Vaginal moisture and flora balance in Women's Health ·
So, I posted this earlier on the Lactogyn thread... honestly, they did absolutely nothing for me. Like, zero improvement whatsoever. But then I stumbled upon those Vagisan suppositories—they're basically just like Lactogyn but in suppository form (some kind of probiotic, if I remember right). My situation actually started looking up immediately after the first dose. Definitely worth checking out if you're struggling.

I mean, obviously, yeah... the tampon gets soaked. You're putting it into a hole that isn't exactly airtight from the outside world, right? Like, what do you guys think? Does anyone actually believe some people's tampons just stay bone-dry? 🙂
If you've been swimming for like half an hour, it’s totally normal for water to get everywhere—between your legs and then right into the opening. It's just how it works.

Anonymous said:Hey girls, I’ve never actually used tampons before. I really want to hit up the local pools, but my period is coming up... so could you please tell me about your experiences swimming with them? Is it safe? Thanks so much!

So, I use them all the time during the summer, usually just the slim ones, and honestly, they've always worked great for me. But this past summer, I headed down to the coast on day one of my trip, and man, it was so insanely hot I couldn't stand it. Since I was right at the start of my period, things were pretty heavy, and the tampon just couldn't keep up. Even though I didn't stay in the water for super long, once I got out, blood was just... leaking down my legs. Not like a total disaster, but enough that I felt like I couldn't go back in the water. Maybe if I had gone with a regular size or even a super absorbent one—do those even exist?—it might have been fine, who knows? But yeah, for me, they weren't exactly 100% foolproof.
