Tonight we have the Lakers-Heat showdown.
I am looking at a Miami victory because they are:
physically imposing, stronger than the home team, and they score heavily in transition, which doesn't suit the LA style.
Furthermore, LA struggles with perimeter defense, an area where Miami could exploit them significantly given their quality shooters.
Then there is the tip-off time at 12:30 PM, a slot that historically hasn't worked well for this squad; even though the Lakers managed to beat the Denver Nuggets on the final day last year, it’s about time LA took a loss at home, despite playing great in their own arena.
That recent loss to the Utah Jazz will serve as a wake-up call for Miami, likely sparking another winning streak.
It is very rare for Miami to drop two games in a row.🤷

Did the Hornets just become an elite squad out of nowhere?
It’s always the same story. They set a low line like that... and then some mediocre team ends up pulling off the win.
The NBA is rigged, I swear.i

Where are you even getting this news?
I track all injury news on Twitter. That’s also how I find out about Ray Allen.
But is there some specific group or account on Twitter that updates injuries for every single team?
The way I do it is by typing things like "Ray Allen out" into the search bar to see if it's legit. But it would be so much more practical if there was just one central hub for updates on all players and all teams, right? Surely something exists, I just haven't found where...😁
Lopez's third game back since missing the first half of the season recovering from foot surgery was his best effort. The 7-footer made 17 of 28 shots for 38 points - one shy of his career high - in Tuesday's 93-92 win at Dallas.

Settling in here in Oregon where we're looking at one of the most exciting matchups on the schedule tonight. It’s the home team Portland Trail Blazers taking on a heated Miami Heat squad. Portland is well known for having an incredible home-court advantage; their fans really know how to set the tone and create an intense atmosphere. There is one player currently on the rosters who absolutely thrives in that environment at the Rosa Garden. I'm talking about LeBron James. Throughout his career playing there, he has averaged 30.4 points, 9.8 rebounds, and 7.1 assists, shooting 49.7% from the field and 46.9% from deep (15-of-32). http://www.oregonlive.com/blazers/index.... In his last four outings in Portland, James has been averaging a massive 39 points. Batum and company are going to struggle against a physically dominant LeBron James. This looks like the perfect opportunity for him to bounce back after a slightly subpar stretch recently. Generally speaking, LeBron tends to play better on the road, averaging about 2.4 more points away from home than he does at home. To make matters even better for him, Chris Bosh won't be in the lineup, which gives James even more freedom in the offensive sets. Therefore, the over 26.5 feels like a very realistic solution.

This is a lock. It's as solid as they come.
Tony Parker, who won the NBA All-Star Skills Challenge last weekend, put up a team-high 21 points in that game and has been averaging 22.3 points on 59.2 percent shooting over his last three matchups with the Bulls.
The Spurs Playmaker has also averaged 23.0 points while shooting 63.8 percent in his last three home games against Chicago.
That performance helped the San Antonio Spurs win 10 of its last 12 home matchups in this series. One loss stands out recently, though, when the Bulls pulled off a 98-93 win on Jan. 25, 2010, driven by Rose's 27 points.
The reigning Most Valuable Player is currently averaging 34.0 points and shooting 59.0 percent through his last three games against the Spurs.
