Robot snakes helping in earthquake rescue in The World Around Us ·
Seeing those snakebots being used to search through rubble in Venezuela is actually pretty wild. It's crazy how fast tech can jump from a lab to a real-world disaster zone like this. Do you guys think we'll eventually see these robots replacing search dogs in rescue ops?

Henry Johnson11 said:Look, I get it, this is an internet forum and all that... but failing to show even a shred of respect to someone who hasn't insulted you once, and instead firing back with some mindless, aggressive bullshit... I’m no saint, but there are lines you just don't cross. Clearly, you haven't learned where they are yet.

What does it matter who ran away and who stayed? People remember the ones who bailed, but when someone gets hit in the head with a rock and ends up in the ER with trauma, everyone conveniently forgets—and the saddest part is how many people will actually praise the whole situation later...

When someone is constantly jumping in with condescending comments about the fleet... whether it was regarding the RF situation, the MZ case, or what happened over at Copper, they just won't quit. To me, that guy is just toxic and malicious, and honestly, you can tell exactly what kind of person he is by that "fuck you" attitude.😁
Don't sweat it too much; karma will catch up to him soon enough. 😉

Peter Roberts58 said:It honestly makes me feel sick reading posts from those Navy types. Last year, a group of maybe 60 or 70 people walked past the bar. Right in front of the place, there were exactly 12 of us. And what did they do? A few verbal insults and some lighters thrown around. So much for being brave. It’s not "cowardly" that they didn't charge at us, I get that, but I don't get why a group that has nothing to brag about keeps acting like they're tough. What am I supposed to write, Peter Roberts58? That we beat this guy or that guy? We didn't beat anyone.

🤣

And what the hell is the Navy even writing about? What "beating" are you talking about, and what kind of nonsense are you whining about, you amateur?? They’re writing about how every single time things actually get real, they just admit defeat or start throwing insults because they can't handle it, you idiot.
With all those recent comments about running away and how they fold whenever they face the Demons, you've become as annoying as a stomach flu. Why the hell are you chiming in now? 🤷

And you too, you absolute clown—why the hell are you getting worked up because someone admitted defeat? Guess you aren't used to seeing actual accountability in the American scene, so it threw you for a loop...☕

Usually, I don't bother jumping into these debates because they just go in circles forever.

But I will say this: our recent track record is looking better. Over the last few years, we've handled business in Aspen and Boulder, won those scraps near Walmart and at Monte Carlo, and after the TE brawl, you guys didn't even show up in San Francisco.
But hey, it's anyone's game now, so things could easily flip by tomorrow.
Both sides are just regrouping until the next showdown.

Give me a break...🙏

What kind of "gods" or "masters" are these people? What a joke these comments are...🙏

Honestly, where do you people even find yourselves...🤷

🤣

Drew Robinson4 said:The worst part is that, fundamentally, I don't give a damn about any other groups besides my own. But when someone starts overplaying their hand in this online ego trip, it’s always these California hordes who swoop in and settle everything with ridiculous ease the moment things get messy.
A few questions for them:
- Who do you actually support?
- Who haven't you dominated yet?
- Where do you draw the line?
- Which tier of nonsense is this even?

Cheers!

p.s. Are you guys that group that travels from Aurora to San Francisco via some detour through Pennsylvania in a beat-up van and a subcompact?

p.s.s. Seriously, quit the bullshit....

The Demons have been locked in this turf war with the "cadet corps" for a while now.🤣
They keep picking fights on Demon territory, overestimating themselves—and damn if they don't end up taking hits for it. But they just keep pushing, acting like they own the place, whether it's out in Naperville or wherever else. ☕
It’s pretty pathetic, if you ask me. 🙏

I just hope the Demons don't decide to target anyone besides the "cadets," otherwise the whole thing might actually fall apart...😍
But look at me being an idiot. How is a crew like this supposed to disband? We're talking about a bunch of players who jump ship whenever it suits them, a team that loses games like they're getting shot out of a cannon, and fans traveling for games on a literal shoestring budget... Disband? 😂
Maybe I went too far there. At the end of the day, we're dealing with a slippery bunch who only exist to serve themselves. My bad. ☕

Terry Fisher49 said:isn't it 3,500?

And look, during those big rivalry games, attendance can easily blow past that number—especially when everything lines up just right. You'll see crowds pushing 4,000, but officially, the stadium capacity sits at 3,000 if you don't count the walkways between sections.☕
The Armada in Fans ·
Kenneth Campbell64 said:Are we talking 500 to 700 people? What's the actual capacity of the stands?

The whole stand holds about 3,000, but the Kop area—sectors D3 and D4—usually pulls in around 800.
The Armada in Fans ·
Three losses in a row and another lackluster performance—the hype just died out, and the stadium felt eerily empty... Toss in a pretty uninspiring opponent and a holiday weekend that kept everyone at home, and you can see why the turnout was so low. ☕
But hey, regardless of all that... Armada showed up. We had somewhere between 500 and 700 people in the Kop, and I honestly have to give props to the younger guys for pulling off their first solo choreo perfectly. 👍
The Armada in Fans ·
The Locomotive fans... they’re getting younger, and their choreography is actually hitting. First, the guys took charge. 👍

Who's a Mexican, who's a Chetnik, who's a communist, and who's just a total clown nowadays? 🤷
So, who do we actually hate more? Is it the Cleveland Guardians, or is it the Los Angeles Dodgers? Honestly, maybe we don't even hate anyone anymore...☕
So, who was playing both sides, who was dirtying their hands with one crowd, and who actually kept it straight and stayed out of the mess entirely? 🤷
One thing’s for sure... our fan club runs this town, and there isn't a force in America stronger than us.🙏

Everything going alright? Thinking about calling it a night on here...😁

I’d love to weigh in on a few things here, but since hollowtrucker77 has started posting this PDF like it's his full-time job, I think I'll just keep my thoughts to myself.☕

But honestly, most of the time it’s just a bunch of love, hugs, and kisses...😍

I don't know... I’ve always had a massive chip on my shoulder when it comes to Dinamo. It’s just a much more bitter rivalry for me. To be honest, I find the Torcida vibe a little less "likable" than the Boys—mostly because I feel like they lack objectivity and have this constant streak of arrogance, which has always rubbed me the wrong way. I end up losing my cool too, and then I’m out there making a scene all over town. 🤣

As for how we welcome those two teams... Hmm, I’m not so sure. Honestly, I think we might even go overboard with the insults aimed at Dinamo during our matchups. Man, it’s wild when I remember that time Modrić got absolutely leveled right in the center of the pitch and everything just went haywire—people were throwing stuff everywhere, even chairs. 😁

I really think people are exaggerating when they say Dinamo has an easier time in our territory than Hajduk; there's no way that's true. But I will say, Hajduk has always felt like a bit of a consolation prize to us. 😍

Hold on a second, since when are you even in my league? 😲

I mean, did your old man kick you out on the street and leave you with nothing? Pretty sure he didn't, so...☕

I guess I should be offended, since one of my buddies told me I was being a total coward today.
Honestly...🙂

Actually, I wasn't the one who got offended—it was my old man when I told him how it was.
☕
Damn. Now I'm just some outsider and a complete jerk too... What a mess.

placidfalcon4 said:Seriously though, what’s even the point of this?🤷

It was already covered over on the sports forums; you guys aren't the only victims of this absolute stupidity. It’s always the same old script: "you guys are outsiders," "we're the true locals," "they're all communists," "San Diego is just a suburb." Honestly, people like that need to get their heads checked, but instead, they should probably just unite with the rest of the working class. I don't know, man. This article is alright, but a good chunk of it feels like it's trying too hard to justify things. I’ve asked before when this crap is going to end, and the only answer I ever get is, "it stops when the guy who started it stops." And guess what? Nobody has a clue. 😁 This is easily the biggest embarrassment in American fan culture. And I truly don't give a damn if someone views this as just fans taunting each other. It’s an embarrassment to everyone.

Look, you explain the actual purpose of this article to me, and maybe I'll try to wrap my head around it. From where I'm sitting, this just looks like some attempt at making excuses. You don't honestly think people actually believe you guys are outsiders, do you? 🤷

I used to think I was a real American, and my old man backed it up with family records going back generations. ☕

Then I started going to games, and suddenly some guys from the opposing stands are trying to convince me I'm something else entirely. 🙏

So I went home to tell my dad I’d messed up—that we were basically outcasts or radicals or whatever, since it's all the same garbage...😁

My old man just looked at me like I’d lost my mind, chewed me out, and kicked me to the curb...😲

And yeah, after that, my dad basically disowned me. He just looked up at the sky and said, "Forgive him, God, because he doesn't know what he's doing"...which is funny, because my fellow fans from the other side seem to know exactly what they're doing. So sure, I guess we're all outsiders, at least according to me... at least that's what the American fans told me. ☕

George Lopez77 said:In my humble opinion, the derby in San Diego is actually a solid, tight matchup. Compared to the eternal rivalry, it’s way more fun to watch, both in person and on TV because the atmosphere actually translates. When Central Park isn't packed, you get this vibe like mid-table teams are just playing for nothing. It's a different story at our place though—when the stadium is full, it’s freaking electric. But even when we show up, even if there's maybe 2,500 of us, our section still ends up looking half-empty. The North end is almost always closed off, and lately, the lower tier hasn't been filling up well either. East and West sides aren't exactly packed most of the time either; that's just how it usually goes in NYC. If every one of our derbies was like that Feb 22nd game, it would be legendary, but in San Diego, it's a constant mix of the fan club and us, so it's always worth going down there. Maybe if the fan club filled the cage every single time, it wouldn't look so bad in St. either...

Anyway, the whole point was supposed to be about this specific angle. I honestly have no clue how the conversation got so derailed and distorted...🤷
Everyone’s got their own take on things, but trying to pick fights or act superior to how others experience it is just pointless. ☕
Sure, the eternal rivalry is the alpha and omega of everything, but the coastal derby at Santa Monica has its own unique charm and vibe 😁...No one can deny that, and nobody should try to. 🙂

wearyfalcon11 said:As far as I can tell, that "big three" group doesn't even call themselves the "big three"—they go by the "big four," and they're including Real Madrid and BBB in that mix. You really think your opinion carries more weight than theirs?
Besides, that's just how it's always been; the "big four" has been the standard for ages.

I think we had a bit of a disconnect there, but whatever. I was just being sarcastic while talking to a brick wall... Peace! 😉

First off, Dino 1989... You clearly have no idea what being an idiot actually means. Second, you don't even know how to carry on a decent debate. And third, Dino 1989... It sounds like you haven't even figured out how to handle a woman properly, which is probably why she left you in the first place. Go ahead and hit the ignore button if it makes you feel better. And honestly, we don't even think about you guys all that much. No matter how hard you try, you're just not on our level...
All that hype from the Blackwater crowd at the big game is going to vanish once they face someone like a mid-tier team from Boise in about 50 years. ☕

You've got a point there. You guys spent a long stretch of time trying to prove yourselves to the big three, didn't you?

Your effort was for nothing. You crashed and burned, and now it's all gone down the drain—just like you said, damn it...🤣

The Super Bowl isn't some new thing, and neither is Blackwater... But if everything is viewed through the lens of these arrogant teenagers who think they own the world, like drug24/7 is doing right now... then man, the Boy Scouts have their work cut out for them if they want to get back to a decent scale. I don't know, kind of like dealing with a malignant situation in Boise. 🙏
