Man, I'm digging up this old thread I can't find that "scrapbook" extension anywhere... all I'm getting is some random forum topic about scrapbooking, but nothing for actually grabbing web pages
I really need this thing because I gotta show some websites to my aunt—she doesn't have any internet on her computer—so I figured I'd just save the pages on mine and dump them onto a thumb drive for her.
So I'm looking at that link but honestly, I don't see the actual graphics card listed anywhere It just says "HD" which, I mean, there's no way that's the name of a GPU, right?

Honestly, your best bet is just hunting down a GPU specifically for that model on eBay. If you find a used one for like $33 bucks or whatever, go for it.

The thing is, I've been scouring Google and I can't find any actual specs on this specific graphics card anywhere.
So I've got this old laptop lying around Dell Inspiron 15 where the screen is totally trashed, but honestly, it runs fine if I just hook it up to an external monitor. Then, out of nowhere, my neighbor hands me this "Dell Inspiron 15" thing, and man, I think the GPU is toasted. Like, whenever I try to power it up—whether it's plugged in or on battery—nothing happens. No lights, no fan noise, just a completely black screen. I took it to a repair shop, and they're telling me it’s probably a dead graphics chip and that it's basically a lost cause because fixing it would cost way more than the machine is worth. So now I'm wondering... is there any chance I could just rip the GPU out of my old laptop and slap it into this one? The big headache is that I can't find any decent specs online for either of these models to see if the graphics cards are even compatible. Anyone here know anything about this or willing to help a guy out?
Alright, I get what you're saying, but I'm still stuck on this for next time... if I ever need to whip up an ISO file (for a game or whatever), why does it end up being in a rar format instead of just a straight-up ISO ? Like, I definitely remember getting actual, legit ISO files last year, but honestly, I can't even remember which program I was using to do it.
Look, I need this because I'm trying to make a bootable USB so I can actually install Windows from a thumb drive instead of messing around with discs. The instructions say I gotta grab Rufus and an ISO image of Windows to get it done Since I’ve just got the Windows files sitting on a DVD right now, I guess I need to pack them all into an ISO format first
So, I'm trying to rip an ISO file from my Windows 10 installation DVD using “PowerISO”. I mean, I followed every single step exactly like they told me to, but for some reason, the file I ended up with is just a RAR archive. I have no clue why the hell it isn't showing up as an actual ISO format. And get this—it’s the exact same crap happening when I try using “ImgBurn”; I just keep getting a RAR file over and over again.
So I just got this email and there's an .ODT file attached to it. And honestly? I can't open the damn thing. I tried downloading some ODT viewer, but every time I try to load it, it just says "failed." Like, seriously? Then I went ahead and tried converting it to a Google Doc using http://www.zamzar.com, but even that's a total bust—it converts it, sure, but it just gives me a completely blank page. I have zero clue what program was used to make this file, or how the hell I'm supposed to actually see what's inside.
Opera is my go-to browser, so whenever I double-click an HTML file, it pops right up in Opera without any issues. But man, it’s driving me absolutely crazy—I've got this huge Word doc filled with all these saved links, and every single time I click one, it forces them open in Internet Explorer instead. It’s such a massive pain. How do I actually force my computer to just use Opera for those links?
I'm really not feeling like installing Firefox right now, just because... I don't know. Does anyone know if there's maybe some kind of plugin for Chrome (or Opera) that does the same thing?
So, how do I actually grab a from onto my PC? Like, I can stream the song and whatever, but I have zero clue how to actually download it. If anyone out there knows the drill, please just explain it to me.
So, I just finished reinstalling Windows 10 and now I'm running into this weird issue that wasn't even happening before. I've got the registered version of "RegClean Pro" and I ran a scan on my rig. Once it finishes listing all the errors, I go ahead and click fix issues but then this message pops up: "Administrator privileges are required for this action. You do not have sufficient access privileges to perform this action” Does anyone actually know what's going on here or how the hell I can fix it?
So, I’m thinking about splitting my hard drive into three separate partitions because I want to dual-boot Windows 7 and Windows 8 —putting each one on its own partition, obviously—but I’ve got zero clue how much space I should actually carve out for them. Any advice?
Is there like some kind of site out there where I don't need to sign up for an account or anything? I just want to send an old movie over to a buddy without some moderator breathing down my neck and checking everything I upload first.
Look, I don't really need some fancy PDF creator or whatever when it's already a PDF file. What I'm actually trying to do is just grab a few specific pages out of that PDF and save them off as their own separate file.
