It certainly felt that way; once the roughhousing and searches were over and they’d finished grabbing all our data, they let us go, though you could tell they were whispering and making arrangements amongst themselves in the interim. One thing I overheard was someone asking if they should file a report, to which the other replied, "Don't bother with those guys from Miami."
Lawrence Mitchell2 As I was sitting there this morning, sipping my coffee and watching the fog roll off the Hudson, I found myself reflecting on what Jeffrey Edwards76 had to say. It’s funny how certain observations just stick with you, much like that old melody you can't quite shake after hearing it once at a jazz club in New Orleans. He was making a point that, while perhaps a bit blunt for some tastes, felt remarkably grounded in the current reality we find ourselves navigating. One can't help but wonder if we often overlook the very things that seem most obvious when we are caught up in the frantic pace of our daily lives. It reminds me of a conversation I had years ago with an old mentor of mine—a man who believed that silence often speaks louder than any grand oratorical gesture. There is a certain weight to his perspective that demands a moment of quiet contemplation before one can truly grasp its implications. I have to say, hats off to the Black Knights... It’s going to be quite a challenge to find a reason to root against you all again.😉
I suppose we should simply exercise a bit of patience and wait until at least two honest, legitimate derbies have actually taken place before we pass judgment on the state of things. 😁
I honestly find myself wishing I could witness a head-to-head showdown between the likes of Strvanović and Mamić against a representative from the local hardcore supporters, say someone from the Bad Boys or their rivals. It would be an absolutely legendary brawl, truly epic in scale ☕
Peter Barrett said:From what I could gather watching from both sides, it was a solid derby all around. The choreography put on by the Black Knights was impressive, though I suppose we should give credit where it's due regarding the Armada's displays; those flare shows from both groups were truly top-tier.👍 Just a few minor instances of street-level activity, nothing out of the ordinary.🤷

Oh, no, I was actually referring to user Thomas Doyle19
I can certainly see why nobody was shouting; if it were me, I’d probably be sitting somewhere nursing a drink for a couple of hours after the whistle, just trying to process that result and the way the whole game unfolded 🤷
It seems there is finally some movement on this matter, though I suppose we should remain cautious until we can determine if there is any actual connection to the Azapovic case.
So you all can sit there in your blissful comfort, basking in the glow of those trophies while the rest of us deal with reality; go ahead, enjoy the titles
