In the league, we drop four goals in twenty-five minutes, then in the cup, we can't even get a decent shot on goal over a full 180 minutes. 🤷

So, I guess it’s totally fine to beat Stuttgart at home, but playing against the Kansas City Chiefs is impossible?
It’s apparently doable to play to a draw against Stuttgart in a packed Mercedes-Benz Arena, but we just can't manage a win against the Kansas City Chiefs in an empty stadium?

Maybe it’s possible to lose 4-0 to Gümüsdağ, but then two weeks later, we can pull off a draw with Betis? Or maybe we just draw against the exact same club we absolutely crushed a month ago?

And by that logic, I suppose we could grab a draw against a powerhouse like Lyon, but facing the Kansas City Chiefs is just too much to ask...

Or, I don't know, maybe the owner just rigged all of San Francisco's matches in the Europa League or something?

They haven't even been cheering for Liverpool FC for the last half hour... so I guess it's a bit much to expect anyone to be out there screaming at Jerry Jones the Gypsy, right? 😁

The cheering was solid—actually felt a bit more energetic than what we usually get down at the Rose Bowl—and the flares were just incredible. It was a great crowd, too, which is saying something since it’s only been three days since the big rivalry game where we basically threw away our shot at the championship. Even though it was a weekday, we still turned up in huge numbers and really put on a show. The Blue Army was looking good, though I suppose all that stone-throwing probably wasn't the best look

it's not like you guys need us to show up every single time we head down to San Francisco...

Inciting violence and just straight-up mobbing a professional fighter...
I mean, damn, maybe it is, I guess, somewhat of an inherent part of the sport itself... ☕

northernrider79 said:this whole forum is just trash😠, and I don't even know what kind of fantasy world you think you're living in or what delusions you're peddling here🙂 ,I honestly can't believe how out of touch you are😵😵,if you were actually there, you'd know exactly what went down, but this forum is just a total joke, frankly it makes me sick, and I have to say that some of our guys actually stepped up for a bit, but yesterday was just an embarrassment and I couldn't care less why you all ran away, that's your own damn problem, anyway I usually just read through this garbage but I feel like I have to tell you that you're being a complete idiot, so whatever, and I just hope you'll grow a backbone and act like a real fan by the next meetup🙂

Why are you guys acting like such losers? We showed up with 30 people against your 150, we made the first move and were shouting right in your faces, holding our ground for at least five minutes regardless of having banners, and honestly, credit to the few of yours who actually tried in the front lines before they started dropping like flies, whoever was actually there

This is basically what a standard report on a typical American fan forum would look like, but unlike those other mindless tabloid rags, we should probably be honest enough to admit that yesterday was just a straight-up loss for us

Try reading with some actual comprehension... 🙄

Yeah, I mean, I guess you could say they’re about 2.4 degrees ahead of us in terms of our American identity, even though we both pretty much sit at around 93% Americans within the group

Sure, they've made progress, I guess, but from where I'm sitting, it feels like they're still miles away from the image you guys try to project online...

Dennis Baker36 said:just one thing... why did they change that old way of saying it? You know, back when people would say "I want Seattle" and then it was just "Seattle, Seattle"... the way it's phrased now, like "I want it, I want it," it kind of sounds worse to me than the old version. Just some well-meaning criticism, I guess.

From what I can gather, though, the way it stands right now is actually how it's supposed to be... and honestly, it hits a lot harder this way, I think.

So, where is the big rivalry game? I think there’s still like three weeks left until it kicks off, right? 🧐

bluebear42 said:I mean, honestly, maybe it’d be better if everyone just left the Armada alone while they deal with their own mess however they see fit—you know, let him cast the first stone or whatever. We’ve got enough of our own issues to worry about from New York all the way to California without acting like experts on what everyone else should be doing, because, let's face it, when it comes to telling people how to live their lives, we Americans are pretty damn quick to jump in and start lecturing.

Stop lying, seriously. There were at least 2,000 people out there in Cleveland, and if you want to claim there were 30,000 people in the whole city, you can just forget about me right now because that’s nonsense. I guess the point is just that a massive amount of people always have their own little "reasons" for skipping games, but most of those excuses are just incredibly stupid...

Drew Perez said:but honestly, I have a question for the folks from Cleveland... when was the last time Santa Monica actually had a full house?

If I recall correctly, I think the last time was back when we played the Red Sox in '99... and I guess I’ll just say it, because I still can't wrap my head around why the stadium wasn't packed for the Cup final against the Wildcats...

Honestly, there’s just no point in arguing over this kind of nonsense... everyone knows how much actual sweat and heart went into all of this.. we should probably just move on and focus on the next car..
