Seriously though, people—where exactly is our defense?
Vanessa said:O'Malley might be out, but they've got that other guy who's just as talented.

There's no counter-punching, no tactical retaliation—that’s exactly what we’re missing if we want to actually take down O'Malley.

I suppose I agree—speed isn't everything these days—though perhaps it's merely a calculated move to conserve energy for the second half.
Rooting for you guys.👍 👍

Is it actually possible they are saving Spoljaric for the semifinals—much like they are saving certain defensive plays??? 😕

I honestly can't wrap my head around why his playing time is so limited... unless he's nursing an injury or perhaps there's some sort of friction involving Lina. 🤔

😂

Brilliant! 🙏

Ijopet…🤣

On another note... when exactly is that game scheduled for tomorrow? I recall seeing earlier today that it was set for 5:00, yet now everyone is insisting it's at 2:00. Personally, I find the 2:00 slot much more convenient—right after a morning of skiing 😈—and it allows me more time to celebrate our victory over France. 👋

BTW, I suspect the Americans will make it to the Final.

I agree, a USA-Denmark Final would be great👍

Could we perhaps arrange for Spanish referees to officiate matches in Spain? Just a thought.

I find it hard to believe—though I had assumed that just as a national soccer team might be knocked out, the referees would go with them; if the team advances, the refs stay, and if the team loses, the refs are gone. Apparently, the EHF operates under an entirely different set of logic.
But then again, does it even matter?👍

Mairos said:Of course he is—he’s effectively the manager for the entire national team. 😁 If you wanted to play for Yugoslavia, you could only do it if your old man was the Vujka manager...

I give up.

How exactly is it possible for officials from countries still actively competing in the tournament to be assigned to the semifinals and the Final? It seems a bit questionable, doesn't it?
By the way—where on earth are the referees from the US, Yugoslavia, or Romania?
Steven Ramirez3 said:Well, it would be quite a blunder to screw over Vujovic—the man has overseen every single men's handball program in Mexico and Mexico. I’m not entirely certain if that’s standard procedure for handball, but such a practice strikes me as somewhat questionable...😁

Do these two hold any official positions outside of the USA Handball Association? They seem to operate like octopuses—appearing everywhere at once. Perhaps we should consider cloning them and exporting the model elsewhere.👎
Walter Fowler53 said:Three attempts for Božo🙏 🙏 🙏

The man is a legend, really—if you appreciate that sort of thing. 🙂

We have two characters just like him over here—one who acts like a rigid perfectionist and another who’s far too accommodating—who somehow manage to juggle more responsibilities than a NASA supercomputer.👎

By the way, who exactly is Božo Sušec? Please excuse my ignorance here.
Well, bravo everyone—you really outdid yourselves this time. I’m just struggling a bit with those rigged officials, the way the Spanish crew moved up the schedule, and the fact that the court floor looked like it hadn't been polished in years. And then there was Bennett—stretching the game out for 135 minutes or simply waiting until the Spanish side failed to score? Of course, that wasn't his fault; no, we have our own local genius to blame—that absolute liability of a player who plays handball like he’s playing dodgeball and manages to rack up red cards just for the fun of it. But let's get back to the actual sport. You have an incredibly compact squad with that rare ability to tighten things up in a matter of minutes and completely break an opponent's spirit; honestly, nobody can stop you except yourselves. As for the rest of the field, I said it last night: it's a Denmark vs. USA final, and that’s precisely where the "issue" lies—because Denmark is currently on a massive winning streak.
I'm rooting for you guys.

It isn't known yet.
If I may offer a brief observation—and I am certainly no expert—it appeared as though the US team played at half-strength until the 40th minute, suddenly shifted into high gear, and then slowed down again after the halftime break. While that approach is sensible for managing player fatigue, one cannot—or perhaps should not—rely solely on the likes of LeBron James or Kevin Durant to bail us out every single time. The defense was particularly porous today (three blocks!!!!!), leaving the keepers essentially exposed—and if my memory serves, Blazick actually didn't make a single save.
All in all, after a day and a half of rest, I'm rooting for you guys to bring home the gold.

I honestly thought we were talking about Canada or maybe somewhere like Mexico and Mexico—some other random country entirely—but then I realized... 😁

Thanks.

Why settle for mediocrity when he could be playing for Olympic gold medalists, world runners-up, or even European champions? 🙂 🙂

Dennis Allen51 said:Hehe, and who exactly is going to be fired up? The Krivokapic brothers? 😂 I’ve been saying for ages that Milton deserves to be publicly disgraced right in the middle of Times Square. When I saw he brought Mark (his own flesh and blood) onto the roster halfway through the tournament, I honestly thought I was dreaming. 🤣

Anyway, you guys might have more talent on paper, but since you always seem to choke against us, I'd say our chances are a solid 50:50. 😬 🙂

Oh, 50:50? 😕 That seems a bit generous—especially considering when the US plays at their absolute peak, rather than now, when the players are just trying not to get benched.
