Mercedes-Benz absolutely devoured the competition. I mean, I expected them to be fast, but this is just next level.
Are we really looking at another season where Valtteri Bottas is basically just the "main challenger"? If that’s the case—honestly, I might just skip watching.
Kubica, if you ask me, it feels like he just doesn't have the physical strength left to handle these beasts—especially in that struggling Williams. Sorry, Richard Ross11, but it feels more like he's become a marketing asset at this point. Major respect for everything he's achieved, truly, but after that accident, there isn't much left to chase in NASCAR.
Sainz ?? Where did he even go?
All I need to fix my morning is an old hangover and some Lando Norris highlights 🎉 🎉
Oh, and by the way, the Honda engine in the Red Bull looks solid. I wouldn't be surprised if Red Bull Honda knocks Mercedes-Benz off their throne before that Italian outfit manages to get their act together.
Honestly, some of the amateurs hanging out on this forum... 🤦
I’m calling it now—tomorrow Ferrari is going to cruise to an easy 1-2 in qualifying, and Sunday will be nothing more than a casual stroll through the park. ☕
Gary Palmer8 said:I mean, how could he have done any better than P3?
From what I gathered, he was playing support for Max—once Max pitted, he stayed out on track just to act like a classic number two driver and hold up Kimi Räikkönen. It was a struggle for him to even clinch P3 in the end. If this had been a different circuit, I doubt he would have pulled it off.
Anyway, like Valtteri Bottas mentioned earlier... 🤣🤣
Lewis Hamilton absolutely ran circles around Sebastian Vettel—it was honestly embarrassing to watch someone with four titles look that lost 😵
The sheer amount of mistakes made under pressure is getting ridiculous; at this point, it’s just sad to witness. Instead of playing nice and letting Hamilton through—who clearly had the pace to pull away anyway—he just ends up slamming right into his 🤦
I have to give Kimi Räikkönen props for not yielding to Sebastian Vettel; he really didn't have any reason to, either. Honestly, who cares about team orders when your contract is basically up the door? What's it to him? All Sebastian really needed to do was hold off Hamilton instead of lunging at Kimi, and the race would have been wrapped up tight.
Secondly, Ferrari got completely dismantled tactically by Mercedes—they basically buried them alive right in the middle of Monza. It doesn't matter if you have the faster car if your pit wall is a total disaster 🤦
stormybadger8 said:Just take a look at that start 😉 instead of Kimi going after Hamilton for P1, he’s busy blocking Vettel just to defend P2... Honestly, it’s such frustrating, overly cautious driving—though I suppose I can't entirely blame the Team Principal either, since he couldn't just say clearly, "Hey guys, don't fight each other, go for the win from both sides"...
I'm pretty sure Vettel would have let Kimi through 🤦
By the way, Kimi was actually faster than Vettel all weekend long, and this was basically the only way they could get Vettel ahead of him. Him finishing ahead of Hamilton at the end was nothing more than pure luck.
Everything else is just fairy tales—we all know what Ferrari is really about.

I can't help but speculate on what might actually be driving this run of bad luck—whether it's just a string of unfortunate timing or something deeper under the hood.🙂
I can't help but wonder—where on earth was this brilliant Lewis Hamilton hiding all those years before Mercedes-Benz started their absolute takeover during Q3? ☕
Just a casual second left on that final lap 🤣
It honestly reminds me of those Hollywood movies where everything hinges on the protagonist pulling it off at the very last possible moment.
When we first kick off a thread like this, all we really need is to drop the dates and times—and maybe include a few more guys with oversized egos and even bigger... well, you know what I mean.
You honestly have no idea what kind of game Ferrari has been playing during these tests.
They’ve done such a masterful job of masking their true performance levels that nobody even views them as a legitimate threat to Mercedes-Benz.
Everyone seems to be laser-focused on Red Bull—though, let's be real, they don't stand a chance as long as Renault is still running that power unit.
I thought Ferrari handled last year's testing quite well, but this time around, I am genuinely surprised by how much these guys from Maranello have adopted a certain German-style precision in their approach.
Linda Peterson43 said:But seriously though: Is this General Motors car actually legit, or are everyone else just sandbagging?
In the world of F1, there's usually a bit of a pattern—once the cars really get dialed in during that first day of testing, teams tend to switch into full race mode and start shattering lap records.
