06/20/03: Biafra Appeal Denied in Lawsuit Filed by Other ex-Dead Kennedys
We’re stunned. The California State Court of Appeals just denied our appeal via an unpublished opinion—sending the whole mess back to San Francisco Superior Court for additional hearings. This isn't a win for the opposition; these upcoming hearings actually provide us the platform to establish the facts—facts that directly contradict the claims made by the other ex-Dead Kennedys. Regrettably, this fight is nowhere near finished. We aren't backing down. Stay tuned.

Senad’s photos are top-tier and the band is excellent—we actually tried to get them back out here, but as you can clearly see from what's attached, they only tour Southern and Western Europe...
Yeah, I just finished talking with the manager for Dalek about a show in mid-June... she showed up with some friends from the Contriva group and they're great... says the feedback from musicians after playing shows in Chicago was so good that they've decided to start sending all their bands our way... we also have Kid 606 coming through in September.
The album was slated for an Earwing release last fall—but after bara left, Earwing basically stopped handling any publishing at all. I have no clue what their current status is, but we are reaching out to get them to play a set at Kset on May 17th. They’ll be sharing the stage with Bambi Molesters, Peach pit, FNC Diverzant, and Man Zero. It’s going to be one of two nights dedicated to bara—the second one goes down at The Swamp the following day.
banderas, I’m not going to weigh in on those Pink Floyd tribute shows—that kind of music does absolutely nothing for me, let alone interest me... so it would be nice if you’d also refrain from commenting on Peach Pit, seeing as I assume their sound doesn't excite you any more than it interests you...
Kevin Chavez3 said:Men, they were never exactly geniuses—though I still don't get those pop-synth bands everyone obsesses over. Give me some gritty, raw American garage rock any day.
Have you even seen them live? You clearly haven't if you're calling it "pop-synth"...
They played at the local dive bar yesterday alongside the Capitol City Dusters and they were absolutely incredible—the new material completely blew me away. A top-tier band in every sense of the word.
So, finally someone realized that the music this girl finds so irritating actually originates from India... does that make you sick of Indians too, Bitter?
Back in Chicago, you had Damir Tiljak and that whole garage band scene revolving around Dražen Valentic... damn, I can't even recall what their "outfits" were actually called...
