If you're going to take it that easy, then everything's already gone to hell. 🤣
Hardly a struggle, really. No slowing down now. 🙂

That kind of energy stays with you. Personally, it’s been my most emotional experience since I started going to games.

Both spots were notorious for the junkie scene. You'd cut through the alleys from the main drag and pass through building courtyards to hit Zanzibar Night (which is a restaurant now), while over at Flower Beach—in the old cinema courtyard behind the side exit—there was that "swamp" of a place.
Back then, I was finishing culinary school near the Frankopan district, and we used to hang out at the oldLibido od Dvornikovih in Dalmatia, which didn't stay open long. Danijela would make us coffee in the mornings while working the counter with Ell 🙄 at the main illegal "coffee shop" where you could light up some weed in peace. Even girls from the nearby vocational school used to go there; there was even a peep show in the alleyway near Frankopan... In that disgusting "swamp," I went a few times—besides the pool table, the only things you could catch there were hepatitis or a heavy dose of marijuana. It was mostly an older crowd hanging out back then, people who were just going through hell.
Thanks for the correction on the name, Matthew Foster8. 🙂

And the reality is, any other group would have a much easier time pulling this off than the Black Knights.
It’s been a long road for a group to reach this level. I’ve always been pretty skeptical about most things, but right now, the Black Knights are living through their greatest era since the glory days of the 80s.
Bringing 2,000 people into New York City on a Wednesday—a workday—just three days after the season ends, only to be kicked out by the police because of some fan activity? Knowing full well a certain crowd will spend the next few days talking trash about us? Only strong people and truly powerful groups can handle that. This is one of the biggest moments for both the Black Knights and the entire American supporter movement.
The last time I walked through New York City like this was over 23 years ago, before the war, and I honestly don't think I'll ever feel it again. You can actually sense that same atmosphere now. They fell back then, and these guys will fall too.

And just to be clear, if I had actually been at the stadium and realized we were just causing trouble for the sake of it, I would have left.
Jeremy Mitchell11 said:I don't support this, Elizabeth Barnes7. I was one of those 200 people physically clashing with the rest of the stadium crowd (@Harold Kim5/">@@Harold Kim5, we weren't just "shouting from the north side," there were hundreds of us brothers standing our ground). Beyond that, I spent three days in jail near the facility serving $100 charges.
I’m saying this just so nobody can claim, "Oh, you wouldn't have gone to the game if you had to serve three days in jail," or "Anyone who doesn't support this is a traitor," etc.
The reason I don't support this is simple. If I hate anything, it's this "flip-flopping" nonsense. If we decided to focus on fixing our own house first, then we can't boycott the Kansas City Chiefs just to show solidarity with the Boys. Don't try to force your rhetoric down my throat—I'm not saying we shouldn't be solidary or take action. I'll be the first one there whenever an action is needed, even though I'm staying out of this specific mess right now.
To me, this is pure hypocrisy. Let's focus on the Kansas City Chiefs, then let's screw over the Chiefs for some fan politics, then here, then there. We say the Chiefs are the best way to take down Jerry Jones, and it's the strongest tool we have in our hands. Well, if we're going to strike, let's actually strike. Why the hell are we playing in his league? Why the hell are we showing up to all these games and cheering? Let's act on a national level and boycott. This kind of solidarity always seems to vanish when things get real. And don't get me wrong, I have absolute support for the Boys. I said long ago that I tip my hat to them, and I've fought with "our own" more than anyone else because we're the craziest ones around. Hats off to you for everything you endure and for simply existing. One day, hats off to you regarding Ukraine, too.
But look, people, either we go all in, or we focus on the Kansas City Chiefs and use them to trigger Jerry Jones's downfall. I'm fairly certain many will agree that he is the main driver behind this repression, these vouchers, and all of it.
