What's the deal here??

I'm hunting for a pretty specific color printer... I was leaning toward laser, but then I stumbled upon this Ricoh Aficio GX3000🤷

What even is a gelSprinter? Like, how does it actually differ from a standard laser setup?
And what's the word on Ricoh as a company??

Oh, and if you guys could recommend a color printer that actually has a front manual feed tray—that'd be huge!
Budget is around $500... See, I need to print on cardstock/invitations—basically soft paper—and while my current laser handles it fine, it's just black and white, so now I'm looking for something similar but in full color!!

Thankss

I mean, I know some people, but it’s strictly business—we aren't exactly "best friends" where I can just send them running all over Los Angeles to handle my random errands!
The whole thing is because his iPhone is unlocked, and there's a chance it might not play nice with my AT&T SIM card. That's why I wanted to have him ship it to me first—I could pop my SIM in to test it, and if it works, I'll send him my phone which isn't locked and works with any carrier under the sun!
It’s a massive headache and honestly, I really don't feel like dealing with the hassle 186 miles over some phone that might not even work when it finally arrives!
I think I'm just gonna call the whole thing off.
Alright folks, I’ve got a question for the group!
How do you guys actually handle trading stuff with someone you've never met before??
So, here's the deal—I met this person on a forum and we're looking to swap phones, but honestly, neither of us trusts the other enough to just mail them out into the void!
My big idea was to swap IDs—you know, send over photos of driver's licenses or some other official doc—and then just ship the packages via Greyhound or something!
I mean, I don't know how else to protect my back... I've already been burned once by a scammer, and let's just say it sucked... So, how would you all play this hand????
