Relationship issues: Need some advice

I am 30 years old and I am still a virgin. Up until now, I have only been in short-term relationships—maybe two months at most—because I just wasn't ready for that step. I realize I am older, but I didn't want to rush things just because of my age. Now, I am one month into a new relationship. My boyfriend is sweet and interesting, but he seems to lack patience and doesn't want to wait. I am quite conflicted. Every time I feel that surge of fear, I think that maybe I just don't want to do it.
Has anyone else dealt with a similar situation, or perhaps has some advice or a perspective to share? Thank you all.

I’d offer some advice if I could, but I’m saving all my wisdom for marriage and I pretty much know zero about sex.
