goldenranger7 said:Thanks for getting back to me! 🙂 I was checking out his before-and-after shots, and honestly, some look totally natural where you can't even tell anything happened, while others have such a killer correction.
As for Glumicic, I’m kind of torn. Lately, everyone on the forums seems pretty happy with him, but then I start remembering those old stories about how people still needed touch-ups afterward, or how he just shortened the nose and lifted the tip. Honestly, I don't want to end up looking like Miss Piggy 😁

I mean, I can't decide. Glumicic does a beautiful job—he shapes the tip and everything so it actually fits your face. With Tony, I noticed he mostly just takes away the bump and leaves the nose basically as it was.
Anyway, you should probably just go in for a consultation and see for yourself 🙂)
goldenranger7 said:Hey! I'm torn between Tony and Glumicic—any advice? 🎉 🙂

I was in the exact same boat when I was deciding who to go with. I kept looking at Tony, especially since everyone here raves about him and so many girls seemed super happy with their results.
But honestly? I wasn't really feeling his style.
Maybe just get some sketches done or go in for a consultation first so you can actually see what he's thinking.
In my opinion, after surgery, Tony's noses look great, but the changes are honestly pretty subtle.
nimblemoose40 said:I'm thinking the same thing. You don't think all that will just fuse together weirdly because of it?

I really don't think so. 🙂
Ashley Gomez said:I went in for my follow-up and he basically told me everything was fine and kicked me out. Honestly, back then it didn't look nearly as bad—probably because things were still swollen—but even then, it wasn't looking great. Over time, the middle part just seems to have collapsed, leaving that bone sticking out in the center, which makes the tip look way wider since the middle is so thin now.

And I can't even wear glasses right now because they just kill my nose.

Oh man! I am so sorry!
Ashley Gomez said:Hey everyone, I had nose surgery about 4 years ago with Dr. Smith. I just wanted to get rid of my hump and slim down the tip, but honestly, he completely wrecked it. Everything looked fine at first while the swelling was still there, but once things settled down, it just kept getting worse over time. Now I’ve got this thin line of bone right down the middle and a wide tip that's even wider on the left side. I can't even wear glasses anymore—I wear contacts, but when I try to put on sunglasses, I can only last about 10 minutes before it becomes pure torture.

Now I need to find somewhere for a revision rhinoplasty, but I'm totally lost. Has anyone worked with Dr. Miller? Or if someone could recommend a good surgeon, please let me know.

Thanks...

Did you go back to see Smith for a follow-up? What did he actually say about the mess he made?
And why can't you wear glasses? Is it pain or what?
Maybe you just snagged a stitch or something? If it’s starting to feel a bit inflamed and swollen, that might be what's going on.
Honestly, I totally get it. I remember the first time I had my nose done—I accidentally yanked on a stitch thinking it was just a stray hair or something, and man, the pain was unreal.
It was one of those dissolvable stitches, too, the kind that just falls out on its own eventually.

Honestly, they don't even look the same to me. I'd say we're looking at two totally different people

When's the big day? I'm dying to hear how it goes! 🙂

Daa, yeah, I realized they weren't, but by then it was way too late to delete the post.
They're pretty similar though, and I actually love both styles.
The appointment is in less than a week 🙂)
I am seriously losing my mind waiting🙂)
I'd go for the style in the photo myself 🙂
Or maybe that one from if you saw the pics Glumicica posted on that lady's page—you know, the one with the white feather earrings. That one is gorgeous 🙂)
Okay, quick question—is it just me, or do these two people look like the exact same person? Seriously, they look identical to me, and even their nose looks almost the same after surgery.

Maria Castillo23 said:Trust me, I barely felt anything. It was more just being uncomfortable since they did three different things to my nose... but actual pain? Nope. They kept me on Ketorolac so it was pretty much painless

So, who'd you go to for the surgery?🙂
Megan Sanchez27 said:Hey there!
Can someone who actually knows what's up give me an idea of how long the wait is for surgery at Glumicica?
Thanks

I ended up waiting two and a half months. I could've done it in a month and a half, but the schedule didn't work for me, so I just took the next available slot.
stormyharbor2 said:For me, getting the tampon out was easily the absolute worst part. Everything else went totally fine, except for that one moment.

Ugh, tell me about it. I know for some people that's a straight-up nightmare experience—I mean, everyone handles stuff differently, right?—but let's be real: it sure as hell isn't "pleasant."
Ashley Bishop43 said:So my brother had surgery last year for a deviated septum—they didn't even have to touch the outside of his nose—and man, he looked absolutely terrifying. Like, his face was insanely swollen, just totally blown up. But honestly? Everything settled back into place perfectly fine.

Honestly, I’m not even that terrified of the actual surgery—it's the thought of having that tampon removed that really gets to me. 🤣

Pulling out a tampon only takes a few seconds. Honestly, it’s more just an awkward, uncomfortable sensation than anything else, but you power through it and it's over before you know it. 🙂)

Honestly, it’s the surgery that’s got me totally spooked. It’s the outcome that really gets to me... brr.

I just had surgery for a deviated septum—no cosmetic stuff, just the internal fix—and my nose is so
swollen I’m low-key spiraling thinking my face looks totally wrecked. I can barely
wait for them to take these tampons out just so I can check if everything actually looks okay.

Don't sweat it, it's totally normal to be swollen even if you only had the septum done. It'll go down before you know it. I remember this one girl at the Mayo Clinic who had the exact same thing done when I was there, and she was just as puffy as you are right now.🙂
Ashley Bishop43 said:Oh man, awesome! Please, please let me know how the nose surgery goes 🙂 and if it really doesn't hurt as much as they say 😁.

I'm totally with you on that choice, it's a solid pick 🙂 super cute too—honestly, even my nurses were pretty chill 👍.

For sure 🙂.
Ashley Bishop43 said:Glumicic 😬

You too? When's your big day?

Daa, less than ten days left 🙂
Ashley Bishop43 said:Man... That actually scares the hell out of me. Like, seriously. I really hope I don't chicken out at the last second. 🤣

So, who are you heading to see? 🙂
Sarah Adams59 said:I’m actually heading to see dr. Glumicica soon for a rhinoplasty. If anyone has any intel, please share!
I live in Linz, and I've already sat through a few consultations with doctors here in the States, but honestly, when they start quoting me around $5,500, I just don't feel that sense of confidence. It’s not even about the money—it’s just that if someone treats me like just another number for that kind of cash, I’d much rather give a different doctor a little "extra" under the table just to make sure they actually look out for me... I heard that with dr. Glumicica, the procedure runs closer to $2,000. Has anyone actually gone to him? Help a girl out! :-))))
Thanks! Bye! :-)

Glumicic is awesome. I don't know if you've had a consultation with him yet, but if you haven't, go. Just go.
I saw three different doctors for consultations, and the second I walked in with Glumicic, I just knew. Like, instantly.
He basically diagnosed my issue without me even opening my mouth. And let's be clear—I don't have a hump or anything; my nose is actually pretty straight and normal. But he saw immediately that the shape just didn't fit my face. The other guys were all so wishy-washy, like, "maybe we could do this, or maybe that," and I wasn't feeling their work at all.
Glumicic does an incredible job with the tip of the nose, even though he hasn't posted those specific shots on his site. The profile looks so good, I was honestly blown away!
Anyone here had surgery with dr. Glumicica? If so, hit me up.
I’ve got my procedure coming up soon and, honestly, I’m freaking out just a little bit.
🙂
fadedfalcon13 said:It won't do anything for the look of your nose—that’s how it went for me. The only thing it'll actually fix is a deviated septum, if you even have one.

I don't think that's even what she was asking.
John Collins10 said:Basically, you just give them a call, it'll cost $6333, and then you're stuck waiting months for the checkup and the actual surgery. 🙂

I’ve already done the whole consultation thing and everything, now I'm just sitting around waiting for the surgery itself.
Man, the days are dragging by so painfully slow 🙂
