Project: Find a Friend (Classifieds / Meetup Thread) in Psychology & Therapy ·
👋

Female, 20, college student living in Washington, D.C.

I’m looking to meet people in their 20s—though I don't mind if you're a little older, provided you still feel young at heart 😁 I'm after someone who is always down for a coffee date, a long walk, some good old-fashioned banter, or heading out on the town (it's a massive plus if you love dancing and house music)... basically, someone who appreciates reading, music, and psychology. As far as my playlist goes, I listen to pretty much everything, though lately I've been really into house, deep house, chillstep, dubstep, and pop. If you're obsessed with country music, no offense, but please spare me... (that doesn't mean you can't enjoy it, just please don't bombard me with it). I'm not really interested in mindless gossip or small talk about who's dating whom. We can get deep, or we can keep things light... after all, a smile is the best remedy for anything, isn't it? 😁
How to gain weight? in Health ·
Dana Clark64 said:Hey everyone. 🙂 I’ve got a bit of an issue. I'm 6'3" and only about 132 lbs. 🙄 Honestly, I eat a ton. Constant snacking, always hovering by the fridge, but nothing seems to stick. 😢 If anyone has tips on how to gain weight, thanks in advance.

Edit: Sorry if this is the wrong sub-forum; wasn't sure where to put this. Mods, feel free to move the thread if it's out of place. 🙂 Thanks.

It sounds like you just have a crazy fast metabolism... but then again, everyone is different, so you really need a tailored plan.
Personally, I tried this one program—it was actually designed for losing weight, but I think this guy might be able to help you out regardless. You can find more details on his website here:
Even though he focuses on weight loss here, he does create programs for gaining weight too, depending on what your specific goals are. You could even shoot him an email to ask for some advice...
Good luck. 🙂

It looks like a solid movie, and the subject matter is definitely intriguing... now I just need to sit tight and wait for a high-quality torrent to drop.😁

It seems like quite a few people aren't getting the help they need—which, honestly, is usually why we end up here in the first place. I just don't see the point in attacking someone you don't even know... If you've got someone nearby that you can't stand, maybe try venting that energy on them instead of through a screen at someone who isn't even at fault...

Let's just say this was my general vibe during the screening:

😢

Content-wise, it’s touching, inspiring, charming, pretty powerful, endlessly musical, and for the die-hard fans, it might actually be pretty devastating.

I don't even have the energy right now to go on about what a massive shame it is that those concerts in New York didn't happen. Such a total bust 😢.

The way Michael Jackson holds himself is impressive; the choreography absolutely kills; and the stage production is top-tier.

But the best part is really his musicianship and how sophisticated he is. Just listen to how he expresses himself when he's explaining things or giving directions during the rehearsals.

And so on.

There it is.

You were lucky to get to see the movie. For me, obviously, there's still no film available since I live in a tiny rural town, but oh well. I searched the internet to download it, but all I can find are cam versions, and I really don't want to watch something like that in such poor quality.
I saw the trailer and I was simply breathless—of course, it brought everything back to June 25th because I'm a huge fan and I've just adored him since the first time I heard him when I was two years old.

I can't wait to watch the film, even though I believe I'll end up looking like a sobbing mess after two hours of weeping... 🙄

Anyway, thanks for sharing your thoughts and experiences with us. 🙂
