Honestly, we might as well just scrap this thread entirely. I mean, we can keep talking about indoor soccer if you want, I don't really care either way. It's up to you guys, I guess.

Alright, I finally got this thing open. So, look, I’m gonna ask nicely if you guys could just move all those futsal posts over to the new thread. We really need everything from post number 700 onwards moved over.
Thanks.
Thanks.
So, are we actually gonna start a thread for the Futsal Euros or what?
The tournament kicks off today. A couple of years back, everyone was talking about this because our national team was playing, so I guess it wouldn't be a bad idea to have a dedicated thread for it.

America is turning down major tournament hosting bids

Honestly, there's just way too much stuff being organized here, especially considering how bad the economy is right now.
They actually tried to host the Water Polo Continental Championship at Madison Square Garden, but everything just turned into a total mess because of some bureaucratic nonsense.
I’m seriously gutted about the Futsal World Cup. After that killer performance at the Continental Championship, we really should have gone for the World Cup, but I guess our leaders are just too clueless to pull it off.
Besides, hosting a Futsal Continental Championship or a World Cup doesn't even cost much—CONCACAF and FIFA cover basically everything, provided you've got the right venues ready to go.

imagine how much better things would be if we just kicked the trash out of this sport entirely!?!? 😲😲😲
Now this is getting closer to the truth.

You gotta be kidding me 🤣
Honestly, our guys played an incredible second half 👍
The defense was struggling pretty hard in the first half, and I guess Vreca had to bail us out a few times just so we didn't totally sink.
Duvnjak was awesome, all three wingers played their best game yet, and Bicko was absolutely killing it in the second half.

Maybe Sliškovic could pull an ace up his sleeve today. I really hope he gives him a shot because, honestly, Bicanic has been playing like absolute trash lately.

These guys today might just steamroll us... matches against Poland are always such a physical nightmare... I guess Drago needs to give Dom Duvnjak a breather whenever he gets the chance today...
I doubt there’ll actually be a chance for that today. They barely gave him any rest against those limited Russians, and the second he stepped off the court, everyone started panicking.

Not him, not Arason, Xepkin, Gorpishin, Lindgren, Pogorelov, Peterso, Kasper Nielsen, Lars Jorgensen, or Johnny Jensen. Nobody who specializes in just smashing through and diving into the "meat" is some kind of genius. It's like people act like those mentioned players played defense in some fancy, polite way, just using their heads and positioning combined with reading the game to stop opponents...especially against that 5-1 setup France used with an Indian like Karabatic, while Dinart and B. Gille were waiting right behind him.
Sure, some guys will go down in history as elite defenders—I wasn't even trying to compare them to that. But it's honestly hilarious to me when everyone calls Mus a butcher, yet completely ignores the whole lineup of players who did all the dirty work for their teams to rack up medals.
B. Gille was playing the Indian, and Karabatic was just back there waiting with Didij.

If we actually had any sense, we would've hired Dominiković to call the timeouts, just like how the French have Didij calling their defensive sets. I wouldn't be surprised if once he retires, they throw Omeyer into the coaching staff, if nothing else just to keep us on our toes 😁

I guess our odds against the Danes aren't great.
They basically have everything they need to walk away with the gold.
I’m feeling pretty pessimistic today, honestly. I just don't see us pulling off a win, and I'm terrified we're headed for a total blowout.

You think they might open up a separate thread for the Turkish league?
Man, I'm pretty sure it'll happen, mostly because we've got two of our own coaches over there, plus a ton of our guys playing in that league anyway.
I honestly think it’d be a good move. People are gonna be watching it like crazy, so why not just give it its own space instead of cluttering up the threads for other leagues?

Patrick Wright2 said:We'll get on that right at the start of next season. Also, count me in for opening the thread.
What's the plan? I mean, what are you even thinking? I guess I'm just sitting here waiting for something actually interesting to happen, but who knows, right? Maybe I'll just grab a coffee and see if anything changes. Honestly, I haven't really decided yet.
I mean, I honestly thought we were talking about the Championship or even lower than that. Maybe I just totally misread the situation, I guess.
I'm totally down for it. Honestly, the South American league is the only one that actually makes sense. Screw those guys over at Aperture and Clasure—they're overrated anyway. This league's got some solid talent, and I guess it might actually be an interesting season for once.
Are we getting a separate thread for the U-17 Euros starting tomorrow?
I mean, I think it’d be a good call. People are gonna be watching this tournament pretty closely, especially since our kids have such big ambitions. Plus, any time we actually qualify for a youth championship finals like this, it deserves its own space, you know? Since we rarely make it to the final stages, we should probably take advantage of it.

Honestly, nobody even talks about that group stage loss anymore—at least I don't. All anyone cares about is how we absolutely crushed it in the finals and walked away with the gold.
People only remember the winners, and unfortunately, some folks just aren't part of that club. They probably never will be, I guess.

You’re being way too hard on him, Adam Wilson. I mean, yeah, we’ve all been riding him, but honestly? This was probably his best tournament yet. He stepped up and defended plenty.
Man, talk about a massive blunder. I personally caught it during the game against the Americans—it probably happened against the Danes too—but against the Americans, he was basically screaming through the first half. John and those guys walked right through our defense a few times, easily feeding the pivot, and we would've had zero chance if it hadn't changed. Once the defense tightened up in the second half, that problem just vanished.
Look, whether people like his style or not, he’s our best keeper right now. I refuse to agree that he's a total zero in goal; there's no way he wouldn't be starting for a team like Veszprem.
