How to create a bootable CD

There’s nothing left to extract—it’s just straight-up burning that ISO file directly to the Nero drive.
How to create a bootable CD

Henry Morales32 said:I’ve got a few different ISO images—standalone bootable tools, really—and they work fine on their own. Each one has its own dedicated disc (which I burned from the images I downloaded). What I’m actually looking for is a way to bundle them all onto a single disc. It would be so much more practical—you know, when you fire up the PC and set it to boot from the optical drive, it would just pop up a simple menu like this:
1) To start xxx, press ...
2) To start yyy, press ...
3) To start zzz, press ...
In this scenario, xxx, yyy, and zzz would just be my existing images.
Thanks in advance for any help!
Look, you can't just boot directly from an image file—you have to unpack everything first... try hunting down the autoexec.bat files on those discs and see if you can mash them together into one master file.
?!?!?! The Nero 8-ice runs a bit pricier 🙂

😕 I haven't actually run into an issue where you couldn't install it onto a different partition yet... what kind of error message are you getting?
Looking for drivers for Mercury SW-480 480 speakers

Wait, what is that software even for? I’ve never heard of needing some specific program just to run speakers—especially not when you're talking about gear that costs $100-$$50.

Just pick whatever operating system you're running from the list and grab the driver—it’s about 50 MB—and you'll find the installation instructions right there: http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport...&lang=en&cc=us
Photoshop resolution issues! HELP!
in Software ·
Just do the math—it’s actually pretty simple if you stop overthinking it. Say you’ve got an image that’s sitting at 900x900 pixels—assuming we're talking standard ppi here—but then you go to hit print and set your resolution to 150 dpi. You’ll end up with a printout that’s roughly 6x6 inches. Easy enough, right?
Photoshop resolution issues! HELP!

Resolution (ppi) and DPI aren't even the same thing—they really shouldn't be confused. DPI is strictly about what happens when you hit print; it basically tells the printer how many dots to squeeze into each pixel. Lower DPI means fewer dots, which obviously affects print quality, but it has zero impact on the actual image resolution itself. Honestly, the question you asked is a bit of a dud 🙂
.
I'm also totally lost on the second part—what do you mean by "abandoned," and why on earth would anyone need a Photoshop PDF? 😕

Looking for a good video capture program?

Taylor Brooks3 said:Is the picture quality actually any good at that resolution?
Look, we're talking about Betamax resolution here—roughly 352 pixels by whatever—so you aren't exactly going to win any awards for clarity. It’s basically as good as it gets. If the video looks fine playing directly from your hard drive, then your DVD drive or player is probably just acting up—it's likely a hardware hiccup. Try burning the disc at a slower speed next time.
Looking for a tool to split ISO files?

And what’s that actually going to do for you? You’ll just end up having to copy the whole thing over to your HDD and then deal with the headache of merging it all back together just to actually use it.

Check out your settings in Penny when you're setting up a capture—you've got to make sure the output format and resolution are actually dialed in correctly. Try running the capture again using MPEG-1 at a 640x480 resolution. That should land you at roughly 30 MB per minute, which means you're looking at about 5 GB for a three-hour stretch.

So, what kind of resolution are we actually looking at here—what's the file size? Honestly, if we're talking old-school VHS quality, it’s pretty low-res; trying to capture anything higher than 640x480 feels like a total waste of time.

Look, just take that Penny software and transcode it into an AVI or whatever format you actually need. 😕

Honestly, I don't think this is even a software issue—it feels way more like a hardware headache. You might be dealing with a dying capture card or maybe just a finicky old VHS player. Before you waste any more time trying to capture anything, try rewinding the whole tape all the way to the end and then fast-forwarding back to the start—sometimes that clears out the digital cobwebs. By the way, are you recording this straight to MPEG-2?

Man, as long as it actually works—I’m still rocking Winamp 5.32 and it plays everything perfectly without needing a single extra plugin. 😕
