Just so you know, there's a cap of $2,000 per visit for reimbursement... and that supplemental coverage stays valid for 15 days after you set up the agreement.
Premature graying: What are your thoughts? in Health ·
I can't offer you much hope here, honestly... genetics really is the deciding factor. I started seeing silver hairs in my early 20s, and now that I’m hitting my 30s, it’s pretty much a constant companion. My father went through the exact same thing and turned gray quite early too. Personally, I look at it as a bit of a silver lining—if I have to deal with one thing, I’d much rather be graying than completely bald! If you are truly looking to spend some money on it, you might try a B-complex vitamin or perhaps a more potent Stress B-Complex supplement. Though, I should mention that graying doesn't really have much to do with stress, at least not the emotional kind we usually talk about. No legitimate study has ever actually backed that up. It used to be linked to oxidative stress—the idea being that things like smog or smoking could deprive hair follicles of oxygen and speed up the process—but even then, the impact isn't particularly significant. 👍
Potassium Chloride in Health ·
dustydrifter14 said:I don't really have any issues regarding my potassium levels. I eat plenty of fruits and vegetables, fish, raisins, apricots, you name it.
I picked up some effervescent Potassium Magnesium + C tablets from Natural Wealth, and I was wondering—if I start taking these instead of just drinking fruit juice, is that going to cause any problems?
I mean, given how solid my diet already is, am I at risk of overdoing it on the potassium?
Thanks!

As long as your kidneys are functioning properly, you should be fine. But if they aren't... well, then you might have a problem.
One is Marivarin, while the others are just ear and eye drops.🙂
Look, you’ve basically got the same thing with Maxitrol—it’s just a corticosteroid paired with an antibiotic. There's really no reason to let those folks at the Dolac Market rip you off.🙂

I truly feel for that young man. It’s such a shame his parents didn't pass down a genuine, heartfelt love for Christ, choosing instead to spend all their energy on what people call "performing" rituals at the altar rather than actually living the faith...🙂

The distinction between being religious and being spiritual—and how people constantly conflate the two—is an age-old conundrum. Just look at how things stood during Jesus' era compared to where we've ended up today; it’s quite a journey when you think about it.🙂

Honestly, I’m not looking for a fight with anyone specifically, unless we’re talking about those religious psychopaths who spend their time wrecking young lives. That's the kind of thing you actually have to stand up against. When I say I’m against Catholic doctrine, I know exactly what I’m talking about. It just clouds your judgment and misleads people, and I wasn't about to let myself fall for that trap.

So, if you don't mind me asking, which religion do you follow?

I don't mean to step in or play judge here, but it seems like your parents might have missed passing down the most vital foundation: a genuine love for faith and for Jesus. That said, it’s never too late to discover that connection on your own terms.🙂

The pies—you know, the cream ones, the white ones, the honey varieties—aren't just those lackluster things where only the icing has any flavor; they are actually delicious and soft, with creams that truly taste like something, and those tiny, flaky crusts that look almost too perfect to eat. They have a wide variety, and quite a few of the pastries are sold by weight. As someone in the pastry industry myself, I am genuinely satisfied. They have my full recommendation.👍
As for the sweet secret, all I've heard is that their quality has taken a massive dive, but that's just hearsay, so 🤷

To be honest, everything we tried from Sweet Delights tasted incredibly repetitive, almost like they were all made with the same tub of margarine. We ended up spending quite a bit of time browsing before finally settling on some treats from Tom & Nancy's... I'm crossing my fingers they turn out better. Does anyone here have any experience with them?
