Probably because life is actually decent in places like Chicago, Detroit, or NYC, where people actually have work ethic and at least pretend to follow the law. You head down south toward cities like Atlanta or New Orleans, and the local crime families basically run the show more than the cops do. I even read somewhere that these mobs post hit lists of "troublesome" officers right out in the open. It's like something straight out of a bad situation in Mexico. The folks up North are fed up with dealing with all that mess, which is likely why they want out. But honestly, it’s not happening... there's just no momentum behind it.
Well, those family-run crime syndicates wield immense power in the USA as well, and they've managed to embed themselves quite deeply into the halls of government...

Hannibal Rising (2007)

Heh, personally, I consider the Disney masterpiece to be an absolute work of art—anyone who has seen "When Little John Falls Silent" and the subsequent entries knows this—but I would argue that "Hannibal Rising" serves as that one vital, indispensable piece of the puzzle we needed to truly grasp the psyche behind why Hannibal turned out the way he did...

Anonymous said:The title of this movie, "Scarface," is absolutely chilling. From a viewer's perspective, it’s actually pretty solid, especially how they depict a cold-blooded Hannibal coming to terms with his past following World War II. It starts with some terrifying stuff where thugs break into his house—his parents tragically lose their lives during an encounter with some soldiers during a sweep. But getting back to those thugs... they weren't there for three days straight, right? It seems like some of the soldiers went out hunting, but once hunger set in, things turned gruesome and they ended up killing his sister. OMG. On a psychological level, the movie is just devastating. I'm curious, have you guys seen it yet? Let me know what you thought about it!
It wasn't just random soldiers, either; they were local traitors, war profiteers, and scavengers... The movie truly turns stomach-turning toward the end when we realize that even Hannibal participated in eating his own sister along with those subhuman creatures...

I find myself wondering where all those loudmouths who spent their time bashing the police have scurried off to now that the star player has been traded... the answer is they've vanished into thin air, practically invisible... 😂 Who was actually stepping up to complain back then, and more importantly, who were they even complaining to? That was real law enforcement we were seeing, not this modern era where nobody is allowed to lift a finger; it’s honestly quite pathetic...😂

I was exaggerating there, though I suppose that’s how it looks—following some sort of twisted, nonsensical logic where you should probably just get hammered before committing a crime just to lighten your sentence... It's a bit absurd when you really sit down and think about it, isn't it?🙄

Section 41.
A perpetrator is not considered legally insane if they voluntarily brought themselves into a state where they couldn't understand the nature of their actions or lost control of their will due to alcohol, drugs, or other substances—provided that at the moment they entered that state, the crime they committed was something they intended to do or showed a reckless disregard for, assuming the law provides for punishment under that specific type of culpability.
It’s not even a matter of being a bad person, it’s more like when things just go completely sideways out of nowhere—as the old saying goes, everything just falls apart...🙂 truly tragic, truly tragic...

an intoxicated individual actually poses less of a threat than someone who is stone-cold sober
Well, I suppose that all depends on whether or not they are carrying a weapon, because if you have some drunk person running around with a handgun spraying bullets in every direction, the courts might actually try to pass off their intoxication as a mitigating factor—claiming they weren't in their right mind or whatever—but honestly, give me a break. Our entire judicial system and sentencing guidelines are such an absolute farce that it feels like something straight out of Monty Python; it really isn't any surprise that you see graffiti mocking the American legal system everywhere you look.👎

I didn't find this particular film to be half bad, though I must say, the way he just absolutely mangled that poor little tooth fairy character was quite something to witness...👍

It is truly fascinating to observe such a compelling antagonist, particularly when you consider Gary Oldman’s performance in Leon (The Professional)... Once he pops those pills and begins to adopt that particular psycho expression, it becomes quite intense...😂 😂 😂 ...

I also found myself feeling completely repulsed during > when that guy was busy robbing those poor souls alongside that high-strung woman, right up until the moment > finally "brought him back to reality"... honestly, my only regret is that he didn't just finish him off right then and there. I can't quite put my finger on it, but I just have this deep-seated dislike for that actor; it likely stems from the fact that he reminds me of some absolute jerk I had to deal with back in elementary school...

Fuj, just a typical sleazy British type; I found him absolutely revolting in the movie Rob Roy starring Liam Neeson.

There is simply no substitute for hard work; it’s an old adage, but it holds true, isn't it? While the initial phase is undeniably grueling, I have found through years of trial and error that sheer persistence and disciplined effort eventually make the process feel much more manageable... you just have to grit your teeth and commit to the task at hand. When you begin, I would suggest attempting even half-reps—don't bother straining for full range of motion right away, nor should you attempt to go excessively high. Instead, try to hold that tension in the mid-position, where your abdominal muscles, and honestly, even your lower jaw, will remain constantly engaged. If you maintain that specific isometric tension throughout the set, I promise you will truly feel the burn in your core. Once you find your rhythm and realize the movement has become too easy, or if you feel like you aren't actually hitting the target muscle groups, you can always progress by adding some weight plates to your chest...👍

It is an excellent piece of cinema; if you have seen his previous work, his motivations become entirely transparent, because how could he be any other way after they slaughtered his sister—and let's not forget he actually resorted to consuming her just to survive when there was nothing else left to eat... I should probably mention that Lady Murasaki is absolutely stunning, though it is worth noting the actress playing the Japanese woman is actually the Chinese star Gong Li...
They managed to take cover before the deep freeze set in, which explains why the bloating occurs; the decomposition process had already started before the frost hit, much like how that squirrel was already infested with worms when that little man brought it in. If winter had arrived just a few days earlier, they might have ended up with a stew made from that American tank commander—the one who downed the fighter jet while the rest of the squadron escaped—and Hannibal's parents, but then I suppose the movie wouldn't make any sense at all...
I find myself in agreement with this point... certain parts feel a bit forced. But taking everything into account, it isn't a bad film, even if I can't quite wrap my head around why they felt the need to kill off the little girl when there were plenty of bodies lying around the house...

Have you actually put it to use in a real-world scenario yet? I have, and honestly, I'm curious about what kind of impact you saw from it. Was it just a single, decisive knockout blow, or did you find yourself needing to land several more to get the job done?
