Rhinoplasty: Experiences and recovery tips?
in Health ·
Hey everyone, I could really use some advice.
About two years ago, I had a rhinoplasty with Dr. Glumicic—he smoothed out the hump and refined the tip.
But now, I’m dealing with a few issues:
1) Ever since the surgery, I’ve had trouble breathing when I’m lying down—I've been mouth-breathing while sleeping for two whole years now.
2) Right where the hump was originally smoothed out, a new bump has actually appeared (!?)
3) Even though I specifically asked for a straight profile, after a year, my nose turned out hooked. Now I have this hooked tip, a dip, and then another little bump—it’s definitely not as bad as before, but it’s still there.
What should I do? I asked for a straight nose, but ended up with a hooked one and a bump. Honestly, the hook isn't even bothering me as much as this recurring bump!
Is it possible to get a consultation with a different doctor? Every time I go back to him for a check-up, he acts like everything is perfect and claims the bump gives me a "natural look" (!?).
Can I get a second opinion from someone else to get a realistic view of what's going on with my nose?
