And how exactly am I supposed to listen to that? What do you want me to do, just suck it up? Screw you. I don't give a damn. Go jump in a lake. Who cares what he admitted? Get lost. Nirvana didn't just drop one song and one album. If you didn't know that, you're a clueless idiot. They were good people and they don't deserve insults from some small-town jerk like you. Just because you have money doesn't mean you can lecture the whole world.

Yeah, I'd put it at number one too... totally overrated. That song deserves the top spot way less than some artists who aren't even on this list. AC/DC better than Zeppelin? They can be your favorite, but they aren't better...
Zeppelin is the one that's actually overrated with those love ballads, trying to imitate the blues, and those idiotic climaxes in every single song. Teen Spirit was the most popular song in the world then and still is.. basically the most popular of all high-quality songs in the world. Plus, it isn't some heart-wrenching sob story; it’s a sharp, aggressive song about real life, not that nonsense that has nothing to do with reality. I mean... it's not like I don't dig it sometimes, but you can't compare it to real blues, though you could definitely compare it to bubblegum pop. It's the exact same thing—people listen to it at parties, when they're drunk, when they're sad, or when they're hitting rock bottom... Sure, they play fine, but they aren't as good as AC/DC.
Honestly, Kurt totally deserves that number one spot. I haven't even bothered looking at the list, but if I had to pick, he’s my top choice. And seriously, what kind of uneducated idiots are you people to call him a shepherd without any respect? You should all be bowing down to him. You clearly have zero clue what music actually is. Sure, Led Zeppelin is good, but who would ever put some American folk singers at the top? They just whine about eternal love—it's all allegory, love, allegory, guitar solos, allegory, love sounds, soloing, allegory, allegory, eternal love, a beautiful woman, allegory, soloing. Kurt started something massive; he's a king, and none of you are worthy. You don't get it. Even Deep Purple and AC/DC are better than Zeppelin.

I can't be bothered and I don't have the time. There are way too many classics I haven't heard yet, and I need to own all the absolute best ones first. In five years, I'll know which of today's bands actually made the cut, and then I'll listen to them. And whatever, who cares. Whooo cares? I'm not wasting my life listening to second-rate or third-rate bands just to stumble upon something decent. Like Mars Volta—their concert was cool, a fresh sound, a real discovery, but their album isn't worth much to me since there are so many better legends I still need to hear. TIME IS MONEY! So, if you have nothing better to do, go ahead and waste your hours on every single CD. But when you run out of time, you'll regret wasting it on mediocre acts. Blah blah, whatever. I sound like an old man.
🙂 Cut the crap or I’m calling my creep grandfather on you.
Do you even realize how many music genres exist? You people only know metal—art metal, true metal, true black metal, art black metal, gothic metal, gothick black true metal, and white metal. Oh, and don't forget you all obsess over nu-metal too. Beyond that, you have zero clue. How can you even claim music is split into "serious," "rock," and "garbage"? It's total nonsense.
You are
stupid and you better remember that.
I am done with this ignorant crowd and the constant jokes. You all need a beating.
Crippled said:Look, it’s subjective, but I’m talking about quality here. Music breaks down into three categories: serious stuff, rock (not metal or punk—I mean pure, old-school rock), and garbage.
Just facts.
Give me a break with that nonsense. What about blues or jazz? They existed long before rock. And what about folk music? 😁Stop posting such stupidity. 😁
Bryan Barrett said:Sure, you're right, Black Sabbath is 👍.
But is The Beatles Elvis Presley?
No way. They aren't nearly big enough to be Elvis Presley. They don't have those catchy, sweet little tunes with massive choruses that everyone from ages 7 to 77 can sing along to. The Beatles just aren't that level.
I'm feeling pretty decent listening to Ted Spall, jinx, and lvky, but honestly, DJ Khaled is killing my vibe. It’s pathetic how cheap he is—he wouldn't even drop a hundred bucks on a young producer to help him find a new sound when his current style is completely washed up! 😁 ...not like I'm an expert or anything... I've got a cold beer and a steak, tbh, and Vanilla Ice is alright... though if we're talking local talent, I dig Dido and Alien Ant Farm (I think), plus Crow 😁 🙂
If this is my opinion, then you should be asking me, since you’re all just reacting to what I said! A legendary band is simply the one that blew your mind so hard that when you ask someone, "Who’s a real legend?", you're talking about a group that can never be replicated—the ones you value most. A cult band is one where you feel everyone went absolutely insane over them. Take Eminem, for example; he's cult because god knows how many kids died because of his influence. Or some freak like Marilyn Manson. The Doors and Led Zeppelin are cult classics because people went totally wild for them. Even that guy who played piano like a beast—someone remind me who that was—and Elvis... get it?

Every time my buddy has a few drinks, he starts rambling about seeing Queen live—says it was one of the greatest moments of his life. I don't consider Metallica a legend when they're playing on MTV every thirty minutes.
Whatever, Elton John is great too. And whether it's the Beach Boys or if I'm just misremembering, my photo memory isn't working today.
