1. He’s unsure if he’ll actually like the flavor, so he just wants a taste first. 2. He doesn't want to mess up the plates.😛 Is that because he's trying to save himself the dishwashing, or is he thinking about whoever else in the house has to deal with the cleanup?🥳
Does this necessarily have anything to do with psychology?🤔 Maybe.🍿 I mean, you don't exactly eat straight out of the serving bowl when you're at a restaurant, right?🤔
The grocery store is practically empty today. What’s really striking, though, is how people on the street are actively avoiding each other—everyone's crossing to the far side of the sidewalk just to maintain distance 😲 Is this old-school intolerance resurfacing, or just pure, unadulterated anxiety? 😢 Walking through town, I feel like I've slipped into a parallel dimension. It’s the same world, yet everything feels fundamentally different because there's nobody around. Or maybe it’s just the streets that are deserted 😵 And no, before anyone asks, I haven't been drinking, I don't have a fever, and I'm definitely not coughing 😳

Hey hey, the whole world's on edge now, wondering who the virus will snatch tonight, I'm reading about it everywhere I look, locking ourselves down in quarantine,
The entire planet has lost its mind, everyone’s brain just went up in smoke, panic-buying toilet paper like crazy
Hey hey, save some TP while you can, you're definitely gonna need it someday, wash your hands really well right now, and scrub your backside too!
(Sung to the tune of "Hey Hey, We're Happy People")
Had to tweak the lyrics a bit so they actually fit the rhythm.
The flu hit China first, then took its little trip around the globe, bringing a whole lot of panic along for the ride (2x)
hey hey, the whole world's shaking in its boots now, wondering who the virus is gonna snatch tonight, it's all we read about everywhere we look, and now we're all just locking ourselves away,
The entire planet has gone absolutely nuts, everyone’s lost their damn minds over this, stockpiling toilet paper like there's no tomorrow,
Hey hey, save some paper while you can, because you're definitely going to need it eventually, make sure you scrub those hands well, and give your backside a good scrub too,
(sung to the tune of "Hey Hey, We're Happy People")
Anthony Nguyen81 said:If you're hitting 85 BPM and have a total of 750 beats, the math is just 750/85, which gives you 8.8 minutes—basically 8 minutes and 50 seconds (49.41 😬)
Alright, so all I need to do is divide the total beat count by the BPM 🤔 that's exactly the formula I was looking for 🙂
I’m trying to calculate the total duration of a piece based on its tempo and number of bars—basically finding the total number of beats—without having to actually listen to the track or play it through.
So, let's say a song is in 3/4 time and runs for 250 measures. That means there are 3 beats per measure, so 250 × 3 = 750 beats total.
If the tempo is 85 BPM (quarter notes), how long does the whole thing actually last? 🤔
blah blah blah, that's what I'm telling you, and it's the honest truth, blah blah blah, that's what everyone's shouting now because common sense is dead blah blah blah, the radio's just screaming fried everyone's brains blah blah blah, on the TV right now some jerk is yelling at the screen blah blah blah, nothing intelligent left not even an ounce of integrity blah blah blah, come on, everyone join in it's our only hope blah blah blah, catch that rhythm give everything a fake glow👋
ironcobra13 says, once upon a time, there was this user. just a little presence gone too soon. they used to post, then they just stopped. we all felt the void, mourning and lamenting over that one missing soul, burning through every box of tissues we had. and so the days dragged on, weeks, months, and years passed us by, but that person never came back to us. then today, I heard a rumor, a few lines about getting things back on track. apparently, a birthday is coming up soon, I’ll take their word for it—seems unlikely they're lying, so let's try to call that old user back home; if we play our cards right, maybe they'll actually answer.
But now, both the girls and guys, the veterans and the newbies of this forum, are moving fast, getting ready for the big parade. We need to frost the cupcakes, book a brass band for the ceremony, and hire a killer DJ to keep the dancing and the party going.🙂
I don't root for anyone The ballot box won't move my feet My hand won't cast a vote To pick a President
I am just who I am I've never made a choice Whether I ever will, or if it matters If it brings me any luck I don't know today Sometimes I dream Maybe one day I'll come back to it But for now, that day is far off Like dreaming about someone new
But you go ahead and choose, Don't hesitate Maybe your choice will be a good one Maybe it'll bring some hope at least Let a new dawn finally break Let hope rise up once again
