Looking for a specialist... in Health ·
Does anyone have a recommendation for a good GP near Borovje Health Center or over in Savica?

It makes sense now. 😁 You’re absolutely right; it didn't occur to me that we wouldn't need two separate Zaba fans, but your point about them trying to squeeze extra fees out of us for something useless is spot on. 😬

Thanks again. 🙂

I hear you, 🙂, but I’m still struggling to wrap my head around how my current checking account stays mine based on what the folks at Chase told me. Are you suggesting they'll just "repurpose" my existing account into a joint one? So he gets full control, and I get access to his through my own account? Then I give him access to mine for $0.67/month, and we both just use the perks since I'd be an authorized user on his side?

My apologies, I know I'm making this complicated. It's just that whenever I ask anything at Chase, they don't actually answer the question; they just try to upsell me on the most expensive services. Of course, that's business, but their website and fee schedules aren't exactly clear on these specifics.

Thanks anyway. 🙂

True, but I need my own checking account. It seems like the only way is to hire an active assistant and give them power of attorney, which would run us about $15 a month. According to the staff, family bundles are the only ones offering two separate accounts, but the standard ones for $20 don't come with a Zaba fan or free transactions... I was just wondering how others manage that specific setup.

Back again. 😬

Right now, I’m looking at the Chase Premier package. My son just graduated and landed a job. Since I'm between roles, we're thinking about a little swap: he takes the Premier account to cover his Master's expenses, and in exchange, I get power of attorney over his checking and credit accounts. Meanwhile, I’ll grab an Active Assistant plan because having access to Chase and Bank of America is non-negotiable for me. From what I’ve read, the monthly fee for power of attorney on an account is roughly $0.67. Not a huge deal.

How did you all handle joint family accounts? I looked into the Family bundle, but they don't offer Bank of America there (you can top it up, I guess), and they don't include free transactions. Everything else is in the Family Plus tier, but that costs $40/month, which is way too steep.

So, we both need checking, access to Chase and BofA, power of attorney, and transaction coverage—plus his Mastercard. I asked my advisor at Chase for a recommendation, and naturally, they tried to push the Family Plus version on me. The most expensive option. 😁

Thanks so much, I think I'll head over to them to get some more info. 🙂

I wasn't even thinking about the discount; I'm not particularly fond of the USA anyway. I have Allianz, and I noticed it would cost me nearly $67 more than last year. Is that just because I turned 26? Apparently, I should start looking into those roadside assistance programs. Fine. 🙂

I’ve been shopping around for the best AO rates over the last few weeks. Honestly, it feels like everyone is charging pretty much the same; there aren't any real deals out there, unless you count the 5% discount for paying in cash.

I haven't filed any claims, so I'm sitting at a 50% bonus. I usually opt for the extra hail and glass coverage plus a $100k/$200k accident limit, and the price stays roughly the same regardless of the provider.$800. 🤷

State Farm offers some discounts at certain retail stores, which gives them a slight edge, but otherwise, nothing really stands out.

Thanks. Before you said that, I figured I'd just get a Master card to be safe, but it’s definitely too much effort $20 right now. I'll just hire an assistant instead. 🙂

It doesn't seem worth it to me. 😢

My checking account card works perfectly fine for online shopping. I'm only paying maybe 2. a month for it. I don't really need a 2. VISA, though I figured if it was included in the package, it might be handy to have just in case. That Visa card seemed decent because of the extra insurance coverage... plus, with that active assistant feature $10, the 35 with the checking account makes it feel like $8.25 there isn't much difference compared to the Visa card, which offers quite a bit more...

I've looked into other banks, but I've always been with JPMorgan Chase and I'm used to them; the others don't offer perks that seem as useful. When I add up everything I actually need, it ends up being more expensive anyway.

😳

Question. I’m still using a Student account, and honestly, it feels wrong to "cheat" them since I graduated ages ago... they aren't checking, but I'm neither a student (to reiterate) nor do I want any legal headaches down the road.

What should my next move be? Online and mobile banking are non-negotiable. I looked into their various tiers and assistants, and here's my takeaway: the basic assistant package is $10, while the premium tier is twice as expensive. However, for that extra $10, the premium version includes a checking account, a no-annual-fee Mastercard, enrollment fees, all those insurance perks, and free transactions. There’s also a perk for home loans, which would be useful in a few years...

So, if I pair the basic assistant with a checking account, it comes to $12, leaving a gap of $8.25. On the other hand, I could just get the Mastercard, which essentially means paying an annual fee through that $8.25 difference... if you catch my drift.

Basically—based on what you've seen, do you think it's worth upgrading?

Thanks in advance. 🙂

I’m no longer a student, so I need to switch over to a different account type or plan.

The main thing for me is whether my checking and savings account numbers stay the same. I have several recurring transfers set up on my checking account that I don't want to mess with.

Also, how do they actually verify student status? My boyfriend has to provide a transcript from his university every single year, yet I haven't been asked for anything in five years.

🤷

Thanks. 🙂
Maria Fisher46 said:Madam,

You haven't provided the units or the reference ranges for these parameters. If T4 and T3 are measured in nmol/L, the standard ranges would be 62.6-150.8 nmol/L for T4 and 0.89-2.44 nmol/L for T3. In that case, the results fall within the normal range.

Furthermore, you didn't mention any symptoms or why you had this testing done in the first place.

Overall, the results seem fine. However, we have discussed this quite a bit in the thyroid thread. There is a trend here in the United States toward lowering the upper limit of what is considered "normal" TSH. While many still consider up to 5 mIU/L to be acceptable, some physicians—particularly in private practice—are already shifting their clinical approach based on lower thresholds. We could delve deeper into that over in the Thyroid discussion if you wish.

Based on our current Guidelines, these findings are normal.

edit: I see I missed the antibodies. Without knowing the units or the reference intervals, I cannot comment on those.

Best regards. 🙂

Thanks in advance. I read through that thread, but clearly failed to realize that reference ranges are individual. I posted my actual results in the thyroid topic; perhaps you could provide some insight there instead.

Much appreciated. 🙂
Hello everyone. I could use some insight regarding my thyroid panel. This was my first round of testing due to some suspected issues, though the results look fine to me.

TSH 4.75
T4 77.5
T3 1.1
Anti-TG Anti-TPO
Thanks in advance.

Alright, I’m hitting the next level in almost two months! 😍
I suspect any number of cosmetic procedures or a breast augmentation might have helped.

Anyway... is there anyone kind enough to send me the goals for level 50 and beyond? 🙂

How is everyone doing? Are you guys playing? I’ve been logging in every day just to grind BA and feed my Bill Gates and pet, but it’s all pretty routine. 😢
Where to get good passport photos? in Miscellaneous ·
I have a photo on my passport from earlier this year where my hair is tied back. Since passport requirements are much more stringent due to biometric standards, I assume my state ID should match.
I tend to switch up my hair color and style quite often, so there’s really no point in posing with loose hair when nobody knows how I’ll look in a few months.
At the end of the day, the whole point is just to make sure your face is clearly visible.
Given everything you just laid out, reporting that university for attempted diploma fraud wouldn't be an uphill battle. 😉

I’d be gone by tomorrow—they'd have me expelled before lunch.

Ahem, I need some assistance.

I hopped onto the gaming site to work on my BA, but all I see are mysteries and fitness challenges. Since when did they pull the other games? I’m far too lazy to go hunting through their forums myself. 🥳

My current BA level is sitting right there; I won't hit the next tier until November 20th. 🤣

You should list some produce for sale; that’s all anyone ever bought from me..
Or just DM me your username and what you have listed, and I'll pick something up.. 😉

Thanks for the offer. I actually managed to sell enough stuff to hit the next level... though now it's back to the grind for BA.
🤣
Every single time, I kill myself trying to gather enough BA for a level up, tell myself I'll stay on top of it for the next one, and then I just lose all motivation. Then a task pops up requiring BA, and I spend the next twenty days playing, hitting the salon, getting a facelift... I suppose that's why it stays interesting. At least I cleared the challenge; that was a bit easier.
😁

🎉

I'm not looking to move more inventory just to hit the next tier. 🤣

You claim they hit 60? Hardly. They’ve certainly made up for the wait, though. 🙂
