Judelin and insulting believers in Feedback & Suggestions ·
rustyharbor3 said:Um.. I thought this thread was about how judolino communicates, why are we pivoting to a religious debate now? He’s aggressive and rude on other threads too, constantly insulting people. I’ve reported his posts several times, but nothing ever happens. Why?

Because they just let him get away with it. Ask Uncle Stril why judolino acts like such a jerk. That guy doesn't have the basic decency required to participate in a discussion here like everyone else...

wiredangler5, no matter what you write, you're going to get crucified by the "antifa" crowd. That's just how things work on this forum. Good luck...

wearywolf252 said:So, I guess "for home ready" is fine too then? If all that matters is whether it’s motivational rather than who it's for... Right? 🤔

Honestly, I'd much rather things be laid out clearly so you actually know who you're dealing with... Otherwise, we'll end up like FIFA, just banning the fonts altogether 😵

ZDS is fine. Just dreaming about being home ready right now, I'm exhausted and there's no place like home.

I'm not trolling, I just don't understand your language.
If you want people here to understand you, you need to speak their language...

Will Smith should probably just stick to making movies like Bad Boys.
His son's work is pretty dull; he's clearly not cut out for Hollywood.

Daniel Ward87 said:Hunter and Schmokljan both have permanent bans, and just like everyone else, they can reach out after six months to ask for a second chance. Whether the admins actually grant that request is anyone's guess—it’s entirely up to them. As of right now, it doesn't look like their bans are going anywhere.

Look, there’s actually a reason things are handled this way. It involves some intel we've gathered from other users on the boards, along with a few other details I can't really go into here. Just know that the rest of the admin team—the mods, supermods, and Anderson—are all in the loop.

So, there’s really no point even arguing about their permanent bans.

I don't get why you can't just say. Either Hunter is someone famous who rubbed you the wrong way, or they just personally annoyed someone, so they got banned. 🤷

I don't see any reason why you couldn't explain why someone was banned from the forum? 🤷 What’s so top secret and dangerous about it? 🤣

I found the whole situation pretty sketchy too. The way the admins handled everything felt off—it honestly seems like there’s some personal vendettas at play, which is probably why access to the community was pulled for 🤷

The way they handled the Lord Byron situation was also a massive fail on their part 🤣

As for Schmokljan, getting suspended was well-deserved. He showed zero class and had no respect for the staff or the rest of us. They were actually being way too soft on him. In this instance, the facts are all right there in black and white. But those first two cases? That was all just backroom politics 🤷
Frank Williams6 said:I haven't really posted on this topic before, but I just had to weigh in.

Exactly.
People are overdoing it without any filter at all.
When you talk about human rights, that includes the right to faith and human dignity. If there's a right to love whoever you want, which there is, why is the right to believe suddenly less important?
Attacking the gay community is called homophobia, but attacking and insulting Catholics is just called being "liberal" and "open-minded." Yeah, right.

This is what greeted me yesterday in a chat I write in:

Totally out of nowhere, people just started losing their minds over something with a Catholic vibe.

In three years of chatting with Bradley Sanders4, Yevgeniya, Bios, etc.—people I totally disagree with—I've never seen such an unhinged, baseless meltdown.
Basically, intolerance and hate speech toward believers have been quietly slipped through the back door while everyone was busy focusing on the rights of every other group.

Debates, questions, healthy humor, sarcasm—that's all fine. But this general mania of "let's crucify the Catholics" is just way too much.

So, I'm either for allowing (i) politics or banning the religious bickering entirely, so that users who want those kinds of debates can head over to the appropriate subreddits or threads on politics, religion, and stuff like that.

I'm not a fan of bans.

So? She just proved how primitive she is. Thinks she's being edgy and urban...🤦

Sophia Thomas7 said:My bad, I didn't realize this thread was about how the LJES mods aren't up to par and we need to start scouting for replacements. Totally missed that subtext.

Just throwing a comment out there for the sake of it, I guess. 😁

No, I’m talking about testing that one scheme I mentioned before. We comment on the selection of the new moderator, and if there aren't any serious criticisms, then the new moderator is accepted. That doesn't mean the administration will actually listen to those critiques—they probably won't—but at least we'd have a say if things get bad. On the flip side, if the feedback is positive, it might actually motivate the candidate. Looking at how many people here turn down the moderator role, this could be a decent way to encourage someone to actually step up... 🤷
steelskipper5 said:Look, I've only been hanging out on LjES for a few days—and honestly, just two and a half threads—but I’m pretty sure I know exactly who you're talking about. I mean, anyone could figure that out just by scrolling through the forum for a minute.

I don't read much, but I think they're talking about Susan Price. My picks are Alex and Hildegard... 😁

Sophia Thomas7 said:Honestly, what’s the point in even mentioning it? It doesn't change a thing about who I think would be an excellent candidate.

If there's something worth mentioning, then let's talk about it... 😁
How moderators should be chosen in Feedback & Suggestions ·
The idea of letting users vote on moderator selections just isn't feasible on this forum. It’s a weak concept, and I sincerely hope you don't move forward with it. The only real input users should have is the ability to comment on a dedicated thread once the administration selects a potential candidate. Let that thread stay open for a few days before the official appointment; if people drop some heavy, legitimate criticism that makes the candidate look totally unqualified, then fine... the administration could take those serious concerns into account before making a final decision 🤷

And here we see the true face of these so-called liberals. Democracy is just a convenient tool for them, used whenever it suits their interests.
