Thanks. I think I'll give it a shot anyway!
I was just checking if those games would run on it, though I mostly stick to Call of Duty: World at War, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, Mafia, and things in that vein.
I'll test it out. If it holds up, I'm buying it. 🙂
By the way, thanks to everyone for the help.

I’ve been watching some gameplay footage online featuring that card.
People are running Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Grand Theft Auto IV; just head over to YouTube if you need proof.
I’ll test it out first. If it handles my games, I’m buying it. If not, I’m passing.
Thanks anyway. What 1 GB card would you recommend instead? 😁

NVIDIA GeForce 210 DDR3
This is the specific graphics card model 😁

Buying some "1GB DDR2" card is pointless when a 512MB GDDR card will just eat it for breakfast..
So fadedorca66 is right—that "1GB" label is meaningless. Besides, the OP didn't even list the price.

The price is 22 miles, since I'm based in the US.
Sounds like a steal to me.

Offtopic: This reminds me of an old thread on PC Gamer where some guy asked if he actually needed a new Voodoo2 with 8 MB just to play Quake II.

No, you misunderstood me.
My neighbor is selling his, and he’s buying a new one because he needs to run FIFA 13.
He was playing Pro Evolution Soccer 2013 on it, and it worked perfectly.
I'll let you know once I find out which GPU model it is.

Hey everyone.
I’m looking to pick up an Nvidia card with 1 GB of VRAM, though I haven't settled on a specific model yet.
Right now, I'm running a Radeon X1650 Series with 512 MB. I want to know if upgrading will actually let me play newer titles like Battlefield 3, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, or Grand Theft Auto IV.
Here is the rest of my build:
AMD Athlon 64 x2 Dual-Core 4400+ 2.31 GHz
1.50 GB RAM
320 GB HDD
Motherboard: BIOSTAR Group N61PB-M2S
(P.S. Will this card even fit on this motherboard?)
Thanks in advance.

I’ve got a question. A friend wants me to install Windows 7 Enterprise SP1 32 on his machine. My concern is this: if the installation hits a snag or fails halfway through, is there a risk the system just reverts back to Windows XP?

Thanks in advance.

Slow down. Most of us are still clinging to Windows XP because it feels like the peak of operating systems—not to mention versions like Windows XP or Black XP. But once people actually get their hands on Windows 7, they’ll realize what a real OS looks like compared to XP. I'm still running XP, but I've used Windows 7 and it's genuinely solid. My only issue was that I was stuck using a trial version; if I had the full version, I would have switched to Windows 7 permanently. For now, I'm sticking with Windows XP.

I’d suggest installing Windows Vista Ultimate, though honestly, Windows 7 is a massive step up from Vista—provided you get the full version.
