?🍿

Totally possible, $200 they'd probably just charge you by the day

Are you doing it for looks or just to breathe better? Also, can you tell me which doctor did your surgery?
Ashley Smith82 said:Hey, I'm thinking about getting nose surgery with Dr. Glusac in Makarska. I've heard nothing but amazing things about him... has anyone here actually gone through it with him?🙂)

Maybe take a look at page 358 or something... you'll see it's not all sunshine and rainbows.😵

You can reach out to the American Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons; they can review your files and potentially help file a formal legal complaint.

First off, I don't really get why you went to that clinic. Honestly, with what you paid, you could've picked one of the absolute best rhinoplasty surgeons in the entire country. Did he even show you any before-and-after photos? Because that link basically proves everything. The guy doesn't even know how to straighten a nose profile, let alone handle more complex nasal surgery.

I mean, part of this is kind of on you, too. You really should've double-checked who you were going to and what to expect. The Bagatin Clinic has a gorgeous office in a high-end medical center, friendly nurses, plasma TVs, a slick website, and ads everywhere online. One girl mentioned she went there for a facial, which needs fancy, expensive equipment. But for nose surgery? Like, 96% of it depends on the surgeon. They need tons of experience, steady hands, and hundreds of previous surgeries under their belt so you're just another successful case. People don't seem to realize that, so they go to someone like Bagatin or a junior surgeon and then come venting on forums because things didn't turn out right.

I had an almost identical situation to Kimberly Sullivan, just with a different surgeon who, by the way, is actually a member of that American Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons. 🤦
Can anyone recommend one of those top-tier nose surgeons?

If I could ask one more thing—is there ever a situation where you shouldn't do osteotomies to narrow the nose? Thanks!

Since Betty Edwards22 is totally ghosting me, does anyone know when they actually advise against getting osteotomies to narrow the nose?
If anyone here has actually had surgery with Livije Kalogjera, could you please reach out? I’d love to hear about your experience—feel free to just shoot me a private message if that's easier!
Betty Edwards22 said:I don't know, man, but I think there are only like two clinics open on weekday afternoons over by the Vinogradski area.
You can either book an appointment yourself or just have your primary care doctor handle it for you through the online portal.

Thanks for the heads-up! I just went ahead and placed my order through the doctor's online portal.👍
Can I ask one more thing? Is there ever a situation where doing osteotomies to narrow the nose just isn't a good idea? Thanks!
Betty Edwards22 said:That's basically what Prof. Kalogjera does. The whole idea is to trim down the cartilaginous part of the nasal valve without messing up how you actually breathe.
But from what I've heard—he does his surgeries at the hospital and handles exams in a super crowded clinic every single week.

How would anyone even get an appointment with that doctor if they don't live in New York City? Does he do any private practice?
Has anyone else dealt with a little bump or lump popping up after surgery? I’m wondering how long you usually have to wait before you can even think about a revision. It’s been 18 days since my procedure, so I’m still just waiting on a follow-up and to hear what the doctor actually thinks. Also, does it take a while to finally feel like you can breathe better again? Because honestly, I’m still struggling 😢

The nose shape is going to change every single day.

Yeah, I get that, but I’m not even worried about the swelling. It's this new little bump that’s bugging me—it looks way uglier and doesn't blend in nearly as well as my old one did. From what I can tell, the people who had their bump removed right after the cast came off seemed totally happy and didn't end up with this issue at all.
wanderingstag9 said:Hey everyone,
I went in today to have my splints removed, and honestly, I'm pretty devastated. There’s this bump right on the bridge of my nose now (I had septoplasty and a hump reduction), and I'm low-key freaking out about whether it's actually going to go away 😕
Has anyone else dealt with something like this???

Anyone?
I guess I don't know if it's too early to tell since they just took the splints off yesterday. At first, it didn't look too bad, and they told me it’s probably just swelling that will eventually go down. But, man, when I touch it, I can literally feel the bone. My old bump was only on the left side, but this new one is right in the middle of my nose bridge and shows up in both profiles. I'm super worried, especially because my breathing still isn't quite back to normal yet... 😢
Hey there,
So, I went in today to get my splints removed, and honestly, I’m pretty devastated. There's this little bump right on the bridge of my nose now—I just had septoplasty and a hump reduction, and I'm freaking out thinking it might actually stay there. 😕
Has anyone else gone through something similar???
Join The Club !!! I've been dealing with this exact same thing for as long as I can remember. Even when I was a little kid, my hands and feet were always freezing 😢 and of course, I'm super anemic too
. My doctor just told me it's bad circulation and that I need to eat "stronger" foods and move around more... 🙂 ...I mean, what a load of nonsense...
Anyway, there isn't much anyone can really do about it, unfortunately 😢
