Birth control. I haven’t been on the pill in a while. My understanding is you start on the first day of your period. If my cycle started today around 2 PM, is it too late to wait until tomorrow morning around 10 AM—since that won't be more than 24 hours—or should I just take it today? Thanks. 😁

Has anyone else experienced getting their period during the seven-day break🙄 like what happened to me today? I still have two pills left. This has never happened to me before.🤦

So, if I take a 7-day break, does the next pack start on day 7? If the last pill in this current pack is Tuesday—meaning my break starts Wednesday—does the new pack kick in on the following Tuesday or Wednesday?🤔
I’ve taken these before, but honestly, I’ve forgotten how the timing works.🤣

edit: Found an answer on this forum. It says the 8th day is when you restart, so Wednesday.😁 Though there are different schools of thought; some say day 7, others say day 8. Total headache.
Has anyone here dealt with mixing smoking and pills? I’ve done both together before. I know it isn't exactly healthy, but I'm not even over 35 yet and my blood work comes back clean. Besides, I smoke enough that a single pack lasts me about three days.😁

I’ve got a question... I think I was dropped from the student package the second I started my professional training, yet I still have a student American Express card that doesn't expire for another 10 days. When I went to pick it up, the teller basically brushed me off. She said they don't even bother verifying student status; as long as you pay your bills on time, they couldn't care less.
A little while ago at the bank, I asked the same thing and she couldn't give me a straight answer. 🙄 She just offered her "opinion" that I wouldn't be eligible for it anymore since I'm no longer a student. It’s hard to know who to trust when the staff is this clueless. ☕
I sent an email to their official card services department, so now I'm just waiting. Honestly, I doubt I'll hear anything. I haven't even received any mail at my house regarding a replacement card. 😢

Does anyone else get those sharp ovarian pains when you're on the pill? It feels just like ovulation. I know technically there's no ovulation happening while taking them, but today was the first time I've felt this since starting, and my breasts have been tender for two or three days now—exactly how it feels during my cycle. Is it actually possible to feel these sensations while on birth control?😁

I'm currently taking Lindynette 20 and I'm looking to shift my period forward. I was wondering if it would be better to skip the seven-day break and start a new pack immediately after finishing this one, or if I should stop taking my current pack three or four pills early to trigger the bleeding a few days sooner?
Thanks

I was at a medical seminar once, but I'm pretty sure the logic holds up here—correct me if I'm wrong. Basically, you don't take the break; you just jump straight into the next box and finish it like usual. You might deal with breakthrough bleeding or some spotting during that window when your break should have been.
It’s all clearly laid out in the manual and the instructions.😁

🎉 So, starting next quarter, I’m moving onto a fresh blister pack. 🤣

It’s as if I’ve never even touched OHC before.🤣 I just restarted with Belar, and I’m already nearing the end of the blister pack. I started on Thursday, and now it’s Wednesday—the final day.🤔

In my mind, the day you start taking it counts as day one, and the day you stop is the last day.😂
Does anyone know how much the recipient's address actually matters when shipping through The New York Times? If the recipient is in Canada, I assume their address is there, but the package will be picked up here in the States via The New York Times because they don't handle international pickups directly. Is that going to cause any issues?🤷
Hey, I lost my Wednesday pill—it dropped somewhere and I can't find it🙂 so I just took Thursday's instead. Am I still protected? I'll be one pill short, meaning I won't take it on the last day, so my period will just show up a day early, right?🙂
Mistaken wire transfer/payment error in Banking, Insurance & Loans ·
How should I know? My wife asked me to pay the deposit, so fine, I asked for the account number. She just handed me the one they give to all the tourists.
It’s probably because I tried paying in local currency, which is apparently what they prefer for out-of-towners. I just asked her for the Google account info; hopefully, that clears things up.

I tried sending money to my wife for her summer vacation back home in the States. She gave me her foreign currency account details at JPMorgan Chase, including the IBAN. I went through my online banking with my Wells Fargo account and transferred the agreed amount. On my end, the interface just asks for the receiving bank and the account number—it doesn't even give me a field to input the full IBAN here. 🤷 Instead of the funds landing in her account, the money bounced back to me the next day. The transaction note says "refund of XX dollars per request," listing the sender as JPMorgan Chase. Can someone explain why this happened? Everything was entered correctly. Could it be because it’s a foreign currency account? I’ve only ever done domestic transfers before. I don't get it. Help!

Still no response from John Thomas2 regarding my questions above?😢

Quick question for those of you seeing private nutritionists. When you go back after six months for a new meal plan, do they charge you extra? Like an additional consultation fee or something.😁
I really don't feel like handing over $67 just for the five minutes I'll be sitting there with her.☕
Does anyone here have experience with this, or know someone who does? My palms and fingers have been itching constantly—not necessarily every single day, but maybe every other day. And before anyone asks, no, it’s not because I’m expecting a windfall of cash 😬. It’s an internal itch, almost like a deep ache you can't scratch. There’s no redness, no rash, nothing visible. But today things took a turn for the worse. After I got home from the grocery store this morning, my fingers swelled up so much they looked like two sausages each. They were totally bloated, looking like Shrek😁. I took some Claritin and it settled down after about three or four hours, but it was a disaster. I couldn't even make a fist. It was a bizarre sensation. During the swelling, the itching actually stopped, and it was just the inflammation😲

Initially, I assumed it was just an allergy... but going from an itch to full-blown swelling is a different story. Could this be related to kidney issues? Or maybe my heart? 🤷

I'm planning to see my doctor tomorrow to get a professional opinion.
On top of all this, over the last two months, my lip has swollen up twice—first the upper lip, then the lower one about three weeks later—usually right when I wake up. One day, even my eye was swollen. I have no idea if there's a connection here... anyway, if anyone has any insight, let me know.🙂

Victoria, I don't think that's in the manual.

Honestly, what kind of friend would drink an OHC the moment someone shows up? Every single time, I’d hear it like this. I was actually thrilled. After years of guessing and waiting, I'll finally be able to hear the alarm when it's time to show up.😁 Clearly, some of us are luckier than others.😁

So, I'm on birth control—specifically Yaz—but my question is for everyone here. As an Oral Contraceptive, shouldn't the cycle be standardized to exactly 28 days, just like the textbooks say?😁
Now, I just finished my second pack. With the first one, bleeding started on day 4 of the break, but this time it hit on day 6. That makes it a 30-day cycle. Does it take some time for things to stabilize? Like, three or four months before it hits "to the minute" precision? Or am I just an outlier because my cycles were incredibly irregular before starting this? I’m mainly taking it to manage PCOS on my right ovary.
Lawrence Ramos9 said:Hey there,
So, I’ve been diagnosed with PCOS, and my doctor put me on Belara pills. My period was running late, and for the last three days, I was dealing with this brownish discharge. Well, today the actual bleeding finally kicked in, so I’m planning to take my very first pill today—which essentially marks day one of my cycle. My big question is: am I protected from day one, or should I play it safe and use a backup method like condoms for the next seven days because of that weird spotting I had?
Also, just to be absolutely clear on the mechanics here—my partner can finish inside me, right?

Protection kicks in as soon as you start taking them. That's what my OB-GYN told me.🤷
Yeah, he can,
but make sure you stay consistent and take them at the exact same time every day. 😍 😉

And don't bother tracking fertile windows; that concept doesn't exist while you're on the pill since you aren't ovulating anyway.🙂

😁 So, I haven't had my period for two months. My doctor told me to start taking this supplement on day one because her ultrasound showed a corpus luteum or whatever. She claimed it would trigger a natural cycle. Well, it’s day eleven since that scan and she called it—though instead of a full-on period, it’s more like heavy spotting. Still, I’m counting it. Plus, it saves me a fortune on tampons.😂/
