Just a suggestion if your Wi-Fi keeps acting up on you.
Thanks! We'll give that a shot. :-)
We just decided to "upgrade" our internet speed through AT&T to a "super fast" 1 Gb/s connection. Everything seems to be running perfectly on paper, but my Xiaomi box started acting up immediately—it keeps stuttering and freezing up.
The settings clearly show that it’s "connected," yet the interruptions just keep happening.
It isn't constant; it mostly hits me in the late afternoon and during the evening. I don't think it has anything to do with the number of users online, since it happens regardless. Has anyone else dealt with something similar? Or does anyone have an idea on how to fix this? I've already tried resetting it and running updates, but nothing helps.
Thanks in advance for any advice or suggestions!
Please, go see a urologist right away. There are emergency urology clinics available 24/7 in most major cities, including Washington, D.C., so depending on where you're located, help is always accessible.
Don't let fear or hesitation hold you back from getting checked out... honestly, the sooner you act, the better!
This isn't the kind of thing you can just put off for next week. Grab your mom or dad, get some support, and head to the doctor... if you can make an appointment for tomorrow, that would be ideal.
I’m crossing my fingers for you, and I truly hope everything turns out fine, but I have to stress this again: please, get to a urologist as soon as possible!👍

1. Who in their right mind works 8 shifts a month!? That means you aren't sleeping at home twice a week. It means in one week with those shifts, you're pulling 2 + 24 hours, which is 48 hours just from two calls. And obviously, you still have to work the rest of the week, making it: 8+8+8+24+24= 72 hours a week.
Who actually wants to work at least 72 hours a week??? For peanuts?
2. The base pay for a standard 40-hour week is pathetic. Call pay is an EXTRA thing. Why would I be a sucker and take 8 shifts a week and sleep at the hospital every third day—maybe not even sleep if the ER is slammed—when primary practice doesn't even handle what it's supposed to (with exceptions)?????!
3. I haven't even factored in working Saturdays, Sundays, Christmas, or Easter.
4. This whole idea is just gross. Gross, gross, gross.
Medical students: *applause*
(If anyone can) from the medical field 🙂
You hit the nail right on the head, Casey Cook10! 😢
Unfortunately, it’s one of those "open secrets." Any politician or high-ranking official brave enough to actually say it out loud would be flown straight out of office before they could even finish their sentence.
The stories they feed the general public just don't reflect the grim reality of what's actually happening in our healthcare system.
So, honestly, I don't see an easy way out, at least not for now. 🤷
Anyone else thinking about entering the medical profession? For your own sake, you might want to think twice. 👎

Of course, I'm enrolling, and I plan to nail the boards on my first attempt and get out of here.
As for the salary, honestly, it’s not my main driver. As long as it provides a decent standard of living, I'm good.
Even if university lasted twenty years, I'd still sign up. When you're obsessed with something, you don't care how long it takes or how brutal the grind is.
I wouldn't take some other job offering three times a physician's salary if it were handed to me on a silver platter.🙂BECAUSE NOTHING SUCKS MORE THAN WORKING A JOB YOU HATE.
What a dreamer... if you really mean it when you say you want to "get out" of America, then you'd be better off applying to schools abroad right now—wherever it is you actually plan on going. Unless, of course, you're a masochist who doesn't mind the headache of re-learning everything and retaking exams just to get your degree recognized.
And about that salary not mattering? Well, okay... just walk into a grocery store, tell them you're a doctor, and you'll probably get whatever you want just by looking charming.🤣🤣🤣
Found it (completely on my own) 👍
Is there seriously nobody here???
I can't believe it—unless everyone is just keeping it a professional secret, 🤣?
Does anyone know where I can pick up some Kinesio Tape around the area? Any recommendations? 😕
Just to clarify, Fevarin is actually an antidepressant, not a sedative.☕Cerson is a benzodiazepine—exactly like Ambien—which means taking it long-term is definitely going to lead to dependency. Now, Valium isn't technically a "true" benzodiazepine in that sense, so while addiction is possible if you're on high doses for a really long time, it's actually quite rare...
What actually works for chronic insomnia 😢?

I'm quoting here: "Ambien is a sleep-inducing agent"😕
