The absolute essential vinyl picks I’d—well, let’s just say I *must* own... 🙂

Sonic Youth - Daydream Nation
Swans - Children of God
Jawbreaker - Dear You
Radiohead - OK Computer
Neutral Milk Hotel - In Aeroplane Over the Sea

I don't know who told you that—honestly, they were lying through their teeth... 😬

etc.

Clearly, you haven't crossed paths with Mr. Blake Schwarzenbach yet. 😁

They weren't. 😛

I Can Hear the Heart Beating as One is an "old" album? ...Good grief, that came out eight years ago... I’m starting to feel my age. 😢

''let down and hanging around..crushed like a bug into the ground''?
Are we even listening to the same track? 🤔

Just because a melody sounds pretty doesn't mean the song itself is happy...

dEUS — just a bit of bad timing?

Carol Jackson45 said:Thanks. I figured someone would take offense. 😘

Well... who else is going to do it besides some damn emo? 😳

now playing: Bon Jovi - I Am 😬

Well... someone finally figured out the trick 😁

Carol Jackson45 said:I'm putting together a list of 10 (exceptionally moody) autumn tracks.

Total amateurs... 🙄

Seriously though—this list is pure melancholy...

iron & wine – upward over the mountain
radiohead – let down
national – city middle
elliott smith – ballad of big nothing
smiths – asleep
jawbreaker – accident prone
Xiu Xiu – hives hives
wedding present – interstate 5
smart went crazy – now we're even
red house painters – drop

And if I feel like being extra dramatic, I can easily add more...

Kevin Chavez3 said:I can't complain about an emo band—the name is killer, especially since it nods to Jawbreaker, so massive respect there. 👍

Honestly, I just don't get how that name hasn't been snatched up already. 😁

Here are my top four things I don’t play—though I know some people would probably love to see me try:

Lilihip and me — Swedish gay disco.
It's all our fault—Mihael, Nicholas Perez33, and myself—just a bunch of damn emos.
3. golden germans (oktopod and I—a progressive folk duo)
4. lvcky (stresse, hans, krivi, oktopod and me — a heavy metal blend with a hint of Brit-pop)

Then again... maybe I should actually get started—at least then my odds with the opposite sex might improve. 🙄

Only if he picks up one of those high-end hair straighteners🤣

Man, you talk about Nomad like you were actually an editor there—aside from your posts on this forum, of course. 😬

I think I'm guessing here—maybe even just speaking from memory—but it’ll probably end up being 😁

Ooh... so you're not even in the running. 😬

:cough:Arcade Fire is just total garbage lately :cough:
