Right.

Just grab an adblocker and set it to run in the background of your browser. It'll quietly scrub away all those annoying ads and pop-ups before they even hit your screen.
Feeling Melancholy in Psychology ·
Gerald Hill said:This thread hasn't been touched in a while. To me, melancholy feels like a steady decline in one's vital energy—a pervasive sense of lethargy toward everyday tasks, coupled with a deep feeling of sadness and emptiness. How would you all distinguish melancholy from clinical depression? Are there any melancholic personalities here besides myself, and if so, how do you manage? I find that almost every activity feels like a heavy psychological burden; I struggle to find peace while performing tasks, often experiencing nausea and sorrow, though I frequently feel bouts of anger when I am required to get things done. I find myself gravitating toward boredom.

I lean much more toward melancholy than depression; I've never really dealt with the latter. I used to struggle with it, but thankfully, those days are behind me. Thank God.
Jeans recommendations? in Fashion ·
Kenneth Sullivan58 said:I headed over to the King of Prussia mall earlier today. It’s been five years since I last bought a pair of jeans, so I figured with all those shops, I'd eventually find something.

But oh my god, what a disaster!!!!😠
I tried on stuff at Replay, Guess, Benetton... the denim quality is actually great, I won't lie, but the cuts...
I mean, who on earth can even fit into these things???😲
The rises are so shallow that you practically have to be a skeleton just to pull them up!!!! You need a 15-inch waist to make them work, plus legs like a giraffe!!! It's a complete joke!!!
And I only weigh 110 pounds😁 and I'm 5'3"!

Does anyone know if there are any "normal" jean cuts left in this world?? Something with a low rise (that isn't incredibly shallow) and a slight bootcut.
I'm going to spend the rest of the day wandering around town; hopefully, I'll strike gold.
There has to be hope somewhere!!!!
😉

Personally, I’ve always had a soft spot for Tally Weijl, The New Yorker, and Zara—that last one is a non-negotiable staple. Sure, brands like Lewis offer something premium, and while they definitely come with a steeper price tag, you really do get what you pay for when it comes to quality. 🙂
Best bank in America? in Banking, Insurance & Loans ·
JPMorgan Chase is easily the worst of the bunch; everyone else is doing just fine enough 😁
It really depends on the individual, doesn't it? I get along famously with some of them, but then there are those others who just seem to crave constant attention and endless conversation. It gets incredibly grating when they reach out simply because they're bored and expect me to act as their personal sounding board. They tend to unload their entire lives on you, treating you like a therapist because they feel like nobody else is actually listening or taking them seriously. They look to younger people for that sense of understanding, yet they still insist on demanding your opinion—only for them to pull the "I've lived longer, so I must be right" card. It’s like having a different perspective based on our age is treated as an error rather than just a different way of seeing things. At the end of the day, it’s a mixed bag; some are perfectly fine, while others are just exhausting.

No way. That’s just nonsense.
Screaming in my sleep in Health ·
Roger Patel13 said:I’ve already spent some time digging through the internet and various forums looking for answers, but everything I come across seems to focus exclusively on toddlers. My situation is different—I'm 17, and I find myself screaming in my sleep, sometimes even physically getting out of bed. When morning rolls around, there isn't a single memory of what happened. The screaming is incredibly loud and genuinely terrifying; it's intense enough to wake up my neighbor living across the street in 🙄
.
I'm curious if anyone else has dealt with something similar or has any ideas on how to handle this. Honestly, I'm at a total loss as to where I should even begin...

Have you ever felt actual physical pain while dreaming? Like, was there some kind of ache or injury that triggered the screaming, or was it just out of nowhere?
