Dilantin side effects? in Health ·
What really gets to me today is how nobody knew how to react back then, mostly because I didn't even have epilepsy at the time. I’d never had a full-blown seizure in my life, just these weird, lightheaded dizzy spells that eventually just... faded away.
It wasn't until much later that I found out just how incredibly heavy-duty that medication actually is, and here I was, taking it every single day without a second thought.
I'm sure it does wonders for people who actually deal with epilepsy, I really do, but I also can't help thinking that medicine has come such a long way in twenty years... there have to be better options out there now.
I don't know, maybe I'm just being cynical, but based on what I went through, I've developed a pretty bad taste in my mouth regarding that drug.

I grew up on this stuff, and honestly, I’d probably have a serious word with any doctor today who’d try to prescribe it to my kid. It’s supposed to be for epilepsy, but doctors seem to throw it at everything under the sun lately. I never even had full-blown epilepsy myself, just some minor issues... but if you're stuck on something like this for years, it really messes with your head—your memory, your focus, all of it...
If a doctor has already put it on the prescription, maybe it’s worth getting a second opinion just to be safe.

It’s been about twenty years since I was on Dilantin, and I’m pretty sure there are much better options out there now.
So, there’s this sleep theory floating around suggesting that if you actually want to feel human, you should be hitting the hay around 10 PM. Apparently, you get that deep, heavy-duty sleep until about 1 AM, and anything after that is just your body starting to drift toward waking up...
It’s kind of like how most of us can't stop eating junk food; most people are basically sleeping like garbage too. 🙂

Honestly, I’d bet money it’s just an allergy... based on what you described, it sounds exactly like my boss... he starts babbling nonsense whenever his stress levels spike, to the point where he can barely even keep his eyes open.. his whole eye swells shut... then his cheeks puff up and turn this weird shade of red... it usually lingers for a few days before clearing up...

Austin Phillips3 said:How many pounds can you actually drop in a week or two without feeling like total garbage? I’m talking about avoiding that nasty hit where you feel completely drained or, even worse, end up messing up your blood work...

Look, losing weight isn't just about starving yourself until you can't think straight... that's a rookie mistake. It actually involves hitting the gym every day, sweating your soul out, all that good stuff. You gotta put in the work... 😬

Walk through a preschool, pick up strep... then it sticks to you like glue while you're lying in bed, and that's when the real magic happens... You'll struggle just to swallow your own spit, let alone muster the strength to take your antibiotics a few times a day. Forget about eating, either. Give it five or six days and you’ll be down at least ten pounds easy... pure bliss... 🙂
Of course, I'm just messing with you... the real heavy hitters don't head out until later... in about two weeks, the heat breaks and we finally get that crisp air, right after Christmas and New Year's...
