I’m also giving the moderator a thumbs up... 👍

Usually, the admins jump on threads like this immediately and shut them down just to stop people from talking, and then you realize that moderator is being protected like a grizzly bear in Yellowstone...
Starting a thread like this usually means bad news for the moderator, so we might as well make it clear that there are plenty of us here who actually back his work...
The initial thread about Corona, before the official coronavirus pdf was released under the direction of KLCCLK, was an absolute train wreck. Honestly, it’s no surprise given the moderator's delusional takes—I still remember his infamous claim that there was a "99% chance this wouldn't turn into a pandemic"...🤣...and then he went right ahead and moderated based on those exact views.
The coronavirus pdf is actually really well-moderated, if I'm being honest. My only real gripe is that they should be handing out much harsher penalties to all those conspiracy theorists...
If you're looking to discuss conspiracy theories—any theory, really, not just stuff about the coronavirus—there's a specific PDF alternative for that. It even covers a few topics regarding the coronavirus. In my opinion, that’s where those discussions belong. We shouldn't let conspiracy theorists clutter up every other thread; if we're too tolerant of them, it's going to happen inevitably...

You're proof that the world is full of shallow people who lack actual opinions because they only follow what's considered "normal" or socially acceptable. If you go against the grain, you're suddenly enemy number one. Have you ever heard of having a different perspective? Believe me, there is so much more out there than your narrow worldview can grasp, but you're too limited by what's merely mainstream.😁

Feeling sad and anxious in Psychology ·
Don't worry, you aren't alone in this. I get that feeling sometimes too. It isn't depression—I’m actually quite cheerful when I'm out and about—but I still feel a sense of dissatisfaction. Objectively, there's no reason for it; my life is stable, with a great marriage, a wonderful kid, and steady work. Still, the feeling persists. I suspect it's just the monotony of the daily grind. Every day feels identical, like a loop repeating itself over and over. Even though my childhood wasn't perfect, I never felt this way back then.

I’ll admit, I tend to be pretty reserved with my coworkers, but I can feel that lack of connection. It gets lonely during those eight-hour shifts. Some people grab coffee together during breaks and hang out, but I’m just not the type to share my private life—I wouldn't dream of it. Still, I miss having even that basic, surface-level rapport. Right now, I don't even have that.
I'm at my wit's end with my ex in Psychology ·
I try to be understanding out of pure respect. I’m an independent woman, over 30, and already a mother myself, yet she still tries to micromanage my entire life. If things aren't done her way, she shuts down immediately. I'm honestly exhausted from constantly having to coddle her and deal with the guilt trips. She plays the martyr, making me feel like I'm always in the wrong, followed by endless criticism about everything I do. Lately, it feels like she's just hunting for reasons to fight. She scrutinizes every word I say, looking for any excuse to get upset. I don't even know how to ignore her because she's elderly, and I could never forgive myself if something happened to her. So, I call her, but when things are "fine"—meaning she isn't actively angry—she starts nitpicking every little thing. She needs to know where I am and what I'm doing at all times; I have to call her at least five times a day just to give her a full report on my life. I'm just drained. I used to defend her and try to see her side, but now I'm just burnt out and overwhelmed by her verbal outbursts. I've had enough. I just wanted to share my story. It seems I'm not alone.

I might be getting off topic here, but has anyone dealt with light spotting between periods? Just a little bit of blood. I could really use some insight.
