Hey everyone, I'm looking for some solid advice on a GPU upgrade. My budget is around $167, and I really need at least 1 GB of VRAM—ideally hitting that 2 GB mark if possible. It’s gotta support DirectX 10.1 or 11 and play nice with my current setup: an ASRock P55 Pro motherboard, an Intel i7 860 (LGA 1156, 2.8 GHz), 8 GB of DDR3 RAM, and a 600W power supply.
My current ATI Radeon 4650 with just 512 MB is absolutely killing me... it's way too weak and honestly feels ancient at this point.

So I’ve got this 64 GB SD card that turns out to be a total scam—it’s actually just an 8 GB chip masquerading as the big capacity it claims to be... I really want to just stop fighting it and actually use those legitimate 8 GB before I lose my mind, but I need to figure out what the actual, honest-to-god usable space is first.
I’ve already messed around with standard formatting, poked through Disk Management, and even tried a few different partition managers, but nothing is sticking... I can't seem to find a way to force it to behave. Any ideas on how to fix this mess? Thanks in advance.

So, I’ve run into a bit of a wall here... I can't get this game to launch because it's demanding DirectX 11 or higher, but no matter what I try, my system won't let me install anything beyond DirectX version support 10.1. I'm running Windows 10 64... I did some digging online and apparently, older graphics cards just don't have the hardware guts to support anything past DirectX 10. My current setup is an NVIDIA GeForce GT 430... Is there actually any way around this without me having to go out and buy a whole new card?

Diagnosis: motherboard is dead. It’s only about a year old, so it’s still under warranty—thank God, otherwise I’d be sweating over the cost of $333 for a replacement... Honestly, any kind of failure is better than having the drive kick the bucket 🙂

I’m constantly tinkering with my rig, swapping stuff out here and there... power supply, motherboard, CPU, RAM, GPU—everything is basically a year old at this point.
I totally forgot to mention that I tend to leave my PC running overnight quite a bit, and last night was no different. When I fired up the monitor this morning, everything looked normal, just sitting there on the login screen like usual. But the system was completely bricked; the fans were spinning fine and everything seemed powered up, but that login screen was just frozen solid. I tried every trick in the book to unstick it, even tried a hard reset via the button, but absolutely nothing worked. I eventually had to just yank the plug from the wall to kill the power. And wouldn't you know it, as soon as I booted it back up, that exact same freezing issue came right back to haunt me...

I might give this a shot, though honestly, it’s only about a year old, just a 650W unit...

So, I’m dealing with this total nightmare where my PC just won't boot up... I hit the power button and you can hear that brief sound of things trying to kick in, the lights flicker on for a split second, but then everything just dies immediately. It keeps doing this loop every three seconds until I finally just yank the plug out of the wall to make it stop. I even cracked open the case to see what was going on, and the fans spin up for a heartbeat before cutting out again, just over and over... It honestly feels exactly like trying to crank an old car engine that just refuses to catch and die, you know? If anyone has any clue what the hell is happening, please help me out...

Most of his live takes run well over ten minutes. Rosalita is the only one where the studio version actually stays under ten.
