I happened to stumble upon a few new tracks recently while browsing some P2P networks. If I remember correctly, there were two of them... one was titled "The Door"... and honestly, in my opinion, it sounds significantly better than *St. Anger* (though, let's be real, it’s hard to bottom out any lower than that)
But I’m not exactly holding my breath for a masterpiece when it comes to a full album. They played their best material a long time ago. At this point, I’ll be satisfied if they just release something that doesn't make *St. Anger* look like a classic, and then they can finally hang it up and retire.

Rock and country are the heavy hitters here... anything else is just an embarrassment.

If they had stuck to the material from their debut, I might have actually shown up... but their later albums took such a flamboyant, soft direction that I just wasn't feeling it. No thanks for me.

The Dropkick Murphys are in a league of their their own... honestly, they're the only punk rock band I can actually stomach listening to lately.
