Honestly, looking at the size of those hands, they could end up having a "reach" comparable to Pogorelić's or Lang-Lang later on. With that kind of caliber, there isn't really anything you can't play on the piano if you actually put in the work. Though, if you ask me, the hands look a bit oversized. I saw that with Pogorelić too—sometimes it looks like he doesn't even know where to put his fingers because they're so huge. 🙂If they ever decided to go into music, I’d suggest the double bass. It’s easier to pick up, more fun, and you'll find a gig way faster than a pianist would. 🥳
Anyway, there are a few classic jokes about bassists, and this one is a staple:
Some parents walk into a music school wanting their kid to learn an instrument, but they aren't sure which one. They want something that isn't overly complicated, something with a quick learning curve so the kid feels a sense of achievement relatively fast. So, they start talking to the director, and the dad asks, "How long would it take to learn the violin before it starts sounding musical?" The director tells them, "Well, maybe about 5 or 6 years of intense practice and serious dedication." They follow up with, "And the piano?" — "Oh, probably around 3 or 4 years." They keep going through the instruments, and it always takes forever, until finally the dad asks, "What about the double bass?" To which the director replies, "Oh, that doesn't take long at all. Do you guys have anything else you need to get done around town today?" 🥳
Of course, it's not actually that easy; any instrument can be incredibly demanding and virtuosic 🥳

That math is way over my head. 😳Does that mean we can actually slow down time through sex? 🤔
