Boot the computer using a live Linux CD—something like Linux Mint, Ubuntu, or Knoppix, I guess—and then just check if the entire hard drive actually shows up. 🙂

It’s probably struggling with the integrated graphics and the fact that the RAM is barely sufficient—especially since the integrated chip takes a chunk of that memory for itself. 😢
On that machine, Windows XP would probably run just fine. 🙂
Ever since I switched over to Windows 7 32-bit, my setup has been running like this (2x2 GB 800MHz DDR2 4.00GB RAM (3.25 Usable)). Honestly, I don't really have any intention of jumping over to a 64-bit version anytime soon, mostly because the computer seems to be working perfectly fine without any issues. 🙂
Look, if you're planning on doing a clean install of Windows 7 using a DVD, you just need to burn one of these two options from the ISO file onto the disc. Grab the x86 version if you want the 32-bit OS, or go with the x64 if you're aiming for 64-bit. As for the crack, I guess you can just run that directly from your hard drive later on.
I mean, obviously, installing from a USB drive is going to be slower than using a DVD. You usually only bother with the USB route if you don't have a DVD drive or if yours is acting up anyway.

So, from what I gather, you're trying to hook this thing up to your computer via a USB cable. If that’s the case, you'll definitely need to get the right drivers installed first. To figure out which ones you actually need, I'm going to need a bit more info—specifically, what kind of printer we're dealing with (manufacturer and model) and which OS you're running. 🙂
You're being a little vague here. Are you looking to install Windows 7 alongside your existing XP setup so you've got both operating systems running on the machine, or...
If they hadn't axed those two experimental HD channels, you might actually have something worth watching. Honestly, I'd just list it on Craigslist for someone who spends their time trying to pick up signals from Canadian networks. 🙄
