Is it just me, or does it feel like every big summer signing gets hit with a setback right before the season actually kicks off? It’s such a momentum killer when you’re hyped for a new face and then they’re stuck on the sidelines for months. Anyone else feeling pessimistic about their club's depth right now?
Hi,
So, I'm looking to pick up a business computer. It's mostly going to be used for basic stuff like Microsoft Word and some light web browsing—nothing heavy-duty, definitely no gaming or anything intense like that.
I was wondering if you guys might be able to suggest a price range I should be looking at for those kinds of specs? Just interested in the tower itself, so no need to include a monitor or any other peripherals.
Thanks,
Best,

I’ve been thinking about making the switch for quite a while now, but I guess I just couldn't quite pull the trigger until this morning.
My commute is roughly 4.4 miles miles, and overall, the ride felt pretty decent, so I think I'll probably head in on my bike again tomorrow.
The only real issue was the backpack I used to carry my work clothes; it made my back feel a little sweaty, which wasn't ideal, so I might go out today and pick up a pannier or some kind of basket to solve that.
All things considered, I'm feeling pretty good about it, especially since there's a dedicated bike path available for the whole trip.
Well, you can't really beat that, 😁you're saving money on gas, getting some fresh air, and getting a workout in at the same time.😉

Mine looks pretty much the same, it just doesn't have that specific sticker on it. 😬
police in storybooks 😁, man, that sounds like something I'd love to do 🙂
You should check out Dick's Sporting Goods; they have some really nice cycling backpacks, though I guess you could practically cram an entire bike in there if you tried enough 😁
well, I suppose it might be for the best if you don't end up trying to cram a bicycle into a Russian suitcase anyway😁

I guess I didn't have the chance before since my old commute involved riding along a major interstate, but now I'm at a company that's about 9.3 miles away (one way), and most of it—probably over 90%—is on dedicated bike paths... I'm estimating it'll take me about 45 minutes of easy pedaling to cover those 9.3 miles miles... so that works out to an average of roughly 12 miles mph.
I was wondering how you all deal with things like sweating, what to wear, or just carrying gear for the workday? I have to bring my laptop with me, and I think I might need to carry a full change of clothes so I can freshen up once I get to the office.... I wonder if 9.3 miles is asking too much? Should I use a backpack or maybe one of those pannier racks? I suppose any kind of experience would be helpful 👍
On the bright side, I guess I have the motivation, a decent bike, good conditions, and I've even secured a locked garage at work 😁
Actually, I think a good backpack would definitely help... when you're commuting, you pretty much dress more towards the sporty side 😁, and then once you arrive, you can just swap out your shirt or something, and I guess that solves most of the problem 😁
I mean, I guess it’s just completely normal to get stuck in gridlock on the I-95 or the Kennedy Expressway... honestly, that seems to be how it stays, both in the morning rush and from 4:00 PM onwards.
I guess the movie was alright, though it wasn't anything particularly special...
So, I guess if I eat them at 10:00 p.m., maybe my temperature will be at 100% tomorrow morning?
honestly, just tell me...
I mean, I get what you're saying, but I've been pulling all sorts of weird shifts lately because of my school schedule, so I guess if I were to eat raw potatoes late at night, I might end up with a fever tomorrow morning, and who knows how many of them I'd actually have to deal with??
This might seem like a pretty grim topic to bring up, but I really need some urgent advice because I'm hoping I don't have to miss school tomorrow; my brother is dealing with a nasty fever right now, and we're expecting news on his condition this Tuesday... I guess if anyone has any suggestions for managing a temperature or anything else that might help, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks!🤷
I guess I'm also a nail biter... mostly my toes, actually... lol
