I sent him an email two months ago... still nothing

It’s my own fault for expecting him to sound anything like the Palace Brothers tonight—the reality is he’s touring with session players rather than a cohesive band. That just proves he’s better in the studio; live shows don't leave room for those layered production touches. I know people had a blast, but honestly, I've seen much better Americana shows over the last few years... take Grandfalloon Bus, who are coming back through in June, or Nina Nastasia for that matter.

I don't know... I'll have to check
but if they're planning on making it another tribute act like last time—I'm not so sure about that...

Also, any idea when these albums will actually show up on Soulseek?

Oh, please... this was one of those spectacular wipeouts that usually ends without much consequence—those damn falls from five to seven are where the actual danger lies...

Watch out for those road crews—if you can even call them that. I just wiped out again because of a pothole on Broadway that was easily eight inches deep and two feet wide. Honestly, thank God my backpack was stuffed to the brim; it actually cushioned the impact from the pavement. Otherwise, I'm done.
