Dealing with health anxiety/hypochondria in Health ·
First off, stop catastrophizing everything!!!! You’re just fueling your own gastritis with all this stress, and obviously, that makes you feel worse immediately.

And why on earth are you obsessing over some fatal disease? You can't control it anyway, so why waste the mental energy?

I get where you're coming from because I'm 25 and dealing with my own health issues. But getting worked up achieves absolutely nothing—in fact, it does the exact opposite by making your condition worse.

Plus, you don't need a referral for a psychiatrist. Everyone living with a chronic illness goes through this exact same thing. If you really feel like you need a professional to talk to, just go see a psychologist instead.
Best antacids for a sensitive stomach? in Health ·
I used to be totally fine with Persen, but I think I’ve just gotten used to it now. I’m probably going to have to start looking for something stronger. Sometimes a bit of peppermint tea or lemon balm helps me get through it.
We're at a total loss. What should we do? in Health ·

Has anyone actually managed to snag an appointment with an immunologist yet?
Jessica Brown7 said:We're trying to get a referral, but the doctor is dead set on thinking it isn't an immune issue, while I’m convinced it absolutely is.

Don't let them steamroll you. Honestly, I would have been showing up at her clinic every single day until she finally handed over that referral.

I dealt with a doctor just like that once. I told her my ankles were swollen every morning, so she felt them and just ordered basic blood work—sed rate and white cell counts. I eventually lost my patience and went to a different doctor instead. She ran a full panel that looked totally fine, but once I actually saw an immunologist? Turns out my immune markers were a total disaster.

So don't let them brush you off. If I had just listened to my first doctor, I still wouldn't have any idea what was wrong with me.
Did your sister ever end up seeing an immunologist?

The shots look perfect—totally original and high quality, plus the video is killer!
But man, that 12 $0.00 is way too pricey, and if you're doing 3500 light with them...
Quality isn't cheap, though! :-)
If you ask me, the only real competition is Maya P. and her crew, or maybe Six Nina studio out in Viknovac!
Good luck

I think they bumped up their rates recently, probably landing somewhere around $5000. At least, that's what my cousin told me—assuming I didn't mishear her. 🤷
President under fire for mentioning Chase online banking? in Feedback & Suggestions ·
Anonymous said:Why does a post get deleted and result in a ban just for saying that even if you use Chase online banking, you still have to physically show up in person to cancel savings that you supposedly "activated" through that same online portal?

Is it possible a moderator works at that bank or something, and they're just protecting their own? People talk about other banks too.

Is this actually a free forum, or are there certain things we aren't allowed to mention?

And yeah, this falls under legal/finance. If the post gets moved to the business section, it'll just get nuked anyway.

It's probably because you were spamming the business section—you already started three different threads with three different titles. 🙄
There's a subforum for requests, messages, and feedback where you can ask the moderators whatever you want.
Benjamin Johnson92 said:I went through something similar a few years back. The local cops treated me like I was some street dealer just because I had a bottle of Panatus cough syrup. A blood test cleared me immediately, obviously, so no charges were filed—but naturally, I didn't get an apology either.

Interesting:

Good luck!

I actually use half the stuff mentioned in that link quite regularly. I take a B-vitamin capsule every single day, and honestly, whenever I'm out grabbing coffee, I usually stick to a Schweppes bitter lemon. I wouldn't mind if they pulled me over next time. 😲
Mosquito bites and stings in Health ·
Man, mosquitoes have been acting like total bloodsuckers lately. It used to be that a bite would clear up in a day or two, but now I’m dealing with them for a whole week, and the welts get as big as a quarter. Honestly, they probably turned into little vampires from all those massive chemical sprays they've been doing everywhere.
