Dana Nelson🙏 🙏 🙏
Look, we're talking about how there are endless posts like this scattered all over this forum, and they just stay up. 😕
Sam Ramirez81 said:Honestly, I wouldn't even have an issue with people making things up if they weren't deleting the posts from those who (with actual arguments) respond to the fake plot points and vague insinuations. It makes it look like they are flaming or off-topic, while the (troll) posts they responded to stay 🤷
The exact same thing applies here.
Users will provide a reasoned rebuttal to a fake plot point by citing actual events, dialogue, photos, or GIFs, only for their responses to be flagged as trolling, off-topic, or just "chatting," while the blatant fabrications—like the deleted post mentioned above—stay right where they are. 😕
There are so many of these posts; it’s been pointed out that this specific user trolls in about 90% of their contributions. Every single one can be debunked just by pulling up images, exactly like Dana Nelson did.
I honestly don't get it: does someone really have to step up every single time like Dana Nelson and hunt down screenshots just to prove that someone is trolling? Isn't the explanation provided in the report sufficient, or are we now expected to produce forensic evidence for everything? 😕
Who actually has the time to play detective and prove every little lie? And I have to wonder, how is it that the moderators watching the show don't see such massive fabrications? Or do they simply choose not to see them? Isn't it the core responsibility of a moderator to look objectively at the provided episodes as evidence and decide whether a fabrication constitutes trolling or not (especially in cases involving reported trolls)? 😕
Is it really up to the regular users or the moderators to put an end to these manufactured versions of show events? 🤷
Making stuff up and then basing your entire opinion on those lies is fundamentally different from basing your opinion on what was actually broadcast in the series 😉. That first scenario is clearly trolling, isn't it? And that doesn't belong in this discussion thread, does it? Isn't that what the rules explicitly state?
Larry Lee97, wouldn't you agree that the way Michael Ramos's post was twisted is a perfect example of trolling? darktinker12 posted it here today.
Unlike some others, I won't be getting dragged into further debates regarding the characters' actions, because there's simply no place for that here. There's already been a warning to stop doing that, yet it keeps being ignored. ☕
Larry Lee97 said:Everyone’s pushed things too far at some point, mostly just to dodge getting deleted or banned. The rules were laid out clearly with those moderator warnings—it was explained multiple times in the messages how stacking up enough strikes could land you a permanent ban. After the warning, the expectation was simple: just get back to regular posting without all the friction we saw before. And look, it isn't "trolling" just because a few moderators decide to review reports; it’s not just me making that call.
Disagreement isn't trolling—whether it's with me or anyone else on this forum. Let’s get one thing straight: nobody here has actually made that accusation (and if you look back at the posts, the evidence is right there in plain sight). If that were the case, I’d personally be reporting every single person I disagreed with, but I don't do that. You can check my history yourself; if I flag a post for trolling, it’s because it’s actual trolling, not just because someone holds a different opinion than I do. The only posts that get reported are the ones where the truth is being twisted—where people are flat-out lying about the show's plot by inventing scenes that never actually happened. Those are the posts labeled as trolling, and those are the ones that get wiped. 🙄.
Look, we all have our disagreements here, and that’s fine, but let’s get one thing straight: people aren't reporting trolling just because they have a difference of opinion. They're reporting it because it actually *is* trolling. It's not about who wrote the message; it's about the behavior itself. Yet, somehow, the focus always shifts toward the identity of the poster, while the moderators seem to selectively scrub any content they simply don't agree with. To claim otherwise is honestly pretty ridiculous when everyone on this board is shouting the exact same thing, and the trail of left-behind and deleted posts serves as undeniable proof of what's really happening. ☕
Look, I’m asking for some actual substance here: provide the proof. Show me the evidence that all these posts—including the ones that have already been flagged—aren't just blatant trolling. ☕
I'm with you on that.
SaromLook, some people are big fans of Levent, while others can't stand him, but as long as we aren't dealing with a dedicated troll, there’s really no conflict here. It's just a simple exchange of perspectives—people weighing in, questioning why things happened one way or another, and debating the "why" behind it all. ☕
Larry Lee97 said:Nathan Turner3 made a good point: things aren't fully moderated yet, so just hang in there—the decent posts will be restored. Whether you realize it or not, you're overlooking one thing I said, which was basically, "With Nathan Turner3's blessing, three moderators agreed to clear out everything starting from that first problematic post by Dana Nelson (which was reported), and all the subsequent posts that were just piling onto her nonsense instead of sticking to the topic."
I'm no lawyer like Michael Ramos4, but she and those other few people who can't stand Feriha have as much right to their opinions as you do to yours. As long as you stay on track, feel free to praise or bash the characters all you want, but let the people who disagree have their say too.
First point,
but ☕.
That "opinion" is nothing more than a blatant lie, just like the example you provided yourself earlier; she’s fabricating events that never actually happened, so how is she allowed to do that?
There is a massive gulf between forming an opinion based on what you’ve actually seen on screen—commenting on whether someone likes a certain development or not—and straight-up inventing scenarios out of thin air to justify hating or loving something that isn't even there.
The others who don't like Feriha aren't spinning yarns or spreading falsehoods. Twisting words and outright lying are two very different things, as far as I'm concerned. 🤷
I honestly don't get why my questions are being ignored. 🤷
It would be wonderful if all those troll-like posts from Michael Ramos4 were wiped clean instead of just sitting there (though I wouldn't hold my breath). ☕Trolling is eating up a massive amount of pages in this thread; how is this permitted without any consequences, and why is it still being tolerated?
Second point: they're allowed to do it, but where exactly aren't we? 😕 Seriously, we aren't even allowed to reply to people who disagree with us—which is exactly what you admitted earlier—otherwise, we'll get banned. Why is that the case? 😕
And what about all those other trolling posts from Michael Ramos4? How is she actually allowed to get away with lying like that, let alone blatantly misrepresenting the facts?! 😲 😕 🤷
Why does she get a free pass to lie? 🤷 The thread explicitly states who said what, making it crystal clear that she twisted someone's words—which is just a fancy way of saying she lied. That is textbook trolling, yet it hasn't been deleted or resulted in a ban. Why is that?
Also, why have some of the posts here gone completely ignored? 😕
I have to say, I am completely on the same page as Dana Nelson regarding this entire situation. This pattern of justifying violence isn't just a one-off comment tucked away in a single post; it’s been written repeatedly over and over again. The women in this community have already voiced their concerns, which is exactly why I stepped in to cite the Violence Against Women Act. I know, I know—citing legal definitions might seem out of place here, but I felt it was absolutely necessary to act as a reality check. We need certain people on this forum to realize that you can't just write whatever you want without consequences, especially since nobody seems to bother responding to the trolls targeting Michael Ramos4. To make matters even more interesting, moderator Jay actually left the post up with a note attached. However, shortly after that, moderator Adam M. went ahead and wiped out the post along with all the other legitimate discussions about yesterday's episode and its characters. And let's get one thing straight: this isn't some baseless grievance where I'm just complaining because someone happened to mention my name. It’s about the content itself.
If promoting violence is such a direct violation of this forum's rules, then why hasn't the moderator in charge of this specific thread stepped in to shut it all down? Why haven't those posts been sanctioned? It would be incredibly simple for her to just lay it out in plain English: state clearly that inciting violence is strictly forbidden both here on this platform and in the real world, and remind everyone that encouraging it isn't just a breach of etiquette—it’s a criminal offense punishable under the Penal Code. Dana Nelson She actually reported it!? Seriously, why does everyone feel the need to flag posts constantly? It’s like nobody actually understands what the issue is—and even when they do report them, nothing ever gets taken down anyway. I honestly have to wonder if anyone is even reading her posts. I’m certainly not the only one who noticed this, and I’m definitely not the first to point out a post where a troll was explicitly making excuses for violence. How many other people on this forum saw that and just stayed silent?
None of those other deleted posts—which weren't mine, by the way, since I only dropped two comments there yesterday—contained any off-topic nonsense or trolling, at least from what I could gather. They were nothing more than straightforward commentary on the episode airing on CNN. Those posts were perfectly fine because they were strictly focused on discussing the events and characters within the show.
Those posts were deleted, but let’s be real—they were pure trolling. They were flagged, and there was a whole detailed explanation right there in the thread explaining exactly how it was a troll job. Even the moderator, Jay, stepped in with a warning explicitly stating that we were dealing with a troll. The reason they weren't wiped clean? Because once again, it’s all about Michael Ramos4. (If I’m misremembering the specifics, my apologies, but it is glaringly obvious here that this troll is being protected.)
Moderator Jay actually did his job today on this thread by issuing two warnings, but then I noticed that moderator Adam went ahead and wiped out his first warning. To make matters worse, she followed that up by deleting his actual posts, which were perfectly fine. It’s honestly baffling to me how one moderator looks at something and sees grounds for deletion, while another moderator views the exact same thing as completely acceptable. 😕.
They’ve gone ahead and wiped out posts that weren't even controversial, and after having several whole pages of content, we're left with barely two. It's like watching someone take a sledgehammer to a library just because they didn't like one book on the shelf; suddenly, an entire archive of discussion has been reduced to nothing. 😲Honestly, I’m completely at a loss when it comes to these kinds of moves. I truly don't wrap my head around the logic here—what is the point of deleting posts that are perfectly fine and follow all the rules? It feels totally arbitrary.
The trolling has been completely out of hand, and despite these posts being reported repeatedly, there’s still zero reaction from the moderators. It’s like shouting into a void. Even though it is beyond obvious to anyone with eyes that this is nothing but pure, unadulterated trolling, the reports just seem to vanish into thin air. We're talking about these specific posts:
Just trolling—this wasn't actually shown in the series, and if you want the full breakdown, I’ve already laid out the explanation in the thread dedicated to that specific post.
Just trolling—that wasn't even shown in the series.
Just trolling and going off-topic.
Just trolling—and honestly, that’s not even how it was portrayed.
-trolling (explained in this thread)
How on earth can those trolling posts I listed above stay up? It’s because Michael Ramos4 teamed up with another troll on the thread!
All these trolling posts are being treated as legitimate contributions and left untouched despite multiple reports, yet everyone else’s posts are being wiped out without any justification. I honestly cannot wrap my head around how this censorship works. The only thing that comes to mind is that River simply refuses to agree with those specific posts.
Furthermore, if anyone else tries to troll—and isn't posting under River's handle—their posts get nuked immediately. So why are River's trolls allowed to stay? It makes zero sense to me because we aren't talking about a difference of opinion here; it's pure, unadulterated trolling, plain and simple.
I am certain that if you actually looked at the deleted content, you’d see how completely irrational this mass deletion is. There was nothing wrong with those posts; they weren't trolling, they weren't off-topic, they weren't insulting, and they weren't provocative. They were strictly discussing what happened in yesterday's episode and nothing else.
How can describing an event or a character from the show be considered "off-topic"?! 😲 😕 Because apparently, that's why those posts were deleted.
Posts are vanishing within a minute or two of being written, even when they are directly about the show's plot. And just like Sam Ramirez81 pointed out, even posts where the user doesn't quote anyone else are being scrubbed. Are we not even allowed to do that anymore?
Look, I have absolutely nothing against having a different perspective. On the threads I've participated in regarding AFK, we’ve always been able to exchange opposing views without a single fight breaking out. But here, where there is blatant trolling, that's impossible. This whole situation is completely dysfunctional.
As for the warnings, I have to side with goldenfalcon7. It feels like we aren't allowed to reply to anyone or comment on dissenting opinions without facing a ban 🙄. Meanwhile, troll River can do whatever she wants.
It baffles me how a troll is still permitted to post when it was stated loudly and clearly in the previous PZK thread that THIS PERSON IS TROLLING IN 90% OF THEIR POSTS!!
If you follow the logic, the moderators on that thread essentially allowed 90% of invalid posts to remain active without penalizing the troll, and now that same troll is back, posting the exact same nonsense without any consequences.
There is no point in participating in a thread like that anymore, and lately, nobody wants to post there because of this troll and the uncontrolled deletions. The troll is achieving exactly what they want: driving people away from the discussion. How much longer is this going to be tolerated?
It’s become obvious that River creates chaos in every single thread she touches, and surely that should be enough to shut down her 90% trolling streak once and for all. What is eventually going to be the breaking point? Will it be a string of 100% trolling posts, or something even worse? 😕 🤷
I am in full agreement with everything Sam Ramirez81 and goldenfalcon7 have written.
Michael Ramos4 said:So what's the big deal? If Disney forms her opinion on guys based on movies, what am I supposed to think of her? She hasn't left her basement; she hasn't met a single guy up close besides her dad and brother. Where is she getting the idea that men act that way even when they don't want to? It’s not from life experience. It's just from the movies she watched, which she admitted multiple times. Movies aren't real life. You can't take a movie and use it to judge actual people in the real world. It's the exact opposite—we use our own life experience to make sense of a show.😁..so the crap Disney spewed doesn't hold water because we know that's not a rule and doesn't apply to all men.
You have your take on it... fine, write your conclusion. I don't care what anyone thinks or writes; it doesn't change my view of the story. But making fun of Disney? She’s a character in a show, not some random person on a forum. You're allowed to say bad things about a character while other characters are being trashed, right? I can poke fun at side characters, but I can definitely take shots at the lead if there's a reason to. Isn't that how it works?
If anyone still finds this confusing after all that, then I honestly don't know what else to say. ☕
The "off-topic" label people keep throwing around is nothing more than an inside joke among those of us who have been posting in the Away From Keyboard thread since this show was first filmed two or three years ago. It has absolutely zero connection to the main discussion, which was clearly laid out in detail back on the original Disney thread—though apparently, some people lack the basic intuition to tell the difference between actual rule-breaking and just having a bit of fun to kill time. If you weren't part of the group, you wouldn't get it, and honestly, it's a bit sad that some can't distinguish between a serious violation and a simple joke. Right now, we’re essentially in a standoff with these kids who are running around trying to throw Chad around the neck 🤣, and we have our rules and prayer and rules and prayer to fall back on. For us, joking around there is pure enjoyment, so let's leave it at that. ☕
Since everyone has started speaking their minds openly, I figured I’d jump in too.
I honestly cannot wrap my head around how one single individual is allowed to terrorize this entire thread for the duration of the series. This particular troll spends every single post spamming, insulting people, and throwing out provocations just to make the rest of us look like fools. It seems like everyone else gets hit with warnings or bans, or has their posts scrubbed, but if it involves the troll from Malibu, everything stays up. I’ve already voiced my frustration in the Complaints section after getting a warning myself because of her, yet she somehow dodges any accusation of being abusive. It is impossible not to walk away with the impression that this troll is being protected—and excuse me if this sounds blunt, but I’m not the only one feeling this way; almost everyone participating in this thread has noticed it. 🤷 Every time this troll ends up shooting themselves in the foot by inventing events that never actually happened just to stir the pot, all we get is some random warning that has absolutely nothing to do with the actual issue. 😕
It feels like everyone else is penalized while she remains untouchable. A perfect example wasn't even that long ago—it was during the warning before last, when a few forum members finally cornered her for repeatedly posting debunked info and blatant lies about the show's plot. Apparently, calling out those lies was deemed a "personal attack." We are all strictly forbidden from doing that, yet the troll gets a free pass? 😕
Is this not supposed to be a forum for actual discussion? Real debate requires disagreeing with one another. Are we all expected to just nod along and clap for each other like mindless drones? 🤷
I have asked several times why the obvious "chill out" comments don't result in a warning, given how much the troll insults everyone here, but I never get an answer. Anyone else who says something similar gets flagged and their posts are deleted, but because it's the troll, it's ignored.
Every single one of us has reacted to this trolling at some point—myself included—but most of us eventually decided to just ignore it. The problem is that she never stops provoking, and eventually, someone loses their cool and catches a penalty. Why hasn't this troll been dealt with permanently through a ban or some other decisive action? 😕
I apologize if I’m voicing suspicions that turn out to be unfounded, but the moderation policy on this specific thread is genuinely baffling and feels bizarre to everyone involved. Everyone on this thread keeps asking why the troll is being shielded; people have pointed this out dozens of times, yet there is zero response. We have all highlighted this systemic issue. 🤷
Adam Miller2, there wasn't any conflict over in the spoilers section. I’ve been posting there since the beginning—though not lately—but I read everything religiously, and there hasn't been any fighting or anything like that. It was likely just locked to prevent the main discussion from migrating over there.
If expressing my opinion earns me a ban or whatever, then so be it. Cheers.
👋
Which posts actually caused all the drama yesterday? I’m completely lost here. 🤷
Maybe there was just too much trolling going on and they had to lock the thread? 🤔
