Does that sound familiar? It seems like you're the only one who doesn't mention Alonso! 😁

Are you guys even paying attention? Seriously, what's going on here?
ruggedhawk20 said:Well, they should probably just point to 1948
because the 1948 Monaco Grand Prix was actually run in cars built specifically according to Formula 1 regulations
No matter how you slice it, the logic is flawed here...
And if we want to make matters even worse—the very page where you've copy-pasted Bernie's revisionist take on history actually contains a glaring logical error itself
Basically, the argument claims the races only started in "1950," yet there's no track record listed. If there isn't a track record, then technically the race hasn't ever been run, right? Because if it had, there would be at least some kind of lap record to show for it. Makes sense, doesn't it?

ruggedhawk20 said:So, all in all, yeah. But then why does the opening post mention 1950???
You'll have to walk me through that logic here.
ruggedhawk20 said:Just look at this—an F1 car compared to an actual F1 car.
And that was back in 1948. In Monaco!
Jason Campbell70 said:It’s a shame they didn't put Senna or Raikkonen on the poster—I think our friend jadeseal7 would have understood the vibe immediately.
ruggedhawk20 said:You’re laying it all out there—but look, if 1985 was actually the 43rd year, then there's absolutely no way 1950 could be the first based on any kind of math.
ruggedhawk20 said:Just dropping some random program covers here...
I mean, someone please walk me through this logic. If the very first Grand Prix took place back in the Inaugural season 1950, how on earth does it make sense that the fifth Monaco Grand Prix was held way back in 1933?
And how is it even possible that the thirty-fourth Monaco Grand Prix happened in 1978?
Seriously, how does that work?
Look, we're all reasonable people here—surely we can try to make sense of these discrepancies. Especially when certain folks are so incredibly stubborn about sticking to that 1950 starting point.
I would genuinely love to hear an explanation from the experts on this one.

Pastor Maldonado claims it's all because he's got some serious guts 🤣🤣—honestly, I can't decide if he's being brave or just reckless! 🤣 😂 😂 😂
Crashtor Ballsdonado 😂

stormybadger8 said:I’m starting to worry that—if I’m being honest with myself here—Kimi wasn't actually outperforming guys like Nico Rosberg, Sebastian Vettel, or Lewis Hamilton because he was just that much faster; rather, it felt more like Lewis was essentially playing the role of the Little Train.
Jason Campbell70 said:I think we can all agree on how Sebastian Vettel drove today.
There really isn't much else to say about that.
However, I have to disagree regarding the assessment of Kimi Räikkönen's performance.
Looking at his fantastic result today, there were two pivotal moments—the mid-race strategy shift and Sebastian Vettel’s little meltdown.
As for the first, credit goes to the pit wall, while the second was entirely on Vettel.
stormybadger8 said:Kimi had an incredible race, whereas Vettel’s performance was just abysmal...
Well, one swallow doesn't make a summer—it's a bit too early to judge the whole season based on one weekend, right? 😉
And let's be honest—there's a massive difference when Vettel manages to claw his way into fifth place even after a terrible race, rather than just sliding out of the points or settling for tenth...
