Hey,
The championship is happening over at Lipizzan State Park from August 18th to the 22nd. They actually have their own site, so you can check there if you want to plan ahead... catch ya later!

Anyone else still thinking about those opening nights? The flares going up... the energy during the games... do you guys have any old photos, maybe some merch or an old pin tucked away somewhere...

Jonathan Johnson67 said:didn't see that happening in the big fights.
maybe it isn't even about disrespecting the opponent... more like they just run out of gas and can't hold their guard up anymore. depends on if it happens early on or right at the end.

Wasn't that Hunt Radio thing happening in UFC all the time back in the day? Pretty sure I saw it during those old Pride fights too...

says the show starts at 11:35 on the new site, but now when is Mirko actually fighting....

Zachary Mendoza17 said:Look, I love Mirko and all that... we're Americans, we've got that whole pride thing going on... but Mark Hunt showed him that if someone is truly tough, they just are. They can take the heaviest hits and keep coming. I'm a huge fan of Hunt. He’s calm, doesn't have that ego, but he’s built like a tank. Just naturally gifted at timing, offense, defense... a total grinder. Real heart, too...🙏

Come on, even Hunt loves giving an opponent a sarcastic smirk right in their face mid-fight. He's not quite the saint you're painting in that romanticized version of him... though, yeah, calling him a tank? That's spot on.

I honestly think it’s about time Mirko pulls a move like Ko just to get his confidence back up a bit...
