1. curling 2. hockey 3. ski jumping (honestly, they just need to scrap the judging part—who cares about "artistic impression"? if I wanted art, I’d head to Broadway)
1. Indie kids vibing to some hip hop 2. Overalls (not the punk kind, but those cute ones with animal prints) 3. Ugly glasses with a strap around the neck
Honestly, this whole thing just drives me crazy. It always has. You know that feeling when you’re 14 and those "cool" authority figures tell you, "Oh, you have to listen to Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, the Rolling Stones, and Deep Purple," so you nod along and try to convince yourself they're amazing even though they aren't really your vibe? Well, they never pulled that trick on me with Hotel California; I was totally over it from the very first listen. Just like Dire Straits, AC/DC, and Deep Purple. Why? Who knows. It just sounds grating to my ears. It hits me like a humid heatwave. Argh! Death!

🤣
My old roommate once, totally wasted, hit on this super preppy girl while some guys were blasting Cotton Eye Joe at a bar: "What is a girl like you doing in a place like this?" And then he actually pinched her butt... wild stuff.
super American band: dark days in Vatican City. Some kind of punk, honestly pretty mediocre, but they’ve got this guy Klaus who absolutely kills it. Post-punk, obviously 🙂
They aren't emo, but they aren't punk either. Just some poser-punk vibe, like super, super unlistenable liars. The other group is either emo or indie. Emo sucks, indie rules, obviously. 😁
Man, those bands have such killer names, like: Casiotone for the Painfully Alone, Get the Hell Out of the Way of the Volcano, The Sounds of Animal Fighting, This Song is a Mess But So Am I, Theory of Abstract Light... though, honestly, my absolute favorite is still My Penis is Made of Dogshit, with that album called Satan's Pregnant Again. Yeeeessss!

Trust me, I totally get it even without needing to compare. 😍 Man, I’m being so pathetic right now! Anyway...

I'm just a little softie, so here we go. Can do! 🙂 Ever since I started dating my girl, I haven't even been looking at anyone else's abs. 😍 😍 😍 😍 😍

Man, whenever I listen to Yoshimi, Fight Test, Hypnotist, Realize, One More Robot, or All We Have Is Now, I just end up crying and crying and crying. They're technically optimistic because the message is positive, but they still hit me hard because they basically admit the world is a total mess... I don't know... man.
Here are five albums that always make me burst into tears, leaving me wanting to hug the entire damn world and tell everyone that everything is going to be just fine and there's absolutely no need to cry:
1. Neutral Milk hotel - in the aeroplane over the sea 2. Radiohead - ok computer 3. The Flaming Lips - Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots 4. Arcade Fire - Funeral 5. Belle & Sebastian - the boy with the arab strap
So, I just went ahead and downloaded the entire Funkadelic discography. Please, someone just end my misery.
Quick side note: I’ve got high-speed internet at my place right now, so I figured I'd grab some stuff. A buddy asked if I could snag some Merzbow for him, but then I stumbled upon his full catalog and just couldn't stop myself. It was like 10 gigs of pure chaos... ugh!

Oops... Well, look at that, I actually did confirm it in writing... 😳
In that case, I highly recommend it—you're gonna love it.😉
