Dear rustydrifter10,

We have a massive problem on the girl named Feriha thread.

Moderator Adam is out here deleting perfectly normal discussions about the show and its plot—while simultaneously letting Michael Ramos4 run wild on the forum, trolling everyone and making up her own fan fiction scenarios for the series.

I’ve already reported her for trolling—honestly, I couldn't help myself—and now I'm hearing from other women on the forum that, even though I'm still pretty new here, she's been flagged by plenty of others too.

There are several AFK threads floating around here—one of which features a pretty controversial female user who seems to turn that specific thread into an endless battlefield. She’s even dropping profanity in her posts. And honestly? Aside from Jay, the moderators are just letting it slide.

We don't run into these issues on the other AFK threads where that one controversial female user stays away. Honestly, you could have 100 women all holding completely different opinions—it wouldn't matter—because the vibe is just pure banter and total harmony.

Plus, this forum user is openly supporting violence against women.

I just reported her post where she says all that—but honestly, since moderator Adam is letting it slide, I’m not buying her plea for sympathy for a second.

Please read my application to the moderators.

I'm reporting this post for hate speech.

This forum user is openly advocating for physical violence against women. That’s a straight-up criminal offense under Article 325, Paragraph 1 of the Penal Code—inciting public violence and hatred.

I don't need to remind anyone that Warren Buffett ended up behind bars and is currently facing trial because of this mess. Honestly, if someone like him can be taken down, I feel like I should actually put in some effort to figure out who Riva really is.

Please, stop allowing this—just ban her from participating in any discussions regarding women or any other female-centric topics where she clearly has nothing of value to contribute.

slap
If you ask me, that slap was exactly what Emir was going to do—just a predictable reaction to Roman’s provocation, which, as Roman already pointed out, was totally over the line and completely out of pocket. Honestly, now is really not the time for that kind of pushing and playing games. It’s just interrogating something that makes absolutely zero sense at that moment—honestly, what's the point?
Look, just to be crystal clear—I’m not trying to justify a slap in the face here, so let’s not get ahead of ourselves. But honestly? You reap what you sow. If you go looking for the devil, don't act surprised when he actually shows up. In this specific case, that slap is the devil coming to collect.
Shoving things in someone's face without thinking—and testing Emir's patience like that—is just plain rude and arrogant. Emir tries to shut it down, telling her, "Let's not go there, Feriha; we’re going to end up regretting this." He’s angry, understandably so, given everything he's dealing with—Riva, his father, the Yilmaz family, having his funding pulled—it’s a mess. It’s not like he has all the answers figured out yet, but instead of helping, Feriha keeps pushing Levent on him. I mean, if she had mentioned some random guy, fine, but it's *Levent*. Doesn't Feriha realize how much just the mention of Levent sets Emir off? Has she learned nothing from their history? It's like she doesn't know him at all. She promised she'd stand by him through everything, then went back on her word. She isn't offering any actual help or support during this shared crisis; honestly, she's just draining the life out of him, which is pretty much her specialty. To me, that isn't love. Feriha isn't showing any real affection here—when she needs to be his rock, she fails the test time and time again.

Aysun gave her a serious lecture—I'm honestly not even sure if Fer caught the drift of it. For the most part, she just kept staring at the floor or looking off to the side. And honestly, what I found most irritating was how Aysun tried to throw her off balance; it was such a cheap shot, totally in Fer's own style. Aysun actually handed her a perfect opening to prove her wrong, but Fer just doesn't know how to read between the lines. She can't prove anything because, well, the slap was followed immediately by her running away—who knows how many times now? You can't just run away from everything. You can't run away from a marriage or the hard stuff. You have to carry that weight and stand by the person you love.
@Akif, I’m with you on this one—your post hits the nail on the head. A marriage built on zero foundation, made without any real thought and for all the wrong reasons, is exactly why we’re seeing this mess unfold. Honestly, it’ll probably stay this way too, as long as Feriha refuses to trust Emir. She spends all her time running away from everything, and frankly, her behavior toward people—especially how she treats Emir—means she isn't going to achieve a single thing. The way she communicates is just... grating. It’s irrational, totally lacks tact, and shows zero consideration for anyone else. She’s so hyper-focused on her own interests and avoiding any kind of hardship that it always ends up blowing up right in her face. And let's talk about Emir—he definitely can't carry the weight of the world alone. In my opinion, he’s basically fighting these life battles and marriage struggles entirely by himself. He's lonely in that relationship. As for Feriha, it’s like she never developed a moral compass to begin with. She just wanders aimlessly through life, refusing to learn from her mistakes, somehow convinced that everything will just magically work itself out. She’s constantly at odds with everyone she meets. Where is she supposed to go? She feels suffocated by those massive buildings, cramped in her apartment—everywhere feels too small for her. But if you ask me, she’s most uncomfortable in her own skin, trapped by that cluttered, chaotic mess inside her own head.

Dana Nelson, if you ask me, that objection is a bit much. She literally says in the next sentence that she isn't justifying being slapped.

You can pick apart just about anything this user says, but I don't think her openly supporting violence against women is one of them.

As for trolling or making up fake scenarios—if that happens, the user will be penalized. I think we've already made that clear a few times. If something hasn't been moderated yet but Adam thinks it should have been, it'll be handled shortly.

You guys can actually help us out a lot by reporting posts and explaining exactly why they violate the rules in your report.

Hey, thanks for getting back to me first of all.

I think the objection is fair—this user writes posts based on the logic of "I UNDERSTAND AND JUSTIFY," but just to be safe so a moderator doesn't call me out for saying "I DON'T JUSTIFY," let's be clear: this woman thinks she deserves a slap because she's essentially looking for trouble and found it. That's her take.

It’s similar to how Warren Buffett claimed he has plenty of Mexican friends, yet there's a specific minister who is a Mexican he can't stand—now he's retreating through the courts, claiming the court doesn't see his comments as hate speech, but rather as cleverly disguised hate speech.

This isn't an isolated incident; the trolling here is constant. I can't single out every single one because there are just too many—the whole thread is flooded with these types of posts filled with insults, swearing, arguing with other users, and making up fake interactions between characters that never actually happened.

I actually sent in a report for trolling, but nobody seems to be responding to it.

On top of that, perfectly normal posts from women talking about the show, the characters, or specific episodes just vanish overnight. I personally had three posts disappear out of nowhere—posts that followed every single rule—and I haven't received a single notification in my inbox explaining which ones they were or why they were deleted.

Could you please take a look at this thread and my last post regarding the trolling warning?

Also, if you check the related threads for this series, you'll see we don't have these issues elsewhere; the girls are just hanging out and having fun, but for some reason, the problem is localized right here.

It shouldn't be okay to let someone who ignores the rules harass everyone else who just wants to have a normal conversation and joke around like human beings.

I'm asking once more for you to check our threads—I'm not just complaining for the sake of it.

Thanks a million!

I only quoted this specific part because we've already seen the rest of what was posted and people have complained about it plenty of times. Whatever, I honestly don't even bother paying attention to her (Michael Ramos) or the nonsense she makes up anymore.

But something else is bothering me. The moderator deleted a post where I was quoting another user who was commenting on what happened in tonight's episode (specifically the main character's outfit). I was just adding to the conversation about what we saw. A third user even asked for pictures of what was shown, but once she realized the posts were being wiped, she had to 🙂 go back and edit her own post because she couldn't figure out what she was allowed to say or who she could quote anymore.😕

If the moderator is going to go around deleting things, why isn't she being careful about what she removes so she doesn't confuse everyone else? People might actually start thinking they didn't see what they saw (or that the moderator doesn't want them to see it 😁).

Looking at her "blue" warnings, I've pulled out a few things that I'm apparently not allowed to do—things I thought were fine, but apparently aren't 😢:

1. - I'm not allowed to comment on what other users write (even though I've always exclusively commented on their thoughts about the show before). 😕

2. and here she says to comment on what we saw, yet when we do, she deletes our posts. 😕

Could someone besides her finally tell us exactly what we can and cannot write? Her warnings have left us totally confused (at least I am 😕 🙂).

In the end, I just explained it to myself like this: write only what you saw, and when you do, expect to be deleted. It seems like it's better to write about things you *didn't* see, because practice shows you won't get deleted then. 😳 I might have overcomplicated that last sentence, but then again, that's exactly what the moderator does with her warnings 😳.

Yeah, she starts by saying she isn't justifying the slap, then immediately follows up in the same sentence explaining why it was deserved (basically saying the girl got exactly what she asked for). It leaves you feeling like she actually is justifying it.

That’s actually what I wanted to comment on. I’ve noticed the same thing—so many posts (whether intentionally or not, contradicting what Michael Ramos4 wrote) that I personally see nothing wrong with are disappearing incredibly fast. My last post left on that thread was from September, and honestly, I have no idea what I could have possibly done wrong in the ones that were wiped. Just yesterday and the day before, Dana Nelson wrote several really great posts that plenty of people praised and replied to, but now both her posts and all those replies are gone. Also, cosmicorca5 has put a lot of effort into some long posts over the last few days regarding the show's plot direction, and now I can't see them either, nor the responses. I can't remember everyone whose posts were deleted and I'm not sure which moderator is doing it, but the truth is, posts discussing the plot and characters—even when they aren't directly replying to anyone else—are vanishing at record speed. I've been noticing this for a while now.

EDIT: yeah, now that goldenfalcon7 mentioned it, I also remember there were a few posts tonight about the main character's wardrobe (all positive) where someone promised to share photos, but I haven't noticed those being missing yet.

Dana Nelson said:Hey, thanks for getting back to me first of all.

After an agreement between the three moderators and Nathan Turner3, every single post has been wiped out, starting from that very first one everyone was replying to.

Dana Nelson said:I told myself I’d never come back to this forum, but reading through some of these comments... I feel like I have every right to speak up and say what's actually on my mind.

No matter what Feriha says, even if she slept with Levent or half of New York City, she didn't deserve to be slapped.

Physical violence against women can't be justified under any circumstances. I honestly think that when Americans produce shows like Suljin, they’re trying to highlight how much we need to change our mindset and the way we treat women.

I'm honestly disappointed by some of the comments from women on this forum. They’re out here making excuses for an imaginary character in a show, trying to justify why a man would slap any woman—especially his own wife.

That’s just awful. If I ever have a daughter, I'll raise her to know that the moment her husband hits her for the first time, she needs to pack her bags and head straight back to her mother's house.

I would never tell my child that they have to endure even a single slap, no matter if it comes from a prince on a white horse.

It honestly terrifies me to think that any mother might raise her daughter differently, or that one friend wouldn't give her friend the exact same advice.

Some of the comments here remind me of a situation I witnessed back in New York City. It’s like seeing women in full hijabs or burkas staring down a girl in a short dress, refusing to even socialize with anyone who doesn't fit their specific mold.

It reminds me of the comments from certain female fans on that Arabic site, AFK, where they’d write things like NO FATHER WOULD ACTUALLY WANT A DAUGHTER LIKE Feriha.

This is awful. It’s just proof that women are always wolves to other women, and men are always brothers to one another.

Everyone attacking the main female lead should take a moment to ask themselves why the only three men on this forum—shoutout to Raymond Gray2, Frankie, and Hazel—don't share your opinion.

Only the bold text actually relates to the show; everything else is just someone targeting another user and trying to flame them.

Next.
Dana Nelson said:I should probably explain why we always take our shoes off. My grandmother was raised in a strict Muslim household, and in that culture, hygiene and keeping the home pristine are everything. If you’ve noticed, Riva washes up before every prayer and every meal. When they pray and cover their faces with their hands, it’s almost like they're symbolically washing themselves clean before God.

In Muslim households, you aren't supposed to keep any pets other than cats, since they're considered the only clean animal because they groom themselves. That's why you see thousands of stray cats wandering through New York City.

Think back to those early episodes when Riva hits Lara's dog, and Lara just loses it on him.

So, don't make fun of the traditional customs people talk about—like when Hadassah brings the gifts for Corey and Gulsum after the wedding. It’s all part of a Muslim way of life dictated by their faith, which is why the show presents it as a contrast to Emir's family and their modern lifestyle.

That's actually why Hadassah admires Levent; he follows those traditions, showing he respects their religious heritage.

This isn't something to laugh at, folks; it's worth taking seriously.

With all due respect to your grandmother, I really don't see how this matters to the plot of the show. 😁

I deleted the subsequent post from cosmicorca5 because it violated the rules,
which also had nothing to do with the topic. Other deleted posts were either just piling onto this one or were completely off-topic as well.
You're new to the forum, and even though you've been asked a few times to read the rules, you seem to think they don't apply to you.
You posted a private message on a public thread; you only got 30 points for that, even though you could have easily faced a 30-day ban. Out of all your warnings, that was the only one I personally issued.
No matter how much you doubt me or think I'm biased, I treat every single member of this forum exactly the same under the same set of rules.
The only mistake I'll admit to is that I used to send almost everyone private messages, asking them to edit controversial parts themselves or deleting things that might cause conflict. I should have been tougher and just issued warnings immediately, but it's never too late to change. As far as I'm concerned, there are no more warnings—just direct penalties, followed by a notification. You don't get a heads-up just for having a post deleted.

Look, regarding my previous rule-breaking—specifically the spoilers—I’ve been penalized, and I’m not even going to deny that I spoiled anything. I was new to the forum and didn't really grasp the rules yet.

This is the second time you've wiped out my on-topic posts, and honestly, your moderation style is the only thing I've actually complained about here—and that's saying something, since I've been in touch with other moderators like Jay and Bea, whose handling of things I have zero issues with.

So, on this thread, I only quoted your own message, which clearly shows you're just making up excuses for why you deleted my posts. You claimed I was arguing with people on the forum, then turned around and gave me a warning saying I wasn't allowed to disagree with people on the forum.

Actually, I'm kind of glad you quoted one of the posts you deleted tonight—you know, the second one you quoted.

It's because you've basically shown that as a moderator, you're completely contradicting yourself.

Let's take a look at that second post of mine that you quoted.

Is it on-topic? Yes.

Is the post related to the show's plot? Yes.

Does the post discuss specific scenes and events from the series? Yes.

Is the post about the specific behavior of the characters? Yes.

Is it rude, like those posts your friend makes? No.

Also, I'd love for you to quote my last post from the thread you deleted—the one where I comment on the characters' reactions to tonight's episode—so we can see exactly what else you've scrubbed and how much your moderation of this thread has absolutely nothing to do with the actual forum rules.

My first post, the one you quoted, was written because nobody could stand the mockery of physical violence against a woman on that thread started by Riva anymore. After I posted, there was just a wave of positive reactions from other members, which is living proof that people in that thread don't approve of your moderation and that you, as a moderator, are allowing the level of communication to drop below rock bottom.

Furthermore, now you're bringing up some supposed "subsequent agreements" with other moderators regarding the deletion of that first post you quoted, but that very post was publicly approved by one of the moderators on the thread.

Also, I'm just thrilled that as a moderator, you'd bring up my late grandmother in such a sarcastic and rude way—even if you think it's hilarious 😁—because doing that completely strips you of any valid argument and any right to accuse someone of flame war tactics.

Basically, these are the messages I sent to you:

Larry Lee97 said:Please start by reading the rules on this forum and the rules for our soap operas. I deleted a few of your posts because they went against the rules. There’s enough material to communicate normally without clashing with people who think differently. On every single thread, regardless of the topic, there will be people with different views; you should just put them on ignore and avoid the conflict. Also, avoid posts like "that's right" plus an emoji, or "I agree" plus an emoji.

Larry Lee97 said:It's your call. I made it clear that the deleted posts were "against the rules," as you put it—you were just joking, but they were off-topic posts, just like those "I agree" ones. That's why I pointed you toward the rulebook. The administration can still see the posts, so if you feel wronged, feel free to file a complaint. 😁I could have just given you a strike, but since you seem relatively new, I figured a warning and a deletion without sanctions was better. Best regards.

I don't see anything incorrect about the messages I sent you. Look, I have no intention of dragging this out or trying to convince you otherwise. I've said my piece. You have every right to appeal, and the administration is there to make the final call.

Larry Lee97 says:
Please, just start by reading the forum rules here and the guidelines for the soap operas. I’ve gone ahead and deleted a few of your posts because they went against the rules. There is plenty of room for decent communicationwithout getting into fights</>>with people who have different opinions. On every single thread, regardless of the subject, there are going to be people who disagree—you should just put them on ignore and avoid the drama . The same goes for those "low effort" posts like "exactly" plus an emoji, or "I agree"+emoji.

So, thanks again for quoting yourself this time, because it really highlights how you’re reprimanding me for the exact same post, claiming I'm clashing with someone, while at the same time, most of the time, you're lecturing me because I actually AGREE with someone.

In my line of work, we call that a *contradictio in adiecto*—basically, a self-contradiction.

After that, I just gave up on commenting on that topic altogether.

Honestly, when moderation gets this confusing, the best thing to do is just let it drive everyone away from the thread, leaving a handful of users and certain moderators to just sit there and talk to themselves.

I have to say, I am completely on the same page as Dana Nelson regarding this entire situation. This pattern of justifying violence isn't just a one-off comment tucked away in a single post; it’s been written repeatedly over and over again. The women in this community have already voiced their concerns, which is exactly why I stepped in to cite the Violence Against Women Act. I know, I know—citing legal definitions might seem out of place here, but I felt it was absolutely necessary to act as a reality check. We need certain people on this forum to realize that you can't just write whatever you want without consequences, especially since nobody seems to bother responding to the trolls targeting Michael Ramos4. To make matters even more interesting, moderator Jay actually left the post up with a note attached. However, shortly after that, moderator Adam M. went ahead and wiped out the post along with all the other legitimate discussions about yesterday's episode and its characters. And let's get one thing straight: this isn't some baseless grievance where I'm just complaining because someone happened to mention my name. It’s about the content itself.

If promoting violence is such a direct violation of this forum's rules, then why hasn't the moderator in charge of this specific thread stepped in to shut it all down? Why haven't those posts been sanctioned? It would be incredibly simple for her to just lay it out in plain English: state clearly that inciting violence is strictly forbidden both here on this platform and in the real world, and remind everyone that encouraging it isn't just a breach of etiquette—it’s a criminal offense punishable under the Penal Code. Dana Nelson She actually reported it!? Seriously, why does everyone feel the need to flag posts constantly? It’s like nobody actually understands what the issue is—and even when they do report them, nothing ever gets taken down anyway. I honestly have to wonder if anyone is even reading her posts. I’m certainly not the only one who noticed this, and I’m definitely not the first to point out a post where a troll was explicitly making excuses for violence. How many other people on this forum saw that and just stayed silent?

None of those other deleted posts—which weren't mine, by the way, since I only dropped two comments there yesterday—contained any off-topic nonsense or trolling, at least from what I could gather. They were nothing more than straightforward commentary on the episode airing on CNN. Those posts were perfectly fine because they were strictly focused on discussing the events and characters within the show.

Those posts were deleted, but let’s be real—they were pure trolling. They were flagged, and there was a whole detailed explanation right there in the thread explaining exactly how it was a troll job. Even the moderator, Jay, stepped in with a warning explicitly stating that we were dealing with a troll. The reason they weren't wiped clean? Because once again, it’s all about Michael Ramos4. (If I’m misremembering the specifics, my apologies, but it is glaringly obvious here that this troll is being protected.)

Moderator Jay actually did his job today on this thread by issuing two warnings, but then I noticed that moderator Adam went ahead and wiped out his first warning. To make matters worse, she followed that up by deleting his actual posts, which were perfectly fine. It’s honestly baffling to me how one moderator looks at something and sees grounds for deletion, while another moderator views the exact same thing as completely acceptable. 😕.

They’ve gone ahead and wiped out posts that weren't even controversial, and after having several whole pages of content, we're left with barely two. It's like watching someone take a sledgehammer to a library just because they didn't like one book on the shelf; suddenly, an entire archive of discussion has been reduced to nothing. 😲Honestly, I’m completely at a loss when it comes to these kinds of moves. I truly don't wrap my head around the logic here—what is the point of deleting posts that are perfectly fine and follow all the rules? It feels totally arbitrary.

The trolling has been completely out of hand, and despite these posts being reported repeatedly, there’s still zero reaction from the moderators. It’s like shouting into a void. Even though it is beyond obvious to anyone with eyes that this is nothing but pure, unadulterated trolling, the reports just seem to vanish into thin air. We're talking about these specific posts:
Just trolling—this wasn't actually shown in the series, and if you want the full breakdown, I’ve already laid out the explanation in the thread dedicated to that specific post.
Just trolling—that wasn't even shown in the series.
Just trolling and going off-topic.
Just trolling—and honestly, that’s not even how it was portrayed.
-trolling (explained in this thread)

How on earth can those trolling posts I listed above stay up? It’s because Michael Ramos4 teamed up with another troll on the thread!

All these trolling posts are being treated as legitimate contributions and left untouched despite multiple reports, yet everyone else’s posts are being wiped out without any justification. I honestly cannot wrap my head around how this censorship works. The only thing that comes to mind is that River simply refuses to agree with those specific posts.

Furthermore, if anyone else tries to troll—and isn't posting under River's handle—their posts get nuked immediately. So why are River's trolls allowed to stay? It makes zero sense to me because we aren't talking about a difference of opinion here; it's pure, unadulterated trolling, plain and simple.

I am certain that if you actually looked at the deleted content, you’d see how completely irrational this mass deletion is. There was nothing wrong with those posts; they weren't trolling, they weren't off-topic, they weren't insulting, and they weren't provocative. They were strictly discussing what happened in yesterday's episode and nothing else.
How can describing an event or a character from the show be considered "off-topic"?! 😲 😕 Because apparently, that's why those posts were deleted.
Posts are vanishing within a minute or two of being written, even when they are directly about the show's plot. And just like Sam Ramirez81 pointed out, even posts where the user doesn't quote anyone else are being scrubbed. Are we not even allowed to do that anymore?

Look, I have absolutely nothing against having a different perspective. On the threads I've participated in regarding AFK, we’ve always been able to exchange opposing views without a single fight breaking out. But here, where there is blatant trolling, that's impossible. This whole situation is completely dysfunctional.

As for the warnings, I have to side with goldenfalcon7. It feels like we aren't allowed to reply to anyone or comment on dissenting opinions without facing a ban 🙄. Meanwhile, troll River can do whatever she wants.

It baffles me how a troll is still permitted to post when it was stated loudly and clearly in the previous PZK thread that THIS PERSON IS TROLLING IN 90% OF THEIR POSTS!!
If you follow the logic, the moderators on that thread essentially allowed 90% of invalid posts to remain active without penalizing the troll, and now that same troll is back, posting the exact same nonsense without any consequences.

There is no point in participating in a thread like that anymore, and lately, nobody wants to post there because of this troll and the uncontrolled deletions. The troll is achieving exactly what they want: driving people away from the discussion. How much longer is this going to be tolerated?

It’s become obvious that River creates chaos in every single thread she touches, and surely that should be enough to shut down her 90% trolling streak once and for all. What is eventually going to be the breaking point? Will it be a string of 100% trolling posts, or something even worse? 😕 🤷

I am in full agreement with everything Sam Ramirez81 and goldenfalcon7 have written.

I don't want to get dragged into this debate (though I totally get why people are complaining)
It's just a fact that everyone's being kicked off the thread. Normally, we'd have pages and pages of posts after a single episode, but yesterday? Total ghost town. Nobody’s posting anything—or if they do, it just gets deleted

I have to agree with that, but primarily, the people who can't stand Feriha were the ones who backed off.

And now I'm saying it publicly: Dana Nelson this is the forum hr discussing the series Feriha airing on CNN. There are different translations online; you can't lie and claim someone is trolling just because they posted a line exactly as it was aired on CNN. I just watched the rerun and saw the moment when Emir said verbatim, "Feriha doesn't execute facts." I hope someone makes a GIF today so we can finally put this to rest.

I find myself in agreement with these complaints.
From what I’ve observed, my own posts haven't been deleted, yet the contributions of users who simply share their honest opinions on the show seem to vanish. These aren't trolls, nor is there any off-topic rambling or anything of the sort. Meanwhile, Michael Ramos4, who trolls in nearly every single thread, remains untouched and unpunished. We are instructed to report such behavior, so we do, yet nothing ever comes of it. It feels as though this particular user is being shielded by the moderators; if I, or anyone else here, were to post such provocative nonsense and terrorize an entire thread and its participants, we would have been banned long ago. One gets the impression that we are all expected to step back just so Michael Ramos4 can continue trolling, provoking, and fabricating details that weren't even in the series. I have never seen such blatant distortion of the plot; someone who hasn't watched the show but only reads those posts would walk away with a completely warped perception of the story and its characters. Having watched the series three times now, reading certain posts makes me look like this: 😕 when was that actually shown?
Furthermore, I agree that while there are dissenters in other threads regarding AFK, it has never resulted in tension or arguments.
As for Jay and Bea, I have no complaints whatsoever.

And what about all those other trolling posts from Michael Ramos4? How is she actually allowed to get away with lying like that, let alone blatantly misrepresenting the facts?! 😲 😕 🤷
Why does she get a free pass to lie? 🤷 The thread explicitly states who said what, making it crystal clear that she twisted someone's words—which is just a fancy way of saying she lied. That is textbook trolling, yet it hasn't been deleted or resulted in a ban. Why is that?

Also, why have some of the posts here gone completely ignored? 😕

I’m honestly just wondering why that post got nuked and labeled as off-topic—you know, the one where Dana Nelson was trying to break down the cultural context and the underlying reasons behind certain character actions (specifically, that whole insulting incident)? In all the other threads I've followed about American shows, posts like that are usually met with total applause and welcomed with open arms... because, let's be real, we're looking at a different culture here, and most of us aren't super familiar with all those little nuances and subtleties.

Michael Ramos4 wrote this:
Finally, Emir said it... Feriha isn't twisting the situation... clearly he knows her better than anyone. And from the start, Feriha has been twisting every possible scenario and fact... and while Emir wasn't even aware... she was lying.

I just hope Emir doesn't fall for Feriha's little spin doctor moves anymore, especially since he's actually aware of them now. It would be totally pointless to claim otherwise after Emir himself sees and knows that Fer is twisting things..

She quoted the CNN translation perfectly!
But then, she goes on to write stuff that isn't even true! Claiming that Feriha twists everything... Like what, exactly? What did she twist? In this specific instance, Emir just wanted to avoid a confrontation, so he complained that she was twisting things, when in reality, she was just being honest about her situation to help him understand...

We've already commented on and explained the lies a hundred times. Nobody is making excuses for them—not even Feriha—but we get why things happened the way they did (just bad luck). But now she constantly has to be labeled a liar... It's pretty obvious who's doing that. Only the ones who hate her: Aysun, Sanem, Cansu, etc. So why doesn't Emir call her that? She lied to him, too... He figured it all out, while some people just refuse to see it because they don't want to!

Let me make one thing clear. Michael Ramos4 and the rest can write whatever opinion they want about Feriha, but they shouldn't twist the facts! One fact is that Feriha is a compassionate, emotional, pure, and honest person—not some heartless, wicked, or evil person, which is how Michael Ramos4 and a few others constantly label her!
That, to me, is twisting the facts, not Feriha twisting them!

If we’re really going to split hairs here, he didn't (literally) say: Feriha, don't you dare execute that. Just facts. He already said it: Feriha, don't you dare carry that out. The situation. I guess I could post a picture or a GIF to this thread if it’s really that much of a big deal. 😁

Yeah, I guess they didn't actually answer me. 🙂I'm still trying to figure out what exactly was so controversial about my post, where I just shared exactly what I saw: Emir looks like a total mess. His shirt is half-tucked into his pants and sticking out from under that half-raised sweater. I guess he just couldn't be bothered. That’s basically how I wrote it. Maybe the word order was a bit off, but I was just commenting on what I actually saw. Can someone tell me what exactly was controversial here? I'd rather know so I don't end up posting more nonsense about the main characters in other threads. 😁.

I don't care about Michael Ramos4; I only care about this and how it affects me and my post.

By the way, it was also written that it was Feriha. She looks totally neglected—hair like tangled noodles and bloodshot eyes... And that wasn't even deleted. I guess. 😕🤷

Nathan Turner3 made a good point: things aren't fully moderated yet, so just hang in there—the decent posts will be restored. Whether you realize it or not, you're overlooking one thing I said, which was basically, "With Nathan Turner3's blessing, three moderators agreed to clear out everything starting from that first problematic post by Dana Nelson (which was reported), and all the subsequent posts that were just piling onto her nonsense instead of sticking to the topic."

I'm no lawyer like Michael Ramos4, but she and those other few people who can't stand Feriha have as much right to their opinions as you do to yours. As long as you stay on track, feel free to praise or bash the characters all you want, but let the people who disagree have their say too.

I'm no lawyer like Michael Ramos4, but she and those other few people who can't stand Feriha have as much right to their opinions as you do to yours. As long as you stay on track, feel free to praise or bash the characters all you want, but let the people who disagree have their say too.

So, who exactly is stopping them? Sometimes you just want to set the record straight when she starts twisting the facts, you know? But then those posts get nuked because they're labeled as "attacks." They aren't attacks at all—just someone sharing a different perspective that’s actually grounded in reality and being objective.

First point, but ☕.
That "opinion" is nothing more than a blatant lie, just like the example you provided yourself earlier; she’s fabricating events that never actually happened, so how is she allowed to do that?
There is a massive gulf between forming an opinion based on what you’ve actually seen on screen—commenting on whether someone likes a certain development or not—and straight-up inventing scenarios out of thin air to justify hating or loving something that isn't even there.
The others who don't like Feriha aren't spinning yarns or spreading falsehoods. Twisting words and outright lying are two very different things, as far as I'm concerned. 🤷
I honestly don't get why my questions are being ignored. 🤷

It would be wonderful if all those troll-like posts from Michael Ramos4 were wiped clean instead of just sitting there (though I wouldn't hold my breath). ☕Trolling is eating up a massive amount of pages in this thread; how is this permitted without any consequences, and why is it still being tolerated?

Second point: they're allowed to do it, but where exactly aren't we? 😕 Seriously, we aren't even allowed to reply to people who disagree with us—which is exactly what you admitted earlier—otherwise, we'll get banned. Why is that the case? 😕
