Side effects of Tritace? in Health ·
Samuel Jackson8 said:Does eating too much wheat actually mess with how well Martefarin works?

Nah, there aren't any known interactions between those two... if you start feeling like the Trice is messing with you or causing weird side effects, just hit up your doctor and they can swap out your meds or tweak the prescription...
Zyprexa in Health ·
Alex Thomas49 said:Hi, looking for some expert insight here. I've been on Zyprexa 10 mg for about four years now. I’m dealing with constant issues with cold sores. I spend practically 8 or 9 months of the year fighting outbreaks. I’m not saying the medication is definitely the cause, but I can't ignore that these flare-ups started right around the time I began taking this crap. On top of that, I have this massive need to sleep—about 13 to 14 hours a day—and if I don't get enough, I feel like absolute garbage. Lastly, my vision has been messed up since I started this stuff. I just want to know if this medication could be responsible for a weakened immune system, the exhaustion, and the vision issues... or if it's nothing to do with it? It would be easier if the answer was yes, because I’d like to hope things improve once I stop taking this junk. Thanks for any input.

Well, strictly speaking, Zyprexa shouldn't technically cause cold sores, but more likely they're a sign that your immune system is taking a hit... though honestly, with how much people play fast and loose with side effects these days, I can't even say for sure. But I'd bet money that Zyprexa is behind the vision changes and the fatigue, since those are pretty standard side effects... See, Zyprexa is an antipsychotic used to manage psychosis, but it's hard to call it a "cure" per se. It's more about dampening the symptoms so a patient can function socially despite being sick... so it's not like you can just suddenly walk away from the treatment easily...
If these side effects are seriously messing with your life, there are definitely some newer generation antipsychotics out there that might offer similar results but with way fewer downsides....

And honestly, pure caffeine is actually white... 👍

Something I've been noticing while reading up on famous biographies:

Balzac used to go absolutely crazy on caffeine just to get his writing done faster.

Then you have Tesla, who apparently decided to quit coffee entirely at one point, which means all those incredible patents and everything else were coming purely from his own brain without any extra mental kickstarts.

As for me, I can’t even wrap my head around a single thought or start any kind of real intellectual work unless I grab some caffeine first, and if I want to keep up that same level of intensity and quality after a few hours pass, I pretty much have to go back for another dose.

So my big question is, why can some people function perfectly fine without caffeine while others just can't? I'm mostly talking about that high-level mental performance stuff.

Does it have something to do with genetics?

That’s really just down to habit, man. For people who use caffeine regularly, their brain activity actually drops compared to the rest of the population when they try to go without it...
Side effects of Lexapro? in Health ·
Timothy Clark3 said:So, I was wondering if anyone else has dealt with side effects from Lexoklar, specifically things like diarrhea or a loss of sensation in certain parts of the body? Like, you know, where you just lose feeling in an arm, a leg, or somewhere else entirely... Does that make sense? Also, has anyone experienced those weird tingling sensations running through their legs? I’ve heard stories about people actually losing their sense of smell or taste—or both—within just a few months of use. On top of that, I’ve been hearing quite a bit about Medazol having a ton of side effects related to the nervous system, which is what my private urologist mentioned to me. Personally, about a month after I stopped taking Lexoklar (I was on 500mg for three weeks), I started dealing with diarrhea. After that, my bladder sensitivity went haywire, along with general sensation around my penis. My urologist was pretty blunt about it, too—he basically said both Lexoklar and Medazol are toxic. I was originally prescribed the Lexoklar by an ENT to deal with some sinus issues.

Man, almost every antibiotic out there causes diarrhea, so that part is pretty standard...

That’s actually what I’m so stressed about—like, the pharmacist at CVS told me straight up not to use castor oil near my eyes...
I honestly don't get it though, because then you see all these people who are desperate for longer lashes just slathering it on anyway... so now I'm just stuck wondering which one to believe...

anyway, thnx

I really don't think anything bad will happen from using the oil, the worst case is probably just some temporary blurry vision if it gets in your eye before your tears wash it out...

Rebecca Johnson6 said:thanks for getting back to me, but isn't the whole point of this stuff to actually make what you already have thicker and longer?

do you think this would actually work too?...

thanks in advance!

I mean, if they're gonna be bigger and longer, they basically have to grow, right? There aren't really any other lash growth serums out there besides hair ones, but honestly, I wouldn't even dream of putting those near my eyes because it seems way too risky... maybe try some castor oil instead, just dab it on twice a day... 👍

Rebecca Johnson6 said:hey everyone,

I really need some advice for my son...
He's 15 now and I honestly can't wrap my head around why, or what kind of phase he was going through, 🤷he actually pulled out his own eyelashes.
It’s been about a year and a half since it happened, and they just won't grow back...

I've hit up all the local pharmacies, seen various dermatologists, and tried everything to get some answers, but nothing works.
I kept thinking they'd eventually just sprout back up on their own, but nope—nothing. You can see these tiny little dark spots where the lashes should be, but there's zero growth, not even a hint of anything...

Right now, we've just been applying olive oil, and he's been doing that for maybe four weeks or so, since I figured it couldn't hurt...

If anyone has any ideas or suggestions, please let me know...

Thanks so much in advance

Try using castor oil, you can easily grab some at a CVS or any drugstore...
Cold sore on my lip in Health ·
Bryan Lewis75 said:Hey everyone, so like two days ago I felt this weird sensation in my mouth right by my teeth, and when I actually looked in the mirror, I saw this white spot with a little red ring around it... I did a quick Google search and apparently it's a canker sore, which most people say mostly happens to kids (and yeah, I'm only 14...), so I was just wondering if there's anything I can take to make it go away faster, or if I just have to wait for it to heal on its own? Thanks...

Try using some Orajel or even just rinsing with warm salt water about 5 or 6 times a day for maybe 40 seconds each time...

Dude, seriously, don't drink that!!!

I mean, sure, you might find some meds or vitamins for a bit cheaper online or overseas, but we're talking maybe a 30% discount at most...
The fact that they're just some random seller on the internet doesn't change anything, because honestly, who actually knows if they're checking what's inside those pills? For all you know, it's totally FAKE

Alexander Morales50 said:Hey there! Just saying hi...
Man, I got absolutely wrecked by this bug over the weekend... just hit me out of nowhere with a crazy high fever and a throat that felt like I swallowed broken glass. My temperature finally decided to chill out and get back to normal, but my throat is still super raw and my tonsils are swelling up like crazy... I really ought to go see a doctor about it, but my primary physician is out of town right now, and I've got to be at work in Washington, D.C....
Is there anywhere else I can go to get this checked out? Or maybe I could at least find a way to switch over to a different doctor in Washington, D.C. on short notice...
Thanks a million...

Just give him a call so he can call in an antibiotic prescription for you, since you already have the electronic script ready to go... then you can just swing by the nearest CVS or Walgreens and pick it up...
Athlete's foot in Health ·
silentskipper3 said:What’s the fastest way to clear up athlete's foot? Since I'm dealing with those annoying fungi, I was wondering if Johnson & Johnson is actually the most effective option out there. Or maybe something plant-based would work better? I think I read somewhere about mixing pure tea tree oil with St. John's Wort oil.

What has actually worked for you guys?

I'd say try rubbing some tea tree essential oil on the affected area every morning and night, and then at night, just coat your soles so some of that tea tree can really soak into your system...
Honestly, if you ask me, the absolute best way to deal with stress is just getting moving and doing some physical activity. Like, the more stressed I feel, the harder I push myself in the gym, so by the end of it, you basically don't even have any leftover energy to stay worked up... Once you're at that point where you can barely keep your eyes open because you're so wiped out, it's pretty much impossible to keep spiraling over those annoying thoughts, because all you can really think about is crashing into bed... 👍
Best ways to get rid of a cough? in Health ·
Dana Morales64 said:So about a week ago I caught this nasty sore throat and while that part mostly cleared up, the coughing just won't quit. It’s actually keeping me up at night because as soon as I lie down, my chest starts rattling and triggers this coughing fit... and to make matters worse, it’s a totally dry cough, so I can't seem to clear out any of that mucus or whatever you call it. I've been reading that I need to chug tons of warm liquids which I am definitely doing, but nothing is coming up. This has been going on for over a week now, anyone got any advice?

If it feels like there’s a ton of congestion stuck in your lungs, please don't take those suppressants like Robitussin or anything meant to just stop the cough, because you really want to go with something like Mucinex instead. That stuff actually helps break down the phlegm in your chest so you can finally hack it up and get some relief... plus, just keep drinking plenty of fluids.

And seriously, don't take it right before you hit the sack... 🙂

It’s basically a choice between dealing with the extra pounds, choking down side effects, or just starving yourself until you burn more than you take in...😢
And honestly, we'll probably end up in a spot where nobody can buy anything because everyone's BMI is under 30 and women have waistlines smaller than 34 inches 👍

Look, technically nobody with a BMI under 28 should even be touching this stuff, but let's be real, the box costs over $100 so I seriously doubt anyone is going to get turned away at a local pharmacy regardless of what their BMI says...
If they're out here selling things like Normabel over-the-counter for $2.75 then I don't think they're gonna care about these rules one bit🤣

Hey everyone!

So, over the last couple of days, this new weight loss supplement called Ada has been popping up everywhere in the Over-the-counter market...
Honestly, I wouldn't even be posting this if it wasn't just another one of those "classic" weight loss scams where they're basically selling you overpriced nothingness. It feels like GlaxoSmithKline just took a lower dose of Xenical—which, let's face it, was a prescription drug that flopped because the side effects were just too brutal—and rebranded it. Then, when you look at the pamphlet for Ada, it’s like they completely scrubbed all the serious side effects out of there. It just paints this picture of a perfect, happy life where everyone is healthy and jogging through meadows in the fresh air... Ugh, give me a break!

I mean, seriously, where does it end?...
