We've been making kits since 1924, and in all those years of football tailoring we were bound to make some shirts that would raise a few eyebrows and in some cases scare small children. We loved these shirts when they were first designed, and we thank those of you that bought them when they launched. Here's a look back at some of our more "creative" productions.

The Portugal kit looks like something an animator dreamed up after seeing a girl way out of his league and completely losing his cool. It honestly feels like Nike spent way too much time obsessing over how to please Cristiano Ronaldo again.
If you’re allergic to feathers, stay far away from this Japanese kit. Seriously. Out of the seven ugliest jerseys I've seen lately, four of them feature these bizarrely faded graphics, and this one is right at the top of that list. Now, look, the Japanese have always had a reputation for being bold and experimental with their fashion, but slapping feather patterns on a jersey is a massive reach. It’s not like it’s actually going to make their style of play any more graceful.
Peter Reed70 said:It's the exact same deal with that '98 jersey. You've got people constantly acting like it's the greatest thing ever, but I bet you anything most of them actually think it sucks. That kit is just... weird. One side is covered in these random-sized little squares all twisted up, while the other side is just plain white. It looks like someone designed it after three too many beers at a dive bar. 👎
And don't even get me started on how everyone worships Umbro. Umbro makes these super basic jerseys. They're so sterile and boring that you can't even find the words to hate them, but you definitely can't say they're great either.
Like, Umbro could never pull off an Inter Milan style crusade kit because their designs are way too "safe."
