Peace and Love, sister.

Luckily enough, I’m not from Zaporizhzhia, and I don't root for Dynamo.

Music and football—both are solid essentials in my book.
If I could hit a concert once a week and get out on the pitch for some pickup soccer twice a week with the guys, that would be a solid routine. Honestly, that’s all I need to feel fulfilled—just getting sweaty, working hard, and completely burning off that energy. When I really think about it, my footwork isn't exactly pro-level, and my dancing in some dark, suffocating club is probably even worse, but hey, it doesn't really matter.

Man, does anyone else remember that absolute gem, "Down All The Days"? I was just scrolling through some old web archives and found a quote from it...

I have often had to depend upon the kindness of Strangers but I've never been asked and i never replied if they were truly there when things got heavy. It’s funny how that works. You spend your life thinking you can rely on certain pillars, only to realize those pillars were made of sand all along. When you're actually in the trenches, looking for a hand to pull you up, the silence can be deafening. It makes you question everything you thought you knew about community and support.

If I were actually a supporter of the Glasgow Rangers, my life would look a lot different right now.

Now that is what I'm talking about!

...and so it goes for days on end, my keyboard just taking the brunt of it...

Heading to NP.
Gave it a listen the other day.
Look, I’ll admit I’m a bit of a sucker when it comes to that whole 'skinny ties, skinny arms' indie rock vibe.
The album isn't terrible, but for me, it’s just forgettable—kind of like their last one.

Sometimes I find myself leaning more toward the Interpol vibe—it’s got that gritty, urban energy that hits right.

Franz Ferdinand vs. Interpol = 0 : 2

It would be a hell of a circus if you put these two bands together, plus their most loyal roadie, performing at two small, stripped-down venues. Based on current form, the New York Rangers would probably take the lead.

I wonder how our local acts are doing—any 'disco death' vibes lately?
Everything I know, I’ve picked up from those 'pretty in pink' music blogs.
I can already tell, I’m going to have to catch a show soon.

...mostly because it’s the only track they have where there's actually a glimmer of light.

Richard Thompson33, check the local video rental shop. I actually borrowed it about two months ago from a Jadro franchise over in my neighborhood. It’s a solid flick—pretty wild and honestly kind of depressing—it's about the Beatnik scene in Mexico.
