Well, this is a total disaster... where can you actually find somewhere to hang out in this city after midnight? 🙄 I’m honestly getting a bit tired of The Roxy. It feels like I'm seeing the same crowd every single night, all rushing the stage at once whenever those same old songs start playing—which, let's be honest, they play constantly. And yet, despite all that, you still end up there because there isn't much else to do, and staying home just doesn't sound appealing. I've realized that if I stay sober, I can barely last thirty minutes before heading back home, unless I grab a drink to make the whole thing bearable again (depending on how much cash I have left). And of course... you get home looking like you just crawled through a swamp. Someone always manages to spill a beer on you, too. You have to throw everything straight into the wash immediately. Ugh. 🙄 I don't have a single ounce of punk spirit left in me. 😬

You were at my Siouxsie Sioux and the Banshees video session, if I remember correctly... and not enough people showed up. Who knows how many would come to a women's session, but I'm planning on it regardless. It was supposed to be this month, but I stepped aside for some colleagues, so now I'm waiting for the next opening. It won't be anytime soon since the schedule is packed through the 11th, 12th, and almost all of next month. Plus, I want to gather more material to play. Any suggestions? Feel free to throw anything my way that you think would be cool for a listening session 😉
Regarding Hannah Montana, I've only listened to 🙏 "carnival of justice" and "girls that glitter"... I really need to fix that mistake and go grab the rest of the album ASAP...
By the way, has anyone checked out Carina Round? What do you think? I listened to a few tracks and then practically begged someone to download her whole discography for me, but I ended up getting into a huge argument with them in the middle of it. So... no Carina for me since I'm avoiding that person right now.😬
@Adam Lewis23/">@@Adam Lewis23, I can't even remember which door you walked through or which locker room you were in. 😁 It was that cafeteria/locker room area, if I recall correctly... and honestly, I don't know about those girls, but none of the worse ones really caught anyone's eye. They were all pretty upbeat and lively. 🙂
But hey, life isn't always easy...
It wasn't easy for me either, having to clean up everyone else's mess just to make a buck. But what can you do? Someone had to step up. 😉

If you only knew what people put the staff through at the coat check... every five minutes someone walks up and asks for their hat but not their jacket, or they want their scarf but want to swap jackets, and then everyone else is just standing around fuming because they have to wait. Plus, people seem to think the girls working the desk are there just to be hit on or whatever. If it were up to me, I'd put a security guard next to every single station just to shut down anyone brave enough to bother them... I'd personally step in, though I'm not quite strong enough yet😁 and then they lose their tickets (people can't even manage to hold onto a single scrap of paper <sorry Robert Wright4>) and start digging through coats... so now, good luck trying to prove he actually grabbed his own jacket instead of stealing someone else's. It's a mess.
