Well then, you better start prepping now for how things are going to be down the road. Like I said before. It’s not gonna kill you to use wipes once in a while, and if you can, just stick to an intimate soap with a low pH.
mellowrider23 said:One quick question here—I’m trying not to start a whole new thread if I can help it, but it’s about my discharge...
Before... it wasn't this "heavy." It used to be more transparent, not in these amounts. But now (I'm 21) it’s heavier and somehow whiter. So, I wanted to ask, is this actually normal? And will the amount keep increasing as I get older?? Help me out.

Totally normal for it to change up. Sometimes it’s clear, sometimes white. Sometimes it’s thick, sometimes runny. Volume fluctuates too. If it starts smelling like death, go see a doctor. For now, grab some vaginal wipes from the drugstore and see if that helps. Stick to cotton underwear, skip the synthetic stuff.

You got some solid advice there, take it. Nemrut, Bob, and Beebop all dropped some truth bombs you should probably sit with.
You can't change the people around you, so wasting energy whining about why they are the way they are is pointless. Better to just focus on working on YOURSELF so their nonsense doesn't hit you as hard.

And why the sudden "bitch" label at the end? Doesn't seem to have anything to do with the rest of what you wrote.

I don't really care about the whole Princess Diana thing as some documentary piece either. Even if it's mostly fiction, there’s something gripping about it. Her character is what sticks—this woman totally disconnected from the real world, unable to wrap her head around why people obsess over someone they’ve never even met, or how they can be so loud with their feelings when she wouldn't even show emotion in front of her own grandkids. It's all about how her upbringing shaped her into that person. I think you completely missed the point of the movie. It didn't have to be about Princess Diana specifically, but they used her and Elizabeth as examples to make the impact hit harder.
Personally, I couldn't care less about the British Royal Family. I never followed who Princess Diana was dating, who that guy was, or any of the drama involving the rest of the family. I'm watching this strictly as cinema, and as art, it’s actually high quality.

I mean, Helen Mirren is fantastic, and the rest of the cast is solid too—no arguments there—but does anyone actually care about these events? What was the point? The story feels way too niche (by which I mean it seems like something only an Englishman would find gripping) and it has that vibe of a Sunday afternoon TV movie...

I can see why it got nominated, though. Still, I’d have picked United 93 over this any day. But hey, to each their own... 🙂

honestly, if you don't get what the movie is about, you just missed the point. It's not just for Americans. Look, I'm not even from here and I found it pretty gripping.

I take enough of that stuff when I need it. But honestly, why would I grab a Tylenol for dehydration when a glass of water—which is actually way better for you—does the trick?

See? And you still don't have kidney issues, right? 🙂
I carry water in my bag too.

Brenda Ramos5 said:I’m not sure if anyone else has already thrown this out there, but personally, I swear by loose-leaf Melissa officinalis L. tea—skip those cheap little tea bags, they just don't hit the same. You can usually find some decent bulk stuff over at Whole Foods. My go-to move is to toss about four teaspoons into a small cup of hot water and just sip it while it's lukewarm without adding any sugar. Generally speaking, lemon balm is great for chilling out and taking the edge off, so I figure it might do the trick for you since I'm guessing your insomnia is basically just stress running wild. Fingers crossed it helps.😉

you know what lemon balm is called in Latin, English, or German?

I don't give a damn about your magic medicine.

Kyle Nelson2 said:It’s weird how my body reacts to being dehydrated. I don't even get sleepy or a headache, I just end up feeling super thirsty instead.😉

I mean, maybe the whole thing about headaches being a dehydration symptom only really applies to alcoholics, mostly because you're losing fluid from your brain or whatever.

that’s straight up wrong. happened to me plenty of times—got a killer headache without touching a drop of booze. drink a couple glasses of water and it’s gone in thirty minutes.

Water is basically fuel for staying alive. You’re over 50% water, so it handles everything from moving nutrients around to keeping your blood volume and body temp steady. Take a second to think about how much you actually drink. To stay balanced and not feel like garbage, aim for at least five big glasses a day. Even a tiny bit of dehydration—the kind you don't even notice—can hit you with headaches or leave you feeling totally wiped out. Stick to water, milk, or some real fruit and veggie juices. It’s extra critical when it’s scorching outside or after a workout. Don't wait until you're thirsty; if you're hitting the gym, sip on something before, during, and after if you want to actually see results and avoid crashing.

Just remember, by the time you're thirsty, you're already dehydrated. Try to get through about 50 ounces a day. Plain water is your best bet.

I’m pretty sure 1.5 to 2 liters a day isn't even a lot. I don't know how many glasses you think I mean when I say "every hour," but just think about how often you're hitting the bathroom and how much fluid you're actually losing.
Honestly, just use your pee as a gauge—it should be pale yellow. The darker it gets, the more dehydrated you are.
In the summer, obviously you need more since you're sweating more. Plus, if you're slamming coffee or tea all day (which just makes you pee more), you've gotta drink even more water to make up for it. I've heard it from doctors enough times and read it in a million health magazines to know there's no debate: 2 liters a day, easy.

I've been struggling with sleep. Every single night, even when I'm absolutely exhausted, it takes me at least two or three hours just to drift off. It isn't the temperature, I'm not overthinking things, and there aren't any specific stressors keeping me up. I end up getting maybe five hours of sleep a night—that's it. And naps during the day don't work for me either. The real issue is that I'm constantly wiped out; my memory is shot, and my focus is even worse. I feel completely drained and listless, and this has been going on for quite a while now.
Does anyone have any advice, personal experiences, or even just a suggestion? Should I try to force a long sleep session, or am I better off just staying awake since this is becoming unbearable?
Maybe ramping up physical activity would help? Help.🙂

For sure: EXERCISE!!! At least three times a week. A few years back, I basically forced myself to start jogging, and honestly, it's one of the best things I've ever done for myself. Once you get hooked, it’s like a drug. You see how much better life gets. You become addicted to that post-run high. But you have to grind through those first couple of months to make it a habit.

And drink 2 liters of water every single day. Get into the habit of sipping water every hour or so. Try to do the exact same thing every night an hour before bed—create a ritual so your brain knows what's coming. Like, half an hour before hitting the hay, start prepping your pajamas, make some chamomile tea, or warm up a cup of milk with honey. Take a 15-minute soak in the tub and just zone out. Or hop in a hot shower for 15 minutes and let the water melt the stress away. Put on some chill music—nothing too distracting, just background noise to relax to. Then hit the bed with a book that isn't super gripping; pick something kind of boring so your mind wanders and you drift off.
Try to wake up at the same time every day so your internal clock actually stands a chance. If you can, walk whenever possible. If you're running on low sleep, try a 20-minute power nap during the day (just close your eyes and focus on breathing). But don't actually fall asleep. It helps boost energy.
Eat healthier too—smaller meals, but more frequent. Maybe 5 small ones a day. Eat stuff that gives you energy instead of food that makes you crash immediately after. You can find plenty of info on that online.
But most importantly: EXERCISE!

Henry Mitchell2 said:Good grief, I deal with those bizarre jerks myself. It pulls me right out of sleep, too—has been happening for quite some time now. I can't exactly offer much comfort via medication 🙂, unfortunately; I’ve simply learned to live with it. I drift off, feel that sudden twitch (like a strange vibration in the head, right?), lie there for a bit, and then fall back under. It rarely happens more than once a night, so I don't let it get to me too much.
I find that certain meditative techniques help me settle down and fall asleep faster. As for stress, it really has nothing to do with it...

Yeah, exactly. Like a tiny short circuit in your brain. Usually, I'm terrified to even try sleeping again that night because I'm waiting for it to hit. It feels creepy in the moment, even if I don't think twice about it during the day. I was just wondering if anyone else goes through this.
Not sure, but I think it hits hardest when I'm totally wiped and my body and soul are just begging for sleep.

Kyle Nelson2 said:Does that just wake you up inside your head, or does the impulse actually travel from your brain into some other part of your body? Like, can you actually feel it physically?

Honestly, I don't know. That impulse freaked me out so much I couldn't even tell if it hit my body or not. Only happened maybe 4 or 5 times in my life.

Kyle Nelson2 said:Do you get those twitches just at the very start, or does it happen constantly while you're trying to drift off? (Like, over and over again)

Just at the start. Right as I'm drifting off, maybe. Hard to tell.

Nah, I’m not talking about involuntary leg twitches or anything. I’ve dealt with this phenomenon since I was a kid, so it doesn't really freak me out. It’s more like something just glitches in my brain and carries over from a dream. Sometimes it feels like something is happening *to* me—like a sudden jolt of fear or being on edge. It’s hard to put into words because it isn't some concrete physical thing, like a muscle spasm.
